The game that we all became adults with, the game that delivered peak expectations and taught us how it's done in this industry. Although not what it could have become in the end, it shaped the gaming world for a whole decade and counting.
After playing Mafia 1 definitive edition you'd expect that the remade version of the sequel would be even better in terms of graphics and physics however that's not the case here. Still, I had tons of fun wandering through the city and feeling the vibes of it with the environment and the soundtrack on the radio. Despite the relatively low rating, I can with certainty say that Mafia 2 is one of my most favorite and loved games ever.
Mafia 1 also known as the GTA copy (which is kinda dumb) is an exceptional piece of gaming. It seriously baffles me that I never gave this game a chance until a year ago. Greatest turnaround I've ever done in gaming. Easily one of the best and most underrated story games ever.
Even if I tried I would never be able to convince anyone of how fantastic this game is. It's literally everything you can ask for. It's comfortable, easy and relaxing at all times. The devs really take care of it and it's easy to see through casual and gigantic dlc/updates. One of the few games you can get for less than 10 bucks and still have over a thousand of hours spent doing truck work.
Personally, and for many others as well,GTA4 is the best or second best game of the series. Incredible thematic and storytelling by Rockstar once more with so much more to add a few years after the previous release. Always a classic in my opinion and a must-play game for GTA geeks.
A game that's extremely fun with top notch soundtracks and fantastic graphics and combat. A well-rounded example of how a space game should be. Exciting in terms of showing the capabilities of next gen systems!
When I was a kid I hoped that this game would continue through its roots and make something of the massive fanbase that it had.A community of different nationalities and thousands of private servers that to this day keep the name of this game alive. Sadly, this game has always been p2w private or not and will always be because Gameforge and whoever else's behind it never saw a future with and other similar game of theirs. Maybe, in the very distant future we see a game with love and game leading mechanics in a title with the same thematic.
A good attempt at EA to finally come up with something even average and they managed just that. An alright game with some alright tracks on the radio and the casual disappointing/forgettable story mode(story who?)
A decent game with nice umf mechanics and combat system. Overall forgettable however as the game can be quite punishing at times. Decent scenery and graphics along with some beautiful soundtracks.
Warframe although free, is a game that doesn't allow you to learn the basics. There are no proper tutorial, no hints and a community that's quick to avoid you when asking for help on global chat. It's a massive chaos of just decently optimized graphics and an honestly alright combat system. It doesn't hold anything of surprise and you will be very bored very quickly unless you want a game to spit at you right from the start and let you figure out anything else. Soulframe's up and coming now soon and hopefully it won't be turned into the mess of the game Warframe has always been.
An overall great expansion to the world of Liberty City and personally it gave much more to my gaming needs than the original game. The PSP port was a thing of beauty and I can vividly remember myself spending tons of hours finding hidden spots of the map and other cool features the original game did not expand on. Would love to see a remastered version of this. even if it'd come attached with the original copy.
Personally GTA 3 for me introduced what 3d gaming could look like in the near future. A well rounded game for the time of its release with a bunch of cool features however having limited resources to work with it easily gets repetitive and is now easy to find out that it hasn't aged as gracefully as the other 2 parts of the 3d trilogy. Overall though, a massive nostalgia title for those born in the late 90s/ early 00s.
Peak gaming at its finest form. GTA San Andreas even to this very day has nothing to be jealous of modern triple A games. A fantastic story with amazing and deep characters. Maybe, for some as myself the true start of the legend that GTA has now turned out to be.
Generally speaking, an above decent Spongebob game which for the time being provided you with a good laugh and some simple mechanics. It did seem like an innovation at that time but it was surely a game to remember. A must play game for children of age as it will always be a solid ''platforming'' game.
Tony Hawk's American Wasteland is the epitomy of just GOOD skateboard gaming. For the time of its release it's definitely an incredible title with a lot of fun, having been showed a lot of love from its developers. It most certainly sparked love inside me, that I would never expect, let alone coming from a skateboard game!
Uncharted 2 is undoubtedly the reason why this franchise has become one of the most memorable pieces of gaming history. Exceptional storytelling and production let alone for a game that came out during the PS3 era. A must play for all gamers that are looking to expand their adventure with Nathan Drake.
Generally speaking, a fantastic experience for a relatively new souls player like myself. Great atmosphere accompanied by an incredible soundtrack. It really does feel like fromsoftware wanted us to have fun with the world and explore as much as possible. 100% a must play game for all gamers.
