I will be completely and utterly honest. I don't think these are bad games. They're unarguably better than garbage that were both Pokemon X and Y and Pokemon Sun and Moon. However this game is undeniably lacking in so much pass content such as minigames, moves, Pokemon that follow you, MORE THAN HALF OF THE NATIONAL DEX, and so much more! Not to mention that there are tons of unpolished areas and bad graphics AND bad animations. The game itself other than the removed content is very run of the mill and is what we're kinda used to and have gotten used to for over two decades. The gameplay is slightly better than usually I guess, the story is also slightly better, and the characters this time around are way better than usual. I found most of them to be very well written and lovable characters. On a side note I really love the Wild Area and hope they bring it back for future entries but we all know they won't This game isn't that bad and more just an okay game. An easy 6/10...however like I said before this game has bad animations, bad graphics, more than half the National Dex removed, and it has nothing to show for all of these problems and missing content we love. I really have no choice but to give this game a 0/10. Hopefully the enhanced versions of these games that will come in a year or so will fix the problems of Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Dragon Quest 11 S is now currently my favorite JRPG and RPG in general of all time as of recent. The combat itself is very standard but the characters are extremely lovable and memorable, the world is open and vibrant with many huge and interesting areas to explore, and the story on surface is very generic but behind that thin layer is an amazing story that made me have two major epiphanies. Please PLEASE if you're looking for a good JRPG to play on Nintendo Switch pick this game up! Dragon Quest 11 S should arguably be up there with the likes of Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Hollow Knight tries to be a modern Metroidvania and exceeds greatly at it. Simple but very fun gameplay, extremely expansive lore, and amazing boss fights, huge areas that are intriguing to explore, and many different enemies to fight. One thing I don't like much however is the lack of many weapons and ways to attack. Unlike Casltlevania: Symphony of the Night or even Metroid. You got a standard sword that goes in many directions that's length you can extend and that's about it. No sub-weapons or entirely new weapons. Other than that it's an excellent experience.

By the 25th I will have owned this game for a year. This game is probably the most mediocre fighting game I've ever played. It's fun but takes a ton of skill to be good at but this game itself is not very good. Anime games are usually very lackluster but the thing that makes up for them is the fan service. What does this game have? **** a lackluster story mode. There aren't even that many characters and just for two you have to pay $20! Now with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate out that $60's this game costs would do much better going to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Currently Final Fantasy VII is now on pretty much every platform including PC, PS4, XBOX, Switch, and even iPhone/iPad now so I figured after recently completing FFVII I'd tell you all how much it holds up. The game has a very great cast of characters and it's worth getting all of them, very nice and intriguing arenas/towns, and a very fun combat system all topped off with a great soundtrack. Though there is obviously some poor aging but most of it has been fixed! For $16 it's not a bad ride. I'd say I got my money's worth!

This game is utter trash. Enough said. I basically got this game for free using one Nintendo Gold Point and I still somehow feel like I wasted money.

This game is an absolute breath of fresh air in JRPG genre and doesn't add any bullcrap that makes the game less fun. There are 8 characters and 8 story's with the weapons and powers varying from each. The new mechanics brought along with it the boost mechanic and the shield mechanic make this game very unique and fun. If you're not into JRPG's or just don't think this game is your cup of tea don't worry! There's a DEMO that lets you play three hours of the game to see if you think this game is for you.

If I'm being honest this game is lackluster. No side quests other than three and two just to get the Good Ending and the game your first time will take between 5 to 7 hours though surprisingly I surpassed that limit quite a bit thanks to the multiple endings. The things that make me love this game so much are the cool battle system, main story, comedy, and the feels. This game is very inexpensive so you ought to give this game a fair shot.

Sonic Mania alone was one of my favorite games of 2017 and is still my favorite 2D platformer of all time and Sonic Mania's Encore DLC had amplified it a bit. With 5 playable characters, a completely separate mode, and some extras if you like 2D platformser this game will keep you occupied for quite some time. The original Mania was $20 and the Encore DLC is only $5 so this games price alone tells you that this game is a steal. No matter the platform you should get this game!

I personally have never liked 3D platformers and collectathons but SMO has the be the greatest one I've played yet. It has a ton of unique and very fantastic worlds that allow the most creative way of traversing the levels thanks to Cappy and helping you transform into the enemy's. This was a GOTY contender so you already now that this game is very high quality.

Do I honestly really need to say anything? It was not only a GOTY contender but it was also the 2017 GOTY winner. Amazing open world gameplay and fun mechanics that'll keep you playing for hours packed with a truckload of things to do. This is a no-brainer to pick up as soon as you get a Nintendo Switch. Though the while the story is very lackluster I personally never play a game for the story unless it is story based and BOTW is almost all gameplay.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is one of the greatest games I've ever played and is one of my top picks on the Nintendo Switch. It's fun for both competitive and casual play with a ton of content in the form of Classic Mode, the Online, Adventure Mode, and a few side modes. With over 70 fighters it's no question that you should pick this up if you own a Nintendo Switch and if you don't already own one you should buy one now.
