On the pitch is where PES shines and that's all that matters in football games. It's realism is unmatched and every goal is possible. FIFA may be the better game all around, but PES is the far superior football game.

A rough one so far. Aside from the game being a bit better than AO Tennis, there are too many problems with it´s gameplay. The mechanics seem buggy and glitches are all over the place . The positive thing is, the potential is there. With the correct after marketing, this game could be somewhat of a worthy successor to the Top Spin series. However, don´t expect that to happen within the next couple of days. The devs have promised a big patch to come out, and hopefully it will fix majority of the issues. The movement has potential, the volleys look pretty good in terms of animation and the forehand and backhand grips are mostly correct. I understand why reviewers are holding off untill the patch releases to pass judgement.

Most of the reviewers are spot on with their arguments. AO Tennis, or AO International Tennis now, is a huge mess. The build up to the initial AO Tennis release already went too far. The promise of ten years of data tracking became major bull when the first gameplay became available to watch on youtube. But the worst thing was the lack of any gameplay prior to the release of the game. It made buyers all over the world suspecious, and unfortunately all our worst dreams came true. As tennis fans (and players), you have an eye for the little details that make tennis authentic and real. The movements, the player ID, it's all off. Leg movement transitioning into a swing is way off, and the ball trajectory is absolutely ridiculous. I'll give this a 2 because Big Ant did try really hard to make it better. But this should have never seen the light of day. Hopefully, seeing as Tennis World Tour doesn't look all too promising either, some company will step up and do us tennis fans justice somewhat..

On the pitch, where it matters most, is where PES easily outshines FIFA. Since 2011 i've been stuck with EA and even supported the game but this year PES is back for me. Probably because i'm a PC user of course, but that doesn't take away from the fact that the game this year plays brilliantly. The passing alone is enough to make PES the best choice when it comes to feeling the great game of football. The modes are a bit stiff and loading screens aren't very quick. But playing a match can be so satisfying, or frustrating, that it feels like you wanna enter the pitch yourself and play alongside your virtual partners. The ball feels heavy, animations are fluid and realistic and your brain needs to work for a match to be won. I suggest everyone to try it this year. Stop looking for online modes, gimmicks and such and just play the game.

I played the demo and i'm waiting for the full game, but how can people who are used to playing this game on PC rate this **** below 6? This feels like going from FIFA 13 to FIFA 15 and not 14 to 15. Finally we get the next gen version. The graphics are amazing, the animations are far better, not perfect by any means though, but it's getting there. I rate this a 10 because i finally feel like i can say i enjoy FIFA more than PES.
