Sonic Generations9
Nov 3, 2011
I have to admit, I didn't expect much from Sonic Generations and thought that the developers are gonna fail again.I'm glad to say that my expectations didn't come true. I can't even remember the last time I enjoyed a Sonic game, probably the 3rd one it was. I was afraid that mixing 2D gameplay with 3D would still **** as all previous attempts to bring the blue hedgehog in 3D. It's very difficult for me to say it, but even the 3D portion of the game is actually GOOD. The controls are smooth (I use a gamepad, so I don't know how is it with the keyboard), level design is pretty smart, and the game just flows, changing dimensions in a way that it feels right and normal. Graphics is good enough, runs without glitches on my laptop. So, Sonic is back. After many painfully bad games, we finally get a Sonic game that is fun and enjoyable to play.

Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes8
Sep 26, 2011
I really enjoyed Clash of Heroes for several reasons. First one is that it doesn't pressure your mind, and doesn't make any attempts to seem too serious. I like games where I can simply have fun and enjoy the game world. The graphics is great, nothing too complicated, very stylish and pleasant for the eye. Gameplay is easy to get a hold of, it may not offer you the deepest strategy of your life, but there were battles and puzzles that I could pass only from the second-third time. All in all, it's an awesome game, and a 15$ price tag is a fair price for it.

Section 8: Prejudice8
May 4, 2011
Section 8 looks good, plays great and basically feels awesome. This game doesn't look like other shooters, even though it uses good old UE3 for its graphics, the picture doesn't look dark and grim like most other shooters today. The colors are bright, there are no long dark corridors that make all locations look the same. The other big reason to like this game is the way it presents it self. In Section 8 you are playing as a some sort of space marine who can fly using a jet pack while shooting enemies with a futuristic weapon. Simply badass! It doesn't only look great, it makes the gameplay seem different from other games, making the overall experience very entertaining.

Super Meat Boy9
Apr 8, 2011
Super Meat Boy is just AWESOME! The gaming process is just very dynamic, you have to run jump, avoid traps and most importantly not die. It is a classic style 2D platformer game, and the main character is a square piece of meat. Team Meat (devs of the game) show us that they have a good sense of humor (some cut scenes are just hilarious), but most importantly they show us how 2D platformers should be made. They should made DIFFICULT! And I really mean difficult. Some levels take up to a couple hundred tries to complete. Some people whine about difficulty level being too high, but I say if you don't like difficulties don't buy this game. SMB is just an ultimate challenge that you can take only if you are patient and skilled enough. Overall it's a great game that REALLY challenges you. 9/10

Hoard9
Apr 8, 2011
Hoard is fun little game that lets you become the big scary dragon who burns towns, takes all the treasures and kidnaps princesses. For me the experience of playing this game was very positive. The game is very easy to understand, controls are intuitive and convenient, so starting to play right away is no problem. This game has some simple, but very stylish graphics. I mean, yeah, technologically it's nothing special, but the atmosphere and the way all the maps look like is just great. Hoard has pretty simple, yet entertaining game mechanics, so playing is fun. AI is not that smart, so after an hour or so switching to the hard mode is recommended, or the better option is to go and try yourself in the multiplayer game mode. It is a lot more fun, and also pretty challenging compared to the single player modes. Some bugs were present in the first version, but update was released recently and I can't find any of the bugs that were present. Overall, if you look at the Price/Enjoyment scale, you certainly receive much more than you pay for. 9/10 is what I give this game.
