A final true return to form! More of what I'd like to see from this series. Very good, reminds me of the first two!

Hard to give a perfect ten to anything, but this game deserves it. Especially for the time it was released.

Honestly? Nearly perfect. The ONLY weakness this game had was the Clive storyline being "gameplay time" dependant.

Takes forever to "actually" get your castle for one. The disjointed story from three perspectives **** for two. Hugo being a dumb kid was even worse... The only cool thing about this game was seeing True Rune unite magic.

The single biggest problem this game had was the overworld travel speed - and that wasn't as bad as people thought. Mostly the game didn't tell you that your ship could "run" on the world map, and no one who played the others had reason to presume you could. The fighting was good, the story was decent, though it could have been better... and overall it's an "okay" Suikoden game. The ship battles were fun!
