It's pretty much how you expect it to be, it's just a port of the original game. That aint exactly a bad thing though, Resident Evil 2 OG is still a banging game. I prefer the remake but OG2 is definitely the best of the original PS1 trilogy imo. It only gets a 9 because of no trophies, otherwise banging game.
I have some nostalgia for this, as a kid I thought it was a great game. Flying around hogwarts on the broomstick was awesome. As an adult though this game is so rough to play lol the controls are abysmal. I know it's a ps2 game but there are some ps2 and even ps1 games that I can still play and enjoy and this isn't one of them. Jeremy Soule's music is phenomenal in this game though.
If you already own the ps4 version, there's no need for you to buy this version. Still a fun game but only buy this if you never played the ps4 version.
One of the best PlayStation games. Still fun today In 2025. I'm not saying the game is easy but it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, considering it's an old game. This game is just a classic it's as simple as that. I have a fond memory of beating this game In one day as a kid, good times.
This review bombing is ridiculous. RE4 remake is better than the overrated original in every way and quite honestly one of the best games i've ever played. Everything they do here in this remake, all the changes they made is better than the original including Ashley who I hated before is now an awesome character who i genuinely cared about when she was in danger. Being able to run and shoot is so good, on my second playthrough right now. If you are at all interested in buying this game please do, it's an absolute masterpiece.
Not perfect but out of all these horror based asymmetrical games, Evil Dead The Game has got to be the best. I've never played Friday the 13th but I've seen gameplay to know that it's not for me and I've tried my hand at Dead By Daylight too just because I had it free on PS+ but I am not a fan of that game either. Evil Dead however is a **** blast. Can be very unfair and is an unbalanced experience right now but I'm sure the devs will patch that **** out.
