Out of all the games I've played in my life this is undoubtedly the worst The graphics are the worst, The Music if you can call it that is the worst and the controls are the most janky out of any platformer game I've ever played. They really **** the bed with this game. It takes baby steps towards what makes the first 2 Paper Mario games such beloved classics storywise. However the battle system makes everything else fall apart with how bad and tedious it is! If you want a good Paper Mario experience I highly recommend you checkout the first Paper Mario *Available on the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion **** or the remake of "Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door" that game out in May 2024.

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is unequivocally the best 1st party JRPG that Nintendo has ever produced even 20 years after the original game came out. The Games battle system is simple yet challenging at times, the world, characters are charming and the story is well written with twists and **** quality of life improvements like less backtracking, Graphical improvement and cleaned up translation make this the definite way to experience this legendary JRPG whether this is your first time or tenth (or more).

Absolutely worth picking up for any fans of metroidvania style games. Aria Of Sorrow is definitely the best of the bunch but "Circle Of The Moon" and "Harmony Of Dissonance"are absolute gems in their own right. Often times you'll find this collection on for $10/$15 on Digital store like PSN and switch Eshop.

Truely one of the all-time greatest when it comes to the Metroidvania genre, the soul system with over 100 different souls still impresses me even after 2 decades of playing this game. One "con" for this game that stops it from being a "10/10" for me is that some of the souls have a ridiculously low drop rate sometimes requiring you to kill/farm an enemy hundreds of times if you don't get lucky right away. However if you are looking for an action-packed high adrenaline gaming adventure then look no further than this game. I highly recommend you pick up the Castlevania Advanced Collection available on all modern consoles and PC it comes with this game and the two other wonderful Game Boy Advance Castlevania games you won't be disappointed.
