I bought this game with high expectations. I really loved FF Realm Reborn but this game is just a nightmare for anyone who doesn't have super limber fingers. The camera doesn't move with the character so you are constantly having to stop and use the D-pad to move the camera in the direction you are going. They just tried to add to many combat option to a system that really isn't designed for PC like combat commands. I never made it past the second Tutorial Quest because the game wouldn't spawn enough enemies to get the required number to trigger a Crystal Surge for me in the time allotted. On top of that I would loose about 50 res points before I could even get the camera moved in the direction I wanted to run. Game has potential but the controls are just dreadful. If you're like me and have Arthritic fingers don't buy this cause it will make your fingers start to hurt.

This game has tons of potential. Its like a Dark Souls 2D Side scroller. However it has a lot of work that needs to be done to it. Especially in regards to game mechanics Shadowflip Brand, and Dart Brand. The game, and story are pretty solid and immersive up til the Pitchwoods map, and then the Immersion just dies. The Developers at Ska Studios tried to make a challenging puzzle map using disappearing platforms that rely heavily on the use of the Shadowflip Brand and Dart Brand to navigate your way across savely. However those two mechanics don't always work as intended so the player will suffer a lot of deaths because of this, and most likely end up giving up on that part of the map. With being penalized gold for every death on top of the salt you accrue its like a double slap in the face to the player by the developers, and can cause hours of progression to be lost in a few short minutes because of this. On top of that the character animation for climbing depending on where you land actually takes longer than the platforms last causing unnecessary deaths for the player who has absolutely no control over it. The game has potential to be one of the best indi games on the market if they just patch out some of the unnecessary mechanics, and work on fixing the issues with the brands if they plan on keeping the disappearing platforms in the Pitchwood. They also might want to come up with an easier way for the player base to communicate with them as the homepage is easily mistaken as somebodies personal blog site which is really confusing when you're trying to find answers or give feed back, and using a form as the only means for players to contact them is kinda of lazy.

Why Square Enix thought it would be a brilliant idea to lock the entire expansion behind a years worth of content before players like myself who left after running out of things to do in the vanilla game is beyond me. I completely wasted my money buying this DLC as I never even reached Heavensward because of burning out waiting two to three hours in que for the blasted dungeons that they so annoying force onto the player by locking the story lines progression behind them. Simple to much effort to reach the new content to be worth the money I spent. I keep the game as a reminder to never buy into another one of this franchise's expansions again.

Fallout 4 was my most anticipated game of next gen. That is until I met Preston. Why Bethesda thought it would be a good idea to add someone like him into the game that claims he's a follower but all he does is give you commands to save this settlement, and save settlement is beyond me. Way to much time was put into making settlements busy work to keep the players busy. It wouldn't have been so bad if the residence of one of what felt like an endless amount of would at least show some gratitude towards you. However they treat you most of the time less than a raider yet are always needing your help. I had 20 settlements before even reaching the mid point of the game, and by that time I was wasting two hours dealing with all the issues each settlement had, that by the time I was done I just didn't care about the main quest line anymore. Fallout 4 basically turned into a more violent version of Sims 4.

I wanted to love this game but the character models were atrocious. There is absolutely no reason a next gen game should have 8 different buzz cut hair styles for characters. On top of that you couldn't even make a female character that looked female, and Bioware acted like a bunch of spoiled diva's anytime you tried to confront them about it on the forums with threats of being banned. Guess they aren't as open minded as they claim to be. The best thing that could've happened to Bioware was David Gaider leaving. Unfortunately it didn't happen soon enough as he tainted the Dragon Age series. On top of that patching out anything that gave the player a chance to actually enjoy all aspects of the game for reason really showed how Bioware really thinks of its player base, and I will no longer be supporting any future projects by them.

Just Cause 3 is a okay game if you are interested in repetitive game play. The control are incredible difficult to master if you aren't familiar with the franchise, and much like the Dark Knight series you are going to replay the timed events over and over and over because of the game controls. The new grapple is confusing as the games controls say to hit L1 but doesn't tell you that you need to actually tap L1 quickly or you are going to just launch tethers out over and over. The Wing gliding is insanely difficult to even master the basic mechanics of it without face planting to your death a hundred times over, and the vehicles you use during races have such sensitive suspension hitting a small rock can send you air born. Don't expect a deep, and fulling story either as the game's main focus is just destroying things. Ultimately this could've been a much more user friendly game if there were a dozen different controller schemes you need to remember for every type of vehicle used in the game in addition to your new grapple, wing glider and using the parachute. So its a decent game with overly complicated controls.

I bought this game first on PS4 Digitally during the Flash sale during Valentines. Played fine for a week before it started to crash using Quick Save, then auto-saves started to make it crash, and eventually manual saves caused it to crash. I ended up getting a refund from PSN because it became unplayable. Made the mistake of going out and buying a hard copy of the game, and just like the Digital version it played fine for about 5 hours before it began crashing anytime the game saved. Its a really fun game with wonderful graphic but wasn't quality tested enough when it was converted to PS4. There is absolutely no excuse for a game to crash during of all things when saving. Saving the game is the thing you to do not loose your progression not being the main cause of it. In addition to that getting absolutely no response by the games developer in regards to these issues made it even worse. So I ended up dropping around a 100 bucks on two copies of the game that both became unplayable do to game breaking crashes focused around the games saving mechanic. Not exactly the quality you'd expect from a game that claims to have won 150 awards. Sadly even if they do eventually patch the issue the game has left a traumatic affect on me that cause me to never support this game developer again in the future.
