The remake has really good graphics and solid gameplay. However, being the first Souls game, it feels quite simple compared to the newer games. The bosses are also quite simple, with basic move sets and not much variety. It is a good game, but can be finished fairly quickly.

I really enjoyed the story, and the gameplay is very solid. The combat feels great and there is a lot to explore. Some of the puzzles were a bit annoying, and some of the side quests felt too focused on following animals. Overall, I really enjoyed the game and its atmosphere.
