The Good: ...Well you click on the game and it starts, so that's a plus. It's cheap, under $**** a UE4 engine game? It's also only 2.5 gigs to download....ready to sign up yet?...keep reading. The Bad: Oh Jeebus where to start? Well it's kb/mouse only so no gamepad support considering there is no reason not to for this kind of game. The voice acting is a bad joke, not funny bad voice acting but the kind of bad voice acting that would piss off puppies. Animation looks like it was done from the year 1998. Textures are fuzzy, everything has this fuzziness to it. The story, very badly done and implemented. You start off staring at some dude and this convo starts up about how you both were trying forever to get into this house but now you inherited it from a dead relative so now you both can check it **** if for the first time but yet the house has some large 1980's computer stuff in it that is supposed to be EVP **** so huge equipment that makes beeps and boops for EVP's???. The Ghost Hunters show walks around with EVP equipment in their hands for crying out loud. Nothing about what to do is obvious, so you're clueless how to proceed and there is only one specific way to do so. Most people get stuck at the very beginning and perma stuck once the first creature shows up. The Ugly: I was actually very excited and eager about this game after seeing the trailer and announcement. I thought, cool, UE4 engine and a creepy old house to explore. I was thinking Outlast but **** not ever...ever associate this game with the likes of Outlast cause this isn't worthy of being associated to a bag of Chesty's potato chips let alone any other scary video game. All the tell tale signs of a quick cash grab were there and I failed....failed by my own hopes and dreams. The Obvious: Judging by the quality, this game just started development a few months ago, perhaps by college kids. Also obvious is the reason why this game had no previews or any other marketing associated with it outside of a single trailer and an announcement by Atari along with another Alone in the Dark game which looks worse than this one to be honest. That reason being is they didn't want anyone to know how bad it was, so it's just for a quick cash grab. There was never a specific release date, just a Fall 2014. They also obviously used the new UE4 engine so they could slap a game together really quickly.
