I've played through Demon's Souls and both Dark Souls games and loved them. Bloodborne takes the core game play and feel of these games and creates something entirely new and interesting. Unlike Dark Souls 2 which was a bit lackluster, Bloodborne doesn't try to rehash the same things, but creates a whole new universe with amazing atmosphere that will pull you right in. The dark Victorian style works really well and contrary to early criticisms, the use of guns fits right in. This game gave me some of the most intense fights I remember in a Fromsoft game. This is a fantastic game and very deserving of a 9/10.

This game looked like it might have had some potential as a bloody slaughter fest and just all around fun fighting game but was completely wasted. I thought it was gonna be all hype like MK 9 but instead i got a tech demo for a never released Barbie game. I'll give this game a 2/10 because of the incredible music but that's really the only great thing about it. Overall, terrible game play, ugly visuals, and a limited roster of uninspired, generic characters.
