Good game with a very tiresome and cluttered interface, unfortunately. The spells are somewhat complicated and it's not very easy to understand what they do. But other than that it's quite decent. The dialogs are interesting and different from the usual RPG. The characters are not very beautiful to look at though. Like the dialogs, the story has something new about it. Overall an okay game that could use a better interface.

It's basically Minecraft in 2D and the lovely settings help making it a bit more than the game that copied Minecraft. For a cheap price you can play hours and hours and explore the places around you. The gameplay is extremely well made and offers a lot of possibilities. All in all a very good game, addicting and with a great replay value.

The graphics are still quite subpar in this game (Spiderweb never really was much into graphics) but the game makes up for it in its gameplay and depth. It's old-school but it's well done and catchy enough, story-wise.

Minecraft is a revolution. Its concept is simple yet so addictive. It was copied by Terrarria which is also pretty good. The 3D is pretty bad whn you look closely but from a distance it can create true masterpieces. Google them and you'll see. A really innovative game that is deserving of the success it got.

This game is terrible. It is supposed to be a throwback to the old days and then it takes 2 hours to finish. I don't remember finishing a RPG on my superNES in 2 hours, ever. It used to be more like 20 minimum. Throw in terrible graphics and conventional gameplay, and you have one of the most overrated indie RPG of all. At least Cthulhu had some redeeming qualities but this one is just terrible.

Very very overrated game with bad graphics and extremely short playtime for a so-called throwback to the old superNES RPG (5 hours or so). The humor is quirky at best. But at least it's cheap.

I was very disappointed with this game. I've read good reviews about it but the game quite doesn't live up to them. The story is okay at best and the rest isn't quite up to the standards of other games in the same style. It's a shame because I think 2D RPG deserve a spot of their own but this game is just not so good.
