This game is excellent at creating a tense gameplay which constantly puts you at the edge of your seat and at the same time including some slow, heart warming moments. Rewarding you to explore the map with not just interesting gear but actually good extra content that makes the game just that much more immersive and make you care for the characters. The graphics are great even to this day and the voice over is so good, there is never a line that felt out of place and they are always delivered with the right tone. The game design never lets you leave the game in a way where there is a physical map you bring up, a backpack you put on the ground to craft stuff and game design that makes you keep your eyes peeled, this creates a level of immerse other games fail to achieve and it really sets the bar high. This game is truely great and it balances all the right elements correctly

The game has beautiful graphics and a cool story, the remedy universe is one of the most unique worlds ever made. Control has amazing world building with lots of details and easter eggs that make the game feel immersive. While the game is challening at times, it is never a problem as you can always attempt the quests at a later time once you get stronger, it strikes a nice balance between skill and character growth

While the base game looks very affordable, the game is not fun without the dlcs which seem to include features and fun game mechanics that were supposed to be included in the base game to unlock everything the game was supposed to offer, it costs an exorbitant $130 usd at least, not including future dlcs which are set to continue to release for a few years, not to mention the possibility of the game becoming completely unplayable after a **** update which is what happened recently after "the great wave" that made the game run like a ppt. As of writing, the state of the game is completely ridiculous, i like the game but it doesnt matter if i litterally cant physically play it, as of now all my money is just wasted bc of a stupid update that made the game unplayable, bro i want a refund
