Resident Evil HD Remaster5

Resident Evil is most certainly a game that belongs back in the 90s. It's no longer scary, the dialogue is terrible, the controls are terrible, and the item management is horrendous. On top of that, bringing it to a portable console is just madness. With any portable console game developers need to take battery life into account, and they haven't. Ink ribbons are hard to come by, so using one to save 30 minutes progress while on a train or having a longer play session, seeing your red battery light come on and having no ink ribbons or a typewriter to save is simply unforgivable. This will always be a "classic" and will be alot of people's first ever memory of the survival horror genre, but you want to battle against the games puzzles and enemies, not the controls or inventory management. You can't even drop items. For dienhard fans of the original only. And even then, you might wonder why you even enjoyed it.

I'm pretty sure most people buying this game are expecting to be able to use their expensive drum with it. You can't use this in adventure mode, aka the only reason to own the game. Unless it gets patched to work with the drum don't waste your money on this

Easily the worst game in the franchise. The open wolrd elements just drag out what's already a pretty dull and uninspired effort that more than outstays it's welcome. New mechanics don't really add much to the game and most boss fights are more tedious than ever.

Bought as a Multiplayer game, but despite its promise of battling big Monsters with friends, this is barely a multiplayer game at all. You can only join quests with others providing you've already done them in single player, do you basically have to finish the entire 80 story solo to enjoy this game. It's easily the most being single player experience I've ever had. Terrible game.

GTA online has become hands down to worst experience in gaming that anyone can have. Every server is full of sad lonely people who've pumped crazy amounts of real money in, just so they can ignore every part of the game me just spend time on flying bike armed with homing missiles killing anyone that moves. You can set up private servers or play in passive mode, but the restrictions this places on what you can actually do just makes it not worth your time. Was moderately fun 6 years ago, now is just a broken mess for a trolls. Don't waste your money.

Nice idea, poor execution. The stretches are a waste of time, detection on the punches it totally hit and miss, the tech simply isn't capable of doing what it needs to do for this sort a game. The instructions aren't great either, the trainer gets her left and right mixed up constantly, there's barely anything about correct form and how much power to put in. It's just an injury waiting to happen. Avoid

FIFA 20 on Switch isn't a terrible game. However it most certainly is the worst FIFA game on a home console since Fifa 06. Aside from the fact that they dont particularly advertise that well that's it's the same game as the previous 2 with team updates and also offer no dlc update to previous owners, it has many other flaws too. The career mode is decent but unfortunately on the pitch it just isnt that much fun. Theres a distinct lack of ball control, making it all rather scrappy. The biggest problem however is FUT. One of the best modes in any FIFA game has been in desperate need of attention on Switch. This is simply because without real money, it cant be played for long. The high price of contracts (200 per game, as opposed to 200 per 13 games in previous editions on other consoles) means that it's just a matter of time before you are overwhelmed with players out of contract and you simply cant play anymore. Even with the +400 per game and + 3k per end of season, you're likely losing -11k per season. One day a company will show some respect to football fans on switch and give them the game they deserve. Until then it's just poor fifa and poor football manager ports.

A decent enough game that's ruined a bit too much by dodgy controls, terrible ranged weapon targeting and poor platforming. Had all this stuff been tight then the difficulty of starting a level with the little health you finished the last one could have been forgiven, but it just makes a game you dont really want to play, take longer.

I've tried to press on with this game since I got it. I really wanted to play a JRPG on switch, bur after iver a year I'm done with it. It's got to be the most boring lazy JRPG I've ever played. Everything about it is just generic and dull. The story and the characters are just nit intersting, the dialogue is uninspired, the art style is awful. Everywhere is jusy boring white snow. The battles go on far too long for when all you can do is use your one attack or heal. The monsters look like generic monsters from other games. If anyone enjoyed this its because it was the only JRPG on switch and one of the only games. It no longer is, dont throw your money away.

PixelJunk Monsters 26
May 27, 2018
I was a really big fan of the first game. I'd put it right up there with Starship Patrol on DS and Field Runners 2 /Bloon 5 on ipad as my all time favourite tower defence. My 1 issue with the first pixel junk game is that it could have possibly done with a speed up button. Pixel Junk 2 not only doesn't have the speed up button either, but it's even slower than the first game. There are times when i've just put the controller down and started doing something on my phone to occupy my boredom while the game plays itself. To make matters worse, their also doesn't seem to be a run button like their was in the first game, so not only is the game play even slower, so is your character. I'm not too keen on the graphic change, i associate 2d with pixel junk, this doesnt seem to fit in with their style at all. Looks really generic now. If the developers add a fast forward button in a later update I'd reconsider the score, but as it is, it's slow speed and lack of challenge are sending me to sleep, I don't think my boredom will let me get to the later levels and difficulties.

Good game if you've got a friend to play with, but toxic if you're on your own. Either spend 10 to 15 minutes getting rammed and insulted by your team mate or leave early and get a 5 minute ban. Alternatively play unranked where zero match making exists and you'll spend the majority of the game playing with bots. It'll be a great game when they start banning the people ruining it instead of those trying to enjoy it. You can even just hold down accelerate and change channel, you get banned for that too. The devs want you to be as miserable as possible for as long as possible. If your a parent, for the love of god dont let your parents play such a toxic environment. If they insist, I woul strongly advise turning chat off.

I'm a big fan of pure platformers, but I felt this particular game just tried a bit too much to be something special. The story mode was great playing it through took about 5-6 hours and I really loved it. But I wanted some replayability and for me this game doesn't really have that. I enjoyed going back to the first world to get collectibles I'd missed and doing the bside and any other bsides id stumbled on along the way, but alot of the worlds just arent fun to explore. I dont want to have to jump into every part of every wall on ever level, well also being chased by something that will kill me if there isnt a hidden area there. Too much of the games best content is hidden away and most will get bored trying to find it. Would have been a better game if you could just pick your level like super meat boy and if things werent hidden.

Tried the first game on 3ds but gave up after 20 odd hours of running round lost. Gave X about 4 hours on wi u but couldn’t get into it at all. The story and the characters of this one however had me hooked long enough to learn all the mechanism I really enjoy the battle and upgrade systems. Took around 60 hours to finish and it’s the first JRPG that isn’t a pokemon game that I’ve finished since FFVII. It’s not perfect, there’s a lot to learn, to the point where I didn’t get how affinity was even represented until, the last battle. The voice acting is mixed, mainly the main character who’s a bit annoying and Cheesey. The map and level design will frustrate you at time, the platforming mechanics are poor and unfortunately there are areas where you need to walk narrow paths or time jumps. But aside from all this, it’s an absolutely amazing game, one that after 20 hours in I couldn’t put down.

Fire Emblem Fates: Special Edition10
Jan 10, 2018
For a while i thought Fire Emblem Awakening was the best fire emblem game, even during my playthrough of Fire Emblem Fates, But going back to awakening I realise how good Fates was. I've played every Fire Emblem game that got a western release, and even a couple of the japanese ones with patch translations, over the last 5 years, and this one is hands down my favourite. First of all, its massive, with 3 different branches to play through. Other Fire Emblem games have had a branch split, but not as many as this one. I prefer the unbreakable weapons, that have positive and negatives, to other fire emblem games breakable weapons, although I think they're both good in their own right. The story in Fates is easily the best one too, most are pretty forgettable, I did enjoy Awakenings time travel story line, but Fates is a much more emotional investment, which honestly is what Fire Emblem is all about, you want to care about the characters, because then it leave you in more of a predicament when they die near the end of a really tough level, do you take the hit or do you restart the level and hope you can do a better job. The most important aspect though, that makes this the best game in the series, is the level design. The level design is so much better than any other game in series, and because there are so many levels this is even more impressive. The rest of the games seem pretty linear in comparison, sure there's the odd memorable level, but the ones in fates are just so well done, your not just having to strategise against the AI, but you're also battling against the changing in environments around you. This isn't just my favourite Fire Emblem game, this is my all time favourite game. I'm not rating this game a 10 to counter balance the negative reviews, this game is 10, period.

2k developers should feel ashamed of the self, I guarantee none of them are going to put this game on their CV. It's yet another lazy cash in of a now extremely dated game. The PvsP games really improved a couple of years back with the reversal stock system, but since then It has remained stagnant. Firstly let's get the positives out of the way, it looks it bit nicer, and they added 8 man matches. They didn't bother to actually add survivor series matches, but with the match editor, 2k will at let you make the matches they were too lazy to add. Now onto the negatives, it's pretty much the same negatives as the last few years but with pout the poisitives: Awful commentary, Glitches galore, tedious my career mode, pretty much just a sandbox game (imagine FIFA if no one played online and you only had the exhibition option), and then to top it all off, the sandbox, the games only real selling point that the community can share CAWs as to make dream matches or just recreate some nostalgia, is constantly locked behind a paywall of dlc. All the characters that any older fan who doesn't have time to spend endless ours unlocking through the most tedious means possible is expected to pay extra amounts to unlock these wrestlers from the get go. Loyal fans of the series will continue to buy it, and continue to say it's the best game ever in order to trick others into buying it so they have the slightest hope at playing a game online, but deep down the guys giving in 10s know that this is dire. Hopefully one day a decent company will be in charge of WWE games, but until then we'all just get more of this rubbish from the joke of a company that is 2k.

I don't really like giving things a 10, but literally my only complaint with this game was that finished it and wanted more. But 10 hours for 15 quid is a solid return. I'd love steamworld dig 3 to be absolutely huge. The art style is gorgeous, the music and atmosphere is perfect, digging for teasure is tonnes of fun, the levelling up system, the puzzles, boss fights. All of it, no complaints. This is by far the best mega man game. Always loved the series growing up, in particular 2, but this is just everything they were and more. The weapon customisation options mean you can make the game as difficult or as easy as you like, as does the collection of fruit you can amass. I think this allowz both new comers to this sort of game to survive and pros of the genre to be challenged. The boss fights leave you with a real sense of accomplishment after numerois failed attempts, the levels have that classic mega man charm with some more intersting mechanics here and there, and theres plenty of hidden secret to be found. The soundtrack is awesome. If you like a challenge and like mega man you wont go away dissapointed. Ignore any reviews about it being too easy, its just people trying to seem cool.

Unsuprisingly fifa continues to get worse each year. Pay to win is so much in effect that you're surprised they dont have an auction during the match to see who wins it. The players are as toxic as ever, and ea still hasnt added a reporting system or banning system to people who just stick their torrent downloads om max when they're losing knocking the framte rate down to 1 FPS, ultimate still has no forfeit option that doesnt count as disconnecting, rocket league is miles ahead of fifa in this area, in fifa if you come up against some millionairre who had all the best players you just have to sit their and get batterred for 20 minutes. Defending is pretty much automated now, you literally just have to stand their and wait for the ai to get the ball back. The worst fifa game in years. Looks nice and is still better than pes but that just tells you had bad football games are becoming.

FIFA 18 is pretty weird if you're used to FIFA games. The gameplay if like a weird mashup of pes and fifa. There a distinct lack of control, AI never seems to get into good space and keep possession more than 3 passes is pretty much impossible. There's no slow build up play here. The games lacking a few modes but the only things I really noticed were the Ultamte team daily challenges, the ea catalog thing and that the new on the fly substition and pausing queuing weren't included. All of which there's no reason for other than just lazyness. It's by far the best portable package of fifa, however on pitch its one of the worst FIFAs I can remember playing. If you like PES you'll probably like it. Honestly the Wii U version was more fun than this, this just has ultimate team and that didn't. Beware of the people giving it 10s. They probably work for EA. No one can honestly believe this is a perfect version of FIFA.

Screen cheat is basically an expierment that went wrong. It's someone asking the question "i wonder what a game where you have to look at the other persons screen to figure out where they are would be like" and the answer is "it would be a terrible game. It's not particularly poorly made nor does it control particularly badly. For its own genre is probably a solid game, but its own made up genre just makes for a boring frustrsting game.

Ironcast7
Aug 17, 2017
First off let me begin by saying this isnt a match 3 game in the slightest. I mean for a start you can match 2, but genrally a match 3 game consist of swapping around a couple of colours on a board to match 3 or more items creating combos etc. None of that is present here. At it core iron cast is a rogue micro management strategy game with elements of puzzle and rpg in it. I'll break down each element. The good Micro management - It reminds me a little or artemis bridge simulator but on a more basic single player scale. You've got 4 systems you can repair, you've got shield and movement to manage as well as weapons to fire. Strategy - So the strategy comes in at how you micro manage these system. You can only use a handful per turn, so you attack the oppoents shields or weapons? Do you up your movement until your evasive enough do dodge most attacks? Similar to turn based rpg strategies. Rpg - As well rpg like battles you also level up, unlock new abilities, upgrade your mech and make decisions in dialogue that affect the outcome of a mission. Now onto bad Puzzle - It probably should be a match 3 game. It looks like one, the grid takes up most of the whole screen, but really all your doing is deciding which power ups you want and how many. Its not really a puzzle, just looks like one. Rogue like/permadeath- This for me is the games biggest flaw. When i saw the words permadeath, being a big fire emblem fan, I was excited. But it does bring in the emotion of losing your favourite mech that permadeath does. It basically just means yoh lose the game you have to restart from the begining. Even fire emblem isnt that cruel. Sure plenty of rogue likes do this, binding of isaac, rogue legacy etc. But they're fun at the start and they're well made diverse rogue likes, this game isnt, you are going to have to replay the same boring early missions over and over and over. Overall its an addictive couple of hours here, but after 3-4 lost mechs it's **** developers dont want you to keep playing

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia7
Jul 27, 2017
The worst fire emblem title in years. I get it, it's a remake of a classic fire emblem so doesn't have all the new stuff, but the game has come along way in 25 years. The graphics look great outside of the actual battles, but the battle themselves look much in need if update, more akin to shadow dragon than any of the more modern titles. Even the art style of the game boy advance games was more pleasant than this. All the troops looks sametpy which makes them hard to care about. The battles the self are just lacking so more depth that any previous game I've played in the series offers (aka everything that came out in the west). The 3rd person exploration bits are like something about of the persona games, except they feel even clunkier to control and just out of place in a game like this. I rushed the 3rd story of fates due to how soon after this game came out (a year isn't long to play essentially 3 fire emblem games) and wish I hadn't, because even the story can't be save this game. A huge dip in quality for fire emblem and a game that was probably too faithful to the original. Only for die hard fans and even then you'll probably be dissatisfied.

Splatoon 27
Jul 21, 2017
A good game let down by lack of improvements. No amount of polish and digits at the end of the title can fool anyone here. This is just spaltoon 1 again. The improvements that the first one needed arent here and the fact that you no longer have the second screen map make this feel like the prequel. If you played the first game you'll be frustrated yet again, having to get to level 10 (at least a dozen hours) of the dullest mode the game has to offer to be able to play the fun stuff. On top of that there is still no replay to show you how you died, you still have to come offline to change your load outs, and no new gameplay elements seem to have been introduced. On top of all this there is still no voice chat, sure you can use youe phone and the nintendo app to voice chat, but i can only use my phone and facetime whilst playing this game, doesnt mean this game has video chat now does it. A lazy effort alround by nintendo.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe8
May 8, 2017
Good game ruined by bad AI. If you're playing with friends or online mario kart 8 is a great game, tonnes of tracks, tonnes of modes, and the 200cc mode is excellent. If however you're going to play single player, you're not going to have a very rewarding experience. There are no new tracks or characters really to unlock, your just playing for trophies and stars. 50cc and 100cc are boringly easy, 150cc now seems defunct because of the far superielor 200cc where you actually need to breaking during your drifts. Time trials are pretty fun, but the GP is just an infuriatinf mess most of time. Probably the worst since mario kart 64 (where ai controlled cars would go faster if you over took them preventing you getting a substantial lead.) What makes mario kart 8 gp so bad is the number of cars, theres 12 in a race and they are all gunning for you. You can pretty much predict the order that they'll all finish every race, which is annoying when you don't win a cup after being hammered by everyone on the last lap, even though you placed 1st in the other races. Double dash still remains the best in the series in terms of gameplay. This one is by far the best in terms of content though.

Shovel Knight8
Apr 25, 2017
Mostly a great game with a lot of throw back to classic nes platformers. However there's a fine line between challenging game play and trolling, and unfortunately shovel knight crosses it a few too many times, especially the later plague knight levels. Also I think the level designers seem to think the controls are better than they are, and opted for a 2 button system. This often becomes problematic when your mid jump and all of a sudden you character uses their special power because yor thumb leaned on down ever so slightly. A frustrating design which could easily have been resolved by mapping it a different button. Not an issue in the shovel knight campaign as you can just unequip your magic, but for some reason they dont give you the option in the plague knight campaign Great at times but flawed. Spectre knight - 7/10 - great story, fun but not challenging in the slightest Shovel knight - 9/10 - perfect balance of fun and challenging. Could have used 1-2 more.levels Plague knight - 7.5/10 - Some really tricky challenges, but dull story and let down by the controls

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild10
Mar 21, 2017
This game is not perfect 10, but its much better than a 9 so I'm having to round up. This game is like no other zelda game that has come before it, personally I've never been a fan of open world games baring the GTA games, as they're usually just big for the sake of big. But with breath of the wild exploring it is more fun than the actual story itself. The main quest is fairly poor by zelda standards, the plot it very generic, the traditional pre boss dungeons are simple and dull, and all 5 bosses don't requite much skil, just the right equipment. I don't think I ever quite figured out the perfect dodge mechanism or the timed shield block. The fact that I'm praising this game inspite of that should tell you how good the rest of the game is. The huge ammount of shrines create some of the most memorable moments in gaming I've ever experienced. The lack of hand holding and how quick the game starts is refreshing, the combat is great, (not quite as inventive as skyward sword, but much less frustrsting) but most importantly rhe game creates a feeling of adventurousness that I haven't felt since I was a child. Never has a single player game felt like such a multiplayer experience, if I'm not playing it I'm sharing stories with friends about our unique experiences and the adventures we've been on. The pokemon go phenomenon is the only other experience within games where i've encountered this before. The only sad part is, I'll probably never play a better game again.

The main problem with this game is the lack of value. I believe it retails at 59.99, i managed to get it for 34.99 but it still isnt even worth that. The single player story is poor, barely challenging and barely fun, alone or as co-op. Multiplayer is OK at best, but there are better bomberman games that camw out 25 years ago with better gameplay, better level design and a better art style than this. Super bomberman 2 hd at 20 quid would have been over priced but way more worth your time than this

I like the game, but I'm not really sure how I'm supposed to enjoy it. Previous games have had showcase most or something, but this has nothing. The single player just consists of the same boring grindy career mode it's been for years, and the WWE Universe mode which I assume is aimed at young children, it's just full of long loading times, and matches I don't care about. And don't even bother trying to get a game online, I've not managed to find one in the series in about 9 years. If you've got friends who are into wrestling games then i imagine it's pretty fun competitively, and the backstage segments are fun, but otherwise I wouldn't waste your time. Maybe next year they'll give us something to do rather than just keep working on a toybox was infinite loading times

Oct 13, 2016
If you've never played Rez before, where have you been, it was a brilliant dreamcast game. However, that was 16 years ago, and nothing seems to have really changed about this game since then to warrant it costing £25, i'm sure Rez HD on the xbox 360 was much cheaper than this. This is just a simple PS VR cash in, and not a very good one at that. Other than a lovely headache, there's not really anything you get out of playing this in VR that you just get playing in on a normal tv with the lights off and the volume up. If you've purchased PS VR you want experience thing you can't experience by other means. Rez Infinite, you totally can, and have been able to for 16 years. It was a good, if not slightly overated game back in the dreamcast era, but games are alot better now

When it comes to a one on one game, this is the best football game ever made. I don't see how their can be any argument about that. It's hard to talk about this game with talking about it's competitor or explaining when you got into each series to try and give yourself some credability, but i'll try not to. I do feel that all those people that stuck with pes when everyone began to jumpship are the equivilant to those now not playing it. What this games lacks in licenses and a fancy new career mode it makes up with gameplay. As you begin to play it for the first time you notice new ways to craft a shot that you just havent seen before, adding more strategies and moe dimensions to the game. My only downside of it is that not enough people are playing it yet so getting an online game isnt quite as speedy as fut. If your a true football fan you need to have this game, and i really dont see why you cant also have fifa, it's not like rpg fans would only get fallout and ignore skyrim.

I really wanted to give this game a high score because it is a good game. But it has to be compared to the original and unfortunatley it doesn't live up to that. For me the main problems with the original weren't that big. Sometimes you didnt always grab a drain pipe when jumping into it, the story was average and the combat was pointless. In this sequel they got it reslly wrong. The whole place seems even more bland looking than the original. The story is really boring and generic, the open world just means that your either getting lost or trying to follow a red line which ends up feeling even more linear, faith seems to move at a slower pace, the combat is just stupid, mirros edge doesnt need any combat!! And there just arent enough cool memorable levels. It's still a good game, but i feel they've tried to cater more to the people who didnt like the first one, alienating their fanbase. Its good still but just play the first one again

Not better than FIFA, just different. I'm not quite sure why PES has got so much hype this year, but make no mistake this is not the best football game to date, and if it is that speaks volmues about how bad football games are. You wont score scorchers in this games, pretty much every goal you see with be a finess shot around the terrible goal keepers. And theres no value in a goal and the default matches are so long that you can expect to at least 6 per match. FIFA has gone overboard with ball control in recent years, but PES makes you feel like your trying to play in a pair of clogs. Try and hold up the ball and you'll be dispossessed with ease, with players having no strength. And every single tackle results in the same tired animation and your player unneccassarily out of action for too long. If your bored of FIFA lack of improvements in the past 3-4 years then i'm sure PES will feel new and exciting, but its not the new king, its just a football game thats flawed differently. Lack of a roster update is the biggest slap in the face by this game. Clesrly rushed into shops to try and best it's rival to be out first have cost it dearly. No one who gets a new football game every season wants to olsy with last years teams, not even the early transfers like Gerrard have been address. Fifa fans will tell you thats better, PES fans will tell you this is better. Football fans will tell you they want something new, and neither franchise can offer a better game than something that came out 5 years ago. Reviews tell you its a win for PES but its yet another loss for football.

Wasn't sure I was going to like this game, as I've played a few NES games via the 3DS ambassador and thought they didn't hold up anymore, however NES remix is a great takes on breathing life into these games. Very addicitve, challenging without getting boring, and an absolute bargain at 9 quid. Plenty to unlock and plenty of stars to grab

I'm not a big zombie game fan, but there's a lot of fun to be had in the game. It looks good, and plays good. Just wandering around finding blueprints and making crazy weapons to beat up zombies is an absolute blast. A few nods to Capcoms Street Fighter franchise exist in the weapons, and I'm sure there are others to find too. Great launch game.

A true launch title, clearly just a port of the 360 version. The graphics look last gen compared to the other launch games and the gameplay is the same as always. COD has been getting stale for years now, and this edition is no exception. If you loved the last game and just wanted more then you'll most likely love this one too. If you got bored of COD a long time ago, now is still not the time to return to it.

Another excellent edition of FIFA. Easily the best launch game for the Xbox One. The fact that it was given free with a lot of consoles means that even with a low install base there's plenty of online play. It doesn't seem to play massively different from the PS3 version, although load time are lots faster, the graphics look better and the use of voice commands is a fun and time saving tool.

You'd have to really love wrestling to enjoy this game. It's selling point it basically The Streak mode and 30 Years of wrestlemania mode. Other than that you've played this game before. The gameplay is still as average as ever and the online world is still full of people with no interest in playing a fun game, but just winning by the most boring move spamming ways possible. Why you want to be ranked highly in a game that sports about 30 people online at once at it's peak is beyond me. Wrestling fans will continue to have to wait for a decent competitive game, this is not it. 7 out of 10 for me, but I'd imagine if you're a lot younger and have no nostalgia from the early wrestle manias, you're probably not going to enjoy this all that much. WWE 13's Attidtude Era stuff was a lot more fun, WWE 12's gameplay was a lot better (i think that was the one where you could easily counter running moves) One good thing is the servers seem to be a lot better. They're still complete and utter rubbish compared to most games, but I managed to download about 40 wrestlers in an hour, last year that would have taken me months of pain and fury.

The buggiest game I've played in years. At its core there is a brilliant game in here somewhere. When it does work it's a great game that's great fun and far more so than any other open world game. However, this game is bugged beyond belief. Clearly it was rushed out to try and come out before people invested in next gen consoles and it really shows. The game crashes during installs, it crashes during loading, it'll freeze as your driving down the street, your character will carry invisible weapons, you'll drive through walls that shouldn't be there. And this is just the story mode, lets not even talk about the horror that is the online mode. It's the sort of release that I'm sure will highly benefit from the fact that you can release patch for consoles in the modern era. But if this game had come out on Playstation 2 like this, the franchise would be dead,

Highly overrated game. It's just a poor mans uncharted. Graphics are stunning, and for the first hour or so the game play is fairly enjoyable. But then it's just Lara vs about 20 guys over and over, with the developers seemingly running out of creative ideas for these set pieces other than throw in a couple more baddies or giving them better weapons. The strategy is same and repetitive through out, little to no variation of how to approach each set piece. Bravo to those that finished the game, because boredom sets in about a third of the way through when puzzles and platforming become minimal and replaced with mind numbing boring duck and cover shooting that has been done to death on this generation of consoles.

Absolutley brilliant game. Tops my 3DS games chart with nearly 80 hours racked up on before finally beating the story mode. The story is pretty good, as are the graphics, but it's the gameplay that really makes this game so good. Incredibly addictive, and tonnes of replayability. Haven't played a Fire Emblem game before, but after this I certainly want more. Easily the best handheld game on the 3DS, and probably the best handheld game ever made. And Fredrick, Cheers Bro.

Overall, not a bad game, but not a great one either. A good story is ruined by below average combat and the worst driving in any game ever. Also there are tonnes of bugs that should have been ironed out, from a couple of hours in I just wanted the game to end so I could move on to the good mass effect games. Don't play unless your desperate to do the full trilogy.
