It's really not that bad. Yes the cop from the first movie is a lead in this one, and I know he sounds sarcastic, but it makes the movie kinda funny. This is a brainless sequel that is simply funny. Ghost kids trying to get one of the brothers to watch their stupid home videos was hilarious. The clips themselves may scare young kids but it comes off as comical. I won't spoil any of the clips, as you should just watch the movie once with a couple beers. The demon is shown much more in this film, only to jumpscare the viewer mainly. I definetly liked the Children of the Korn elements and the setting. Not bad 6/10

Let me start by saying this is a very good film. Yes it is unsettling and vile, but it is supposed to be that way. This movie feels like Stand By Me and It in certain ways, while also bringing strong scenes that truly reflect the terror these kids experienced. The movie was filmed quite well and has excellent production quality, along with strong acting from the lead actresses, and decent child acting. The character of David was a standout performance in relation to the other kids. This movie starts by showing how innocent and kind Meg is, then quickly begins to show the abuse. The abuse can seem pervasive at times, perhaps dragging on a bit. I think the physical violence was fairly mild compared to what it could have been. The movie focused mainly on the psychological torture elements more, showing the kids strength and will to live. Overall very good but disturbing 8/10

A modern cannibal exploitation film classic. A girl ends up on a missionary trip to Peru to save the rainforest from getting bulldozed, meanwhile her peers are very un-likable, but doesn't draw from the film because of what happens to them later, plus there is some good acting among certain characters. The film is funny how it portrays the arrogance of the young adults, the leader being all about the attention and fame he'll get from it. **** gets real when their plane crashes and the survivors are captured by the tribe they are trying to save, turns out they are viscous cannibals! Actors actually were in the Peruvian jungle with a real tribe that willingly and happily participated in the making of the film. One tribe member even offered director Eli Roth a very young child when leaving as a gift, Roth refused politely. All in all a very fun movie despite all the negative reviews. Honestly you know what you're getting into so fans of the genre should be pleased.

Rob Zombie's follow-up to House of 1000 Corpses was an awesome movie. The film is better than Corpses. The daughter, clown, and brother from the first film return to terrorize more people out in the West. An homage of 70s horror with a nitty-gritty feel. Grimy cinematography and brutal violence combined with good horror movie acting and balance between humor and viscousness, the film succeeds by showing viewers what they expect from a title like The Devil's Rejects. Once again, a must see for slasher film lovers.

Rob Zombie's debut film has stylized graphics and bizarre sadism that you just can't look away from. Very reminiscent of the original 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre', and has basically the same old plot. The movie stars Zombie's friends and wife (a future trend) as a psychopathic evil family that kills whoever they want for fun. A group of nitwit teens come across a side-of-the-road tourist trap, and fall prey to stupidity after trying to investigate some sketchy story told by a killer clown. Rob Zombie's film is fun and gory. A must see for any slasher film lovers.

This movie is amazing, and it can't believe the metascore is only a mere 47/100. It should at least be in the 60s. Anyways, this is a great movie, with beautiful cinematography, an amazing soundtrack, solid acting, great special effects and interesting characters. Check it out on Netflix if you haven't seen it. 8/10

Saw III, which is most of the fan's favorite it seems. This was a good movie, and a worthy entry in the series, but it just wasn't as good as Saw or Saw II. The deaths are crazy graphic and fun, and it does mark the end of Jigsaw, which makes the movie interesting and fun to watch. Good movie, 6/10.

I love the Saw movies, and this by far the best film in the series overall. Although I think Saw II is more entertaining, and and better and more deaths, Saw, the original is still a classic, and paved the way for the infamy of Jigsaw, and the deaths in the movies. 8/10

After a great first two movies, we are presented with Final Destination 3, which has more crazy deaths and more funny acting, This has one of the best death scenes, being the one in the tanning salon, and also has one of the coolest opening death scenes, the notorious roller coaster crash. This is a cool movie, but isn't as good as the first two. Fun film. 6/10

This is a very fun movie, much like the first, and pages the way for more sequels, this is another example of Final Destination at its prime. 7/10

Freddy vs. Jason, back when this movie came out, it was not really a shocker. You see, Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street are both cash cows. They follow a simple formula, teens+killer=money. So we have his movie, this movie was created for a the fans. I am not that big a fan of either franchises, but this movie was entertaining to say the least, not too bad, probably better than the sequels of the movies this came from. 6/10

Final Destination, one of the most creative horror or thriller movies out there. This was the beginning of a franchise that if infamous for having some of the craziest deaths in cinema, and some f the most cliche characters and bad acting, but that's not really a bother. This movie is a load of fun, and has some great deaths and funny scenes. Check it out if you haven't seen it. 7/10

Kick-Ass 2. The sequel to my favorite movie, Kick-Ass. Although Kick-Ass is tied with Donnie Darko. Anyways, Kick-Ass2, I expected some great things from this movie, because of how good the first movie was, but, Matthew Vaughn did not return to direct, but, he was a producer. This was a bit concerning, as I noticed that the new director was none other then Jeff Wadlow, who directed Never Back Down and Cry Wolf, both of which were pretty bad. There were more positives than negatives in this movie. I liked how they developed the relationship between Dave and Mindy, plus the introduction of 'The Motherf*cker' and 'Coronel Stars and Stripes' was pretty cool. Although this movie seemed a bit dumbed down, and much like 2 Fast 2 Furious, it feels as if they tried to do too much at once. Developing many characters and side events in a fairly short amount of time, leaving you out of breath trying to analyze everything that is happening. The main problem with this movie is that much of the comedy was replaced with profane and unnecessary violence, that takes away from the original vibe of the first movie. This seems to have been done for shock value, when really it is just gratuitous and unsettling, it is kind of a buzz kill actually. In the end, this movie was a decent sequel, that fell short from the original, but was still enjoyable, 7/10.

Paranormal Activity was released in 2007 to on demand users and others at film festivals, it wasn't for a few more years until it received a theatrical release. The movie received much attention for being similar to the 1999 movie, The Blair Witch Project, which featured the same kind of shooting and dialogue style. The film has two main characters, Katie and Micah. The two have just moved in together, and weird stuff starts to happen as they move in. This is not a haunted house movie, this a haunted person movie. Katie has been plagued since she was a child, and over the course of 3 weeks, the presence becomes stronger, until they reach the climax. When this movie came out, it was regarded as being extremely scary. It was hyped up in advertisements and other sources in the internet, spreading the reputation even more. The movie doesn't really have any jump acres or loud music, just eerie, quiet things that make you cringe. While the dialogue might not be he best, this is a fairly scary movie. With the Conjuring now out, this movie is not nearly as scary. All in all, this is a solid ghost movie that may or may not be overhyped. 7/10.

This was one of Jim Carrey's first, if not first film. Ace Ventura hit the big screens in 1994, and showed what a comedic powerhouse Jim Carrey is. This film showed a new style of humor that emanated from young Jim Carrey. This film revolves around pet detective, Jim Carrey, tracking down a dolphin thief by using a jewel from a world championship ring to provide him with a list if possible suspects, football players. During the film, there are many memorable and iconic scenes that continue to make me laugh to this day. The facial expressions from Carrey in this movie are priceless, and all in all it is a great feel-good film. This films remains to be a classic Jim Carrey film, along with Dumb and Dumber. Fun to watch with the family. 7/10.

Scary Movie 5

Scary Movie (2000) is a classic spoof movie, and was a very promising entry in the series, after three not-that-bad sequels, I was excited for Scary Movie 5, after the long hiatus. Before it came out, I did some research on IMDb, and saw the low 5.3 rating, on par with the last 3. Although, the Metascore was much lower, but I expected it to be. One major thing I noticed was that this movie would not feature Anna Faris, and their was a new director, whose filmography was terrible, but I looked on the bright side. When I saw this in the theatre, I was appalled. It didn't even feel like a 'Scary Movie', it felt like someone shoved a flaming metal Lego in my eyeball. This movie was complete ****, and even people in the theatre were as quiet as rocks, and they were teenagers! This movie was short,p and stupid, and it parodied **** movies. The only scene that was SLIGHTLY amusing was the opening scene with Snoop Dogg, and even that was stupid as f*ck. This movie TOOK A **** all over the original. 2/10.

Scary Movie (2000) is the first film in the "Scary Movie" parody series that revolves around making fun of what was originally just horror movies, but eventually by the time of the 3rd part, features other movies that were not horror. Scary Movie is a very memorable film to me, and really showed what a true spoof is. To me, this film is up there with Airplane! and Spaceballs. The film has non stop humor much like Naked Gun, while having characters that you actually care about and have some development. Directed and written by the Wayans brothers, who also act as main characters in the movie, this film received an R rating, as did the second film. However, 3-5 were directed by different people and received the PG-13 rating, giving them less freedom. Scary Movie was actually a box office hit, making a few hundred million dollars. Acting isn't too bad in this film, and you are constantly entertained. As a bonus, the main antagonist, Ghostface, taken from the popular 90's horror franchise Scream, has some very funny scenes where he interacts with other minor characters. All in all, this is a great spoof movie with an actual story, that is entertaining with decent cinematography and puns. Overall, I give thus film a 8/10.

Saw IV

The original Saw came out in 2004 and reached much success and critical acclaim, reciting mixed reviews from major critics, but heavy praise from many horror fans from around the world. 3 years later, as usual, we get a new Saw film, being Saw IV. This broke the Saw trilogy, and began to show how little the studio cared about the quality of their story and overall production of the Saw movies. This marked the first time a Saw movie had received a rating below 6/10, and to have a Metacritic rating in the red. Saw IV brought no special tapas to the table, and didn't have that great of a twist. Also, you really didn't give a f*** about the people being tortured and the story was a bit farfetched, BUT, this film has a saving grace, Tobin Bell. Don't watch this movie for the traps or main story with the victims, watch it for the backstory of John Cramer, and how he transformed from a warm civil engineer, to the sadistic serial killer, Jigsaw. This film has a lot of good backstory on him and his annoying wife, Jill. It features his first trap, a prototype for the puppet, and even a motive. All in all, not the best entry, but worth checking out if you care about the story. 6/10.

The original Final Destination came out in 2000, and revolved around a group of kids getting killed one by one after their friend had a premonition of a disaster, causing them to avert it, they were said to have 'cheated death'. This film is no different. This film follows the same formula as all the other films.. Disaster-Survival-Death-Warn the others-Death. However, this film seems to get the worst reviews of them all. Sure this movie is filled with inconsistencies and waiters for actors, also featuring some ludicrous deaths, but you have to remember that this film is not to be taken too seriously, as it has much like the Chucky films, taken a more comedic route than the original two. In this film, kids escape a major wreck at a race track, causing everyone to die. Then one by one, they die in stupid ways, such as getting their organs getting **** out of their a** by a pool filter and getting cubed by a fence. In the end, this is an alright popcorn flick to watch with some friends, then forget about. 5/10.
