I love the game, plain and simple, it isn't the most complex game, the most story rich or even the most fun but I can safely say that even if I didn't get the game free with ps plus I would have bought it but not at full price, I can certainly say that the combat is fun in its simplicity and the gore is fantastic, and it manages to juggle six possible main protagonists very well with each feeling like they could have led the game if there was only one possible protag, though I have to admit my favourite Slayer is certainly Jacob, the design and look of each area is well done and I definitely recommend it to people who don't care too much for story or mechanical complexity and just want to have fun, although there is some complexity with the card system which is basically like a constantly interchangeable skill tree, finding which cards synergies with others can be fun, overall I doubt my rating would change anytime soon and I anticipate patch 6 greatly

I adore this beautiful souls-like, the weapon customisation of switching the blades and handles of the weapons you either find in the world or buy from the occasional merchant, the defenses being purely tied to inner parts is fantastic when the clothing options look this damn good, the combat is clean and makes me think of an incredible fusion of BloodBorne and Sekiro, the only reason I'm not giving the game a higher rating is because I haven't finished it yet but at the rate the game is going it will definitely be bumped up to a 9 or even 10 by the time I'm done

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon10

An incredible game with fantastic replay value, customisation and the variety of builds to be made, I didn't go into the game expecting a great story but I loved what I got to experience and it might be one of the best games I've played this year with definitely the best gameplay.

Cyberpunk 207710

Genuinely the best open world game I've ever played, the story is just great and the gameplay is so damn good it's insane, I can't help but love the cast of characters you meet in the main story missions and side quests but the greatest part of the game aside from the customisation and build potential is undoubtedly the open world itself, Night City is all that is wrong with the world and I love it, its the type of game where I could start it and just drive around and enjoy the beauty of the city of dreams, I could not recommend the game enough and I can only pray that the next Cyberpunk game is even half as good as the incredible story **** redemption we eventually received.

Possibly the best open world game I've played, the world is interesting and is one of the few games that I would gladly watch a lore video on, the limits for builds is basically nonexistent and you can center around whatever, a specific stat, spell, Ash of war, or making a weapon as good as possible, the story is fascinating and the characters you can interact with are often somewhat sympathetic though many of their questlines end rather tragically. The bosses are unique and difficult to fight even early game and while many bosses are used multiple times it isn't as negative as it is made out to be due to the sheer size of the world and how unlikely it is for you to see everything and fight every boss. The weapons and armour are well made and have detailed designs, from the most obvious colours to the most difficult to see engravings. Overall I greatly enjoyed the game despite the frustration it often made me feel and I can't wait to experience the games that led to this masterpiece

Red Dead Redemption 210

One of the best open world games I've played, very immersive, solid gameplay but I think the highlights are the story, characters, and the general look, to think this is released on a last gen console and is one of the best looking games I've played is insane. Arthur Morgan is an entertaining and sympathetic protagonist, and the rest of the gang are generally entertaining in cutscenes, missions, and when walking around camp. The customisation is also very solid with you being able to make minor changes to your outfit such as your sleeves being rolled up or the collar of your shirt being closed or open, gun customisation is also quite good despite it mostly being unseen unless you play in first person. And finally, the honor system is simple but interesting, with every action you do affecting the ending, interactions, and even the way Arthur says lines, also affecting dialogue in cutscenes. Overall Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of my favourite open world games and I can't wait too see where Rockstar goes with the franchise
