Genuinely my favorite Lego game. And I think it should be in the conversation for best Lego game, too. There were so many things that started with this game. It was the first game with the open world style that's still being used. While it only has half the level count of the first game, every level is significantly longer and more unique and fleshed out when compared to the first game's usually bite-sized levels in comparison. Also there's voice acting in this one, which, love it or hate it, became a staple of the Lego game series moving forward. The story is surprisingly really fun, too. This game is very story heavy for a Lego game, and I'm all for it. This game is so story focused that they basically just redid the cutscenes and released it as its own made for TV movie. One thing that people don't sing the praises enough of in this game is by far the music. Unlike the first game which just exclusively reused tracks from the Burton Batman films, this game uses the motifs and makes an original score based around them. A definite highlight is the final boss music. The suits are all fun, as well. Unlike the first game, I don't think there's a single dud in the bunch. The justice league are here, and they're absolutely amazing personality and gameplay wise. Overall, this game is a great time and I would recommend it to anybody who is even remotely interested. If you come across a cheap copy on any platform you can play it on, pick it up.

I was initially afraid to touch the game because **** **** now that I have. I can say that AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. This game is terrible. Easily, the worst game featuring Diddy Kong. First off, all of the tracks might as well be the same. No one cares what track that you're on. No one's gonna be like, "I REALLY LIKE THE DESIGN OF THIS ONE. I LIKE THE EVER SO SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT PLACEMENT OF THE BARRELS IN MT. DYNAMITE REMIX RATHER THAN JUST MT. DYNAMITE.". And, it's painfully obvious that this game was made to be played with the bongos. Which is why this game is not compatible with the bongos. Which, I'm sorry. That's just dumb.

I mean... It's fine I guess. I get why people like it, it's just that it needs MORE. DIDDY KONG.
