Oh how the mighty have fallen. Riddled with micro-transactions and designed in a way that you HAVE to be online at all times to play a single player game so they can sell you these micro transactions

I re-opened my metacritic account from 2013 just so I can review this game and thank the development team. Thank you for making a game with no need for in game spending. Thank you for the voice acting and amazing dialog. Thank you for taking the time to makea game that you love, and therefore we loved. Thank you for not solely thinking of the bottom line, and thinking about making games people will treasure for years to come

It runs and looks worse than the first one. It might be great once the patch it and no doubt add countless additonal expensive download packs but for now the first is better

Constantly crashes, ugly graphical tears and poor shadows on both the campaign and battle views, All the units look nearly the same, have pretty much identical stats, and have similar unit icons. After 3 patches from Creative Assembly its still broken, still buggy, and still and huge pile of dog **** Thanks for shows us alpha shots that looks 10x better than the finished product, and thanks for lying through your teeth all through development.

If you want something to pass a few hours time then sure give Neverwinter a shot, it's 'Free' after all. But note that every single thing in the game has a charge, and not a small one either. For example to respec costs real money, to get anything more than a standard bag to hold items is also paid with real money. Any more than two characters, faster mounts, everything. A bag to hold items worked out to be about 7 or 8 euros. For 1 bag. The lag spikes and rubber banding were awful in pvp and cities, and the fact they kept saying 'its in beta' yet happily took your money for items was a bit of a joke. Also (and this was the worst for me) if you are grouped with a friend waiting to do pvp or an instance, you cannot quest any further than the immediate vicinity you are in. Most of the areas to quest are instanced and so if you are in a party it simply tells you that you cannot leave as you are in a party. so you have to make a choice, sit on your ass and wait for the instance call (which can be a while 25mins at times) or leave the group with your friend and queue alone. Great design there guys.

A good attempt at a western shooter, but it has nothing fresh or innovative, also the banter between the brothers constantly gets a little annoying, and you can't switch it off. Needs more guns and a much less linear path through each mission. Also if you are having issues with this game loading, be sure to update your sound card drivers, or it repeatedly crashes on the intro to the single player game. There were some posts on the steam forums about the other several errors the game seems to have, but not this one so I hope this helps.

The most balanced, enjoyable, and fun FPS you will ever play. If you do not own this game or have never played this game, you are not worthy to call yourself a 'Gamer'

This game is flawed, in that there is no doubt. But if you manage to get it on sale it can pass a few hours away. The combat is dull, with the exception of the magic system which is innovative but lost amongst the other problems. Such as the map giving you a dot where you need to go but not allow you to zoom in better leading you to aimless wander around until you figure out that the location is actually underground or within a building. I played the game for around 10hrs, and it seemed to go no where at all, there are plenty of quest but little incentive to complete them. If you really need a new RPG, and have too much money then sure try it out. If not I'd wait for something better.

I really wanted to like this game, and it had so much potential. However it was ruined by the ridiculously overpowered Archer unit (even with the setting to reduce the dmg they do) and also the fact that if you wait 1 or 2 turns to build your army the AI gets so crazy powerful that you can no longer beat them. If you want a game like this, stick to the Total War series. It's a shame as there are some good elements like the talent trees and magic options, and also using land to grant loyalty.. so lets hope they give it another try.
