Despite the writing being the weakest aspect of the game, Stellar Blade is still a modern-day masterpiece in my eyes. With thoughtful combat, amazing music, intriguing lore and story, I don't see any real problems that this game has. I'm on my 2nd playthrough for that platinum trophy. I've never been this invested in a game since Spider-Man 2 or Persona 5 Royal. At the risk of sounding cliché, Stellar Blade is my 2024 Game of the Year so far.

This game has one of the best stories I've ever seen in a video game imo. The way how we go inside the mind of Suda51 as a game dev through the lens of Travis Touchdown going into a video game is somewhat poetic and something where a self-insert is actually handled very brilliantly. Even Badman and the bosses get amazing character moments that we actually feel sympathetic for. The gameplay is also very good with how you use various chips to get through some tough enemies and bosses along with dodge rolling and platforming that doesn't feel like **** Overall, Travis Strikes Again is a great game and definitely the comeback Suda51 needed to become the brilliant game dev/director so he can make the long awaited No More Heroes III after a full decade.

This game is at a point where Geo Stelar's character development as a superhero ends and honestly? it went out with a bang. The music in this game was top notch, gameplay was refined and the best it can be, story was amazing to go through, and the final boss put up a wonderful presentation. Screw the critics of yesteryears that criticized this game. Star Force 3 was fantastic when I played it. And as a true gamer, I think my opinion should be more valid than any professional game critic imo.
