The new models and textures look great and there are several QoL features like being able to equip and unequip the iron boots with a single press. While there is a charm to the original N64 version, this is my preferred way of playing Ocarina of Time.

The game isn't as visually stunning as the games that followed it. When it comes to the story it isn't as ambitious as later entries. Even so the combat and puzzles are still excellent. Not to mention the stellar soundtrack.

A flawless transition from 2D to full 3D. Kirby's wonderful offering of gameplay, story, graphics, and songs were still retained.

While the patches certainly elevated this game, the story has always been solid and the same goes for the visuals. The OST however is yet another banger soundtrack from the pink puffball.

The Robobot Armor is one of the greatest gimmicks ever. Not to mention the story which works both without additional context and with context. The mechanized Popstar and old enemies also look spectacular. The music is also a treat and kicks into high gear for the final boss battle.

A solid Kirby game with a solid gimmick in the form of the powerful hypernova. However the story isn't anything of note unless you dig around in the pause menu text.

Great level design and visuals accompanied by a stellar OST. Though the story doesn't offer anything new besides a change of pace in the final battle.

Not only is Bowser's Fury a spectacular addition, but the tweaks to the base game also brings more life to it.

An entriling adventure across many stunning kingdoms filled with fun gameplay. With a masterful OST to boot. Though the story like most Mario stories is decent.

Fun little rougelite extra mode, though it isn't as impressive as Octo Expansion.

As per usual the visuals are stunning and the OST is filled with bangers. However I can't rank this game higher due to all maps being made with competitive in mind and questionable updates. Not to mention that the story of the single player campaign is at its weakest.

An HD update can't elevate the lacklustre missions of the original. Besides the original graphics were pleasing to begin with.

While the mission structure is suited for the 3DS the missions themselves could have been better executed. Also while the boss fights are serviceable they are disapointments compared to the portait ghosts of the original. Though the visuals of the game look great.

Charmingly spooky this gem of a title gives Luigi his time in the spotlight.

Questionable directions taken with the story holds back an otherwise solid gameplay experience. If you look past the annoyingly long load times.

The larger cast of characters and their gameplay gimmicks could have been handled better, but overall Sly 3 is a solid game and conclusion to the PS2 trilogy.

You won't be bored when playing, but this game won't leave much of an impression either.

Stunning visuals combined with an exciting OST. The gameplay however is mostly reliant on the wonder effects, so if you want pure platforming you are better off playing another game.

This is as a standard of a 2D Mario game as you can get. Though you need to be aware that to turn off spinning by pressing the jump button you need to hold the left stick for three seconds on the title screen before pressing L+R to start the game. If succesful you should hear a Nabbit sound effect. It is a stupid design, but it does work.

Setting aside the pricing this is a collection of two breathtaking video games.

There is undeniably a lot of jank and you are going to tear your hair out if you try the hardest challenges. However the core platforming is still solid, the story is charming, the visuals are pleasing, and the OST is rich.

An impressive early transition from 2D to 3D with great levels and soundrtrack. However while the visuals are solid they haven't aged very gracefully.

The lack of an analouge stick is unfortunate but the new content offered is fun and even two messy control scheme can't hold Super Mario 64 too far down

Dynamax is a decent gimmick and the OST is a banger like usual. However the story is a jumbled mess and the visuals of the wild area leaves much to be desired.

Overall alright gameplay and writing carried by stunning visuals and a great OST.

A solid 2D Metroid that uses smokes and mirrors during the SA-X encounters to hide the limitations of the GameBoy Advance hardware.

Amazing game held back by a lacklustre soundtrack. The gameplay is fast and smooth, especially thanks to the introduction of the slide. The story has twist and turns with a brilliant climax. The graphics and art style are a treat for the eyes.

Aside from a few moments the story breaks old characters and lore beyond belief. As for the gameplay it is both impressive and messy. It is undeinable that Ultrahand and Zonai tech are stunning features to include on the weak Nintendo Switch. However they don't lend themselves very well to the combat, exploration, or puzzles Zelda is supposed to have. The saving graces of this game are the visuals and the soundtrack, which have to do a lot of heavy lifting.

A niche Zelda game packed with hours of fun. Really the shrinking gimmick is great and the pixel art is a treat for the eyes. However this game is held back the most by how much of a chore all the kinstones sidequests and how you need to gamble to get all the figurines. Still those chores aren't too detrimental due to being optional.

A charming little spin-off that while the 3DS servers were still up could be played with two other strangers online. Still the single player mode is serviceable, so the game is thankfully still playable. Serviceable is a nice word to sum up this game, though don't go into it thinking you are getting classic Zelda dungeons. While this game has puzzles it is mostly a gauntlet of enemies with puzzles inbetween than the puzzlebox design the series is known for.
