RV There Yet?

Hilarious and chaotic experience, and really fun with friends. I liked RV There Yet?. It is a physics-based game in which you need to drive an RV van from your campsite at the lake, all the way to the highway in order to go home. To do so, you need to work together to drive the RV, carefully navigate over impossible terrain and keeping the vehicle repaired and drivable. You start as four, fat little dudes that just finished their vacation by the lake. From this point on, it is free for all on how you decide to proceed. Get right into the van, walk along the road a bit to scout ahead or just collect useless hats, beer, mugs or darts. When driving the RV, you follow a fixed path with many obstacles, broken bridges, pits, swamps and even a volcano. You find planks to make bridges, use your towing line to push and pull the van over difficult terrain and use mad driving skills to keep the van on the road. Along the way, you encounter checkpoints to save your progression until that point. Something I was really grateful for, because you will die a lot. Not only from the wildlife attacks, fall damage or fire, but also because one wrong move will send the RV into the deepest pits of the abyss, immediately failing the game. The graphics in RV There Yet? are goofy, cartoonish and colorful. Despite being very simple, the environment actually looks quite nice, and a sense of calm is created with the rivers, trees and forests. That is, until the van comes crashing down from a cliff and everyone panics. The sound effects and music are calm and atmospheric. They just work. Control wise is where this game stand out, good and bad. The good part is that they are responsive and fairly accurate, the bad news is that one wrong turn can make you lose all control of the vehicle and the only way to progress is to accept defeat and try again. There is a strategic element to this game where you collect food, antidote, spare parts and scrap, and keep it stored inside the many cabinets inside the RV. This way, you can prepare for the many dangers and failures ahead. RV There Yet? is not perfect and has many, many bugs and glitches. This sometimes results in your van being catapulted into space, because it was stuck inside a rock. But the glitches in this game are funny, rather than annoying. This game is a lot of fun with friends, and the laughs, chaos, ridiculous outfits and roleplaying is the main reason why it is so good. It will never get boring trying another run and for the low price, I say this is a very enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend this game.

Masterfully crafted game and the prime example of keeping a game interesting. I love Deep Rock Galactic. It is simple, mindless and repetitive, but it has the ultimate gameplay loop that keeps me entertained for hours. In the basics, you play as a grumpy dwarf that is sent on mining expeditions to collect resources, both for the mission, and minerals to use yourself for upgrading and purchasing new gear. You select various missions, which play in dimly lighted, randomly generated caves and complete your mission, while collecting all kinds of minerals and items to bring back with you to the Space Station. Accompanying you is a “Mule”, which is a robot on legs in which you can store the mission items and collected minerals. Throughout each mission, many different minerals can be found and mined, including rare artifacts and upgrade materials. When playing alone, a drone named Bosco comes with you and can shoot enemies and mining minerals. Speaking of enemies, throughout your expeditions, you are constantly hindered and attacked by the local wildlife called Glyphids. These are spider-like aliens that want nothing but your swift demise. There are many different Glyphids and other alien races that are present at each level and each one is as annoying as the last. There are four classes to choose from: The Driller, which specializes in breaking through rubble and digging tunnels, the Scout, which can light large areas of the cave, the Engineer which can create platforms to reach high places, and the Gunner which obliterates Glyphids in rapid succession. Each class has its unique play style, weapons and tools and, when combined with other players, real teamwork can be achieved. This class design is one of the best aspects of the game. For example, your Engineer places a platform high on the rock and your Scout reaches it with his Grappling Hook and mines the minerals. Each mission earns you rewards like credits, mined minerals and experience. When completing certain tasks, you also earn skill points that you can use to improve your character. When reaching level 20, a special mission can be played to promote your character, resetting it to level 1, while keeping your upgrades and skills. Do this three times and your dwarf has become the best of the best. After 15 levels, a statue will be placed in the Memorial Hall in honor of you. When returning from a mission, you arrive at the Space Station, your hub of operations. Here, you can switch your class, modify your dwarf with a million different cosmetic items, play dumb video games, drink beer, shake your booty on the dance floor and spend your minerals upgrade your weapons and gear, or purchase new items. The amount of stuff to do at the Space Station alone is mind blowing. There are about eleven different types of missions that you can choose from. From simple mining missions to Egg hunts, Dreadnought extermination and Liquid Morkite refinery. Although this could get a little repetitive over time, the constant switching between these mission types, the randomly generated caves and the slightly different secondary objective make the experience unique enough each time. I really like the graphical style of this game. It is cell shading polygon and not meant to be mind blowing, but it still looks pretty nice. The animations are fluent, the controls just work and the soundtracks are fantastic. Later in the game, you unlock Deep Dives and the Forge. Deep Dives are just three missions crammed together in one large mission, while giving you a ton of XP and resources upon completing them. If you are looking for a real challenge, there are also Elite Deep Dives. The Forge can be used to crafts cosmetic item sets or “overclocks” that can give your weapons the little boost they need to become unstoppable. On top of the many, many things that you can do in Deep Rock Galactic, the added seasons and specials events make it even more fun. When Christmas arrives, you can play special Christmas themed assignments to earn unique cosmetics and a ton of resources. You also got the seasonal Terminal, in which you can earn special tokens to unlock new weapon skins and minerals. In harder missions, on higher difficulty levels, hazards are introduced in each level and some of them are God awful, like the Low Blood sugar for example in which you take damage every second and need to kill enemies to collect their healing crystals. Another small complaint with this game is the “High Ground” glitch. Enemies can attack and hurt you when you are above them because of some Clipping, making them stop underneath a platform or ledge, while going full Rambo on you. Meanwhile, you cannot do anything about it. But in the end, I can only praise this game. It got a **** of stuff to do, unlock, collect and experience and keeps you entertained forever because of the seasons, events and new content. Definitely recommend this game!

Sequel that I tried to love but just couldn’t. Killing Floor III was the long-awaited sequel in the series and when I learned of its development, I pre-ordered it immediately. I was excited, hopeful and could not wait for it to come out. The experience I got at release was a wild ride of disappointment and sadness. Killing Floor III is, in the core, the same game and principle as the previous installments. You choose a map, fight waves of enemies (Zeds) and in the end, fight a boss. You can choose a class, earn experience and level up, after which you can unlock abilities and skills for your characters and upgrade them. Killing Floor III looks amazing. Graphics, animations and enemy design are all very good and the PhysX effects and ragdoll are spot on. The only problem here, is that all the maps are very, very dark and too “realistic”. The blood and gore effects are great and the carnage when playing a match (and not crashing) is intense. The sound effects are also spot on, and the metal soundtracks are back from the previous games, although not as many and not the greatest tracks in my opinion. Gameplay wise, Killing Floor III plays similar to the other games, with some small tweaks. Every character now has special items with them like a shock trap, multi tools or ammo bags, which can be selected in the load outs. Every class now also has a special attack that recharges overtime. Another new feature is the mods and add-ons for your weapons. You collect parts salvaged from camera’s, digital billboards and antennas to create and upgrade these mods, which can be installed in your weapons. The first problem with this game was its horrible, horrible launch. Never have I seen a game so broken, unstable and f@cked as this game was when it came out. There were constant “Unreal Engine GPU Crash Dumps”, stuttering, performance issues and matchmaking issues. I never crashed so much as with this game, and I was not alone. The developers were doing nothing at first and were just fixing some waiting issues in the matchmaking, better matchmaking and server performance and all kinds of other, useless fixes, instead of focusing all their attention on fixing the game breaking crashes. Then you got hundreds of glitches, which let you just delete a complete mod add-on because you press the wrong button, or the skills that you assigned did not assign but the points were gone. Although my main issue was by far the horrible performance of this game, later on, when everything finally was playable (and I was somehow still playing), the gameplay loop and lack of content got boring really quick. You cannot select the number of waves per level, so variation is a no go. There are three bosses and 10 maps and that’s it. You can upgrade your weapons with mods, as mentioned earlier, but this results in some Frankenstein creations in which your character becomes invincible, and all challenges are gone that the game has to offer. There are also certain spots in levels that makes all the enemies come at you in a straight line, so picking them of is very easy. And for me, the final nail in the coffin is the fact that, even when this game becomes stable, playable and gets more content in terms of levels, bosses, selectable waves, new enemies etc. I just don’t have the same feel with it as the other games, especially Killing Floor 2. I thought by myself that it was just a matter of nostalgia, but many times, after I was done with Killing Floor III and started a round of Killing Floor 2 with some friends, the immense action, optimized game, graphics, soundtracks, beautiful maps, content and experience hit me in the face with an overwhelming force. It was this moment that I realized that Killing Floor III is, and never will be, the true successor for Killing Floor 2 and is just a poor or “okayish” game. I would not recommend it.

Allright DLC for the main game. Painkiller: Hell and Damnation is a remaster of the first Painkiller game and its expansion: Battle Out of Hell. The game follows the same story line and mechanics, but offers a lot more content like challenge maps, a unique Halloween map and the introduction of co-op. It now runs on the Unreal Engine and looks fantastic. You can clearly see that this is a game of the new millennium. Some stages are not available until you buy them as DLC, the same goes for the Tarot cards and skins. And speaking of DLC, this game has a ton of it. You never have the feeling that you have a complete game because you miss some random DLC. The only game that I know of that is worse than this, is Borderlands 2 with its million pieces of DLC. The Full Metal Rocket DLC adds a Multiplayer Level, some skins, new enemies and a new Survival map. Although cool, I did not have the feeling that this really needed to be another DLC package. The new Survival map Town was fun, but other than that, it was not that special. For the low price however, I would recommend this DLC.

I liked Orcs Must Die 2. It is just as silly, fast paced and chaotic as the first game, but has some improvements and new features. In the two campaign acts, you fight as the sarcastic War Mage from the previous game, now arch mage because of the passing of his master. The orcs are invading once again, and it is your job to stop them. This time however, you are joined by a random chick that also happens to be an elite wizard. You can play each map as the guy or the girl, each with different special abilities and loadouts. The mechanics of Orcs Must Die 2 are the same as the first game. You start a level, prepare for the waves of orcs that come and finish them all off, before they reach the end portal that you are supposed to defend. Many orc models and traps have been transferred from the first game, with some new ones here and there. Other new features are new weapons, like a freaking mage bazooka thingy, far more spells and damage types, and improved melee. The graphics in Orcs Must Die 2 are slightly upgraded from the first game, and are still in the cartoony style like the first game. The animations and framerate are butter smooth. In terms of sound and soundtracks, the game is just as good as its predecessor. All the tracks from the first game are present, along with some new ones. Sound design has not changed much from the previous game. The Are We There Yeti? DLC was the most fun I had with the game. In this DLC, you defend a new Ice Fortress from Goblins and, of course, Yeti's. The Visuals, artstyle and enemy design is great, and the DLC is actually very challenging. Like the other DLC's, this one is way too overpriced, but for the extra fun it offers, I would recommend it.

Skyrim is an timeless, epic game with a massive world, endless possibilities and a very strong replay value. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has a relatively simple, but powerful story. Because this game is mainly focused on this story, I will spoil nothing. If you never played the game, this is something that you need to experience for yourself. You start an empty character from various races, can customize almost every inch of their bodies and then start your adventure in the world of Skyrim. You are free to roam wherever you want, when you want, how you want, all at the very start of the game, after the tutorial. This game is the definition of “nonlinear” and freedom. Right from the start, you get **** into its beautiful open world, and can start leveling up your skills, picking some flowers, mine some ore, collect garbage to sell at vendors and finally murdering that bunny that you chased all the way to Riften. Even today, I still think Skyrim looks glorious. Sure, the textures can be a little rough here and there, animations are not as “flawless” as today’s games and flowers can look like cardboard cutouts, but for its time, this was revolutionary. There is just so much detail in everything. Wildlife, flowers, sunlight, moonlight, grass, mountains, it is all just great. Every cabin, every cave and every ruin is filled with countless items, details and decorations, and you can interact with almost all of it. Sure, this is a Bethesda game, so glitching and clipping is a thing, but that is the whole charm of this game. Seeing a bucket being launched at 320 km/h because it was too close to a table is just hilarious. Enemies are greatly designed and form a well balanced mix of beasts, monsters, bandits and supernatural beings. Sound wise, Skyrim is a work of art. The sound effects, voice acting, and (ambient) music is just perfect. When walk around town, just wanting to buy some supplies, a calm and peaceful track plays in the background. When you get ambushed by a hungry dragon and the male orchestra voices play, you now that **** just got serious. The menu’s, controls and interfaces work great and the overall mechanics of the game are pretty realistic. You can become overburdened with all the crap you carry with you, you can attract vile diseases from certain enemies like the Skeevers (giant rats), you can experience serious problems or debuffs when not sleeping enough, it just adds more fun and challenge to the game. The Hearthfire DLC was one of the best additions to the game. Now, you can build your own house, farm your own crops and adopt a kid and get married. It really makes the Skyrim experience complete. In my opnion, one should definitly get this DLC.

You can become overburdened with all the crap you carry with you, you can attract vile diseases from certain enemies like the Skeevers (giant rats), you can experience serious problems or debuffs when not sleeping enough, it just adds more fun and challenge to the game. Combat works flawlessly and, with the right fighting style, can be intense and brutal. The beauty of the combat and learning curve, it is that you get nuked in the beginning by a Giant for example, level up your Heavy Armor skill, health and One Handed, come back to him, and shove that club of his so hard into his brown star until he finally gets the message that you are done with his ****. The leveling system is also pretty unique, same as Fallout 3 for example. Instead of killing stuff and earn XP, you level all different skills by performing attacks or action in that category. Crouching past enemies undetected increases your Sneak, forging a million iron daggers improves your smithing, letting yourself get bludgeoned like a baby seal while wearing light armor increases your “Light Armor” skill etc. By leveling up your different skills, you earn general XP for your character level. With each new level, you can increase health, stamina, magika (mana) and choose a unique ability in the skill tree of one of your skills. The best part of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is simply that there is just soooooo much to do. You got a gigantic world map with hundreds of caves, crypts, enclaves, towns, cities, outposts, ruins, tombs and bandit camps, all waiting for you to explore, conquer and plunder. There are (in my opinion) a million quests to undertake and, like many, I got so caught up in the side quests, that I actually reached level 50 and still needed to visit the Greybeards, who almost died of old age when I finally got there. You can experiment with your skills, different weapons, different play styles and overall, this game can hook you up for literal days in terms of playtime. This is one of those games in which you actually feel really powerful when leveling up enough, and all your hard work is actually reflected through your damage output, constitution and overall feel. This sounds pretty basic, but a lot of games do not actually reward you with power or feeling of might and pride when you reach level 80 for example. In the end, I think The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is one of the best games ever made, and although it is considered a relic in present days, it’s legacy lives on forever in forms of memes, jokes, punch lines and references. It gives you worth for your money and in my opinion, every gamer is obligated to have this piece of art in their library.Definitely recommend this timeless classic.

Great Character Back from the old days. I waited impatiently for Diablo III to come out, back in 2012, and when it did, I was the first to buy it. Never was I more hyped for a sequel than this one. Right away, I was hooked up and played many hours in a row and almost finished it in one setting. The newly added characters, like the Witch Doctor, Monk and Demon Hunter and all great and every character is balanced. I could not find problems with any of them being more overpowered than the other. My personal favorite will always be the With Doctor. Raising zombies and attacking with foul voodoo is just so satisfying. Diablo III is a big game and offers much content for moneys worth. It also has many improved features from the previous installments, like more inventory space, a re-loadable health potion and a town portal that you can always use, instead of a big bible in your inventory that stores town portals. This new Necromancer Character takes the game back to its root, namely Diablo II. It is a balanced character with all the skills that you expect from the previous game, but this time, done with more flair and animations. The Necromancer plays excellent and can be counted as a worthy member of the character roster. It was a welcome addition to the game.

Too much fun for such a simple game. I cannot explain why, but I love Shotgun Farmers. It is simple, easy to understand and fast paced. In Shotgun Farmers, you create a farmer, put a nice hat on his head and start blasting other farmers in Death Match games, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, etc. etc. There are over 30 game modes, although many game modes play the same. What makes this game unique, aside from the obvious fact that you use fruit and vegetables to blast your opponents, is that you can plant your weapons by shooting the ground. It will then grow for a while, giving you a fresh new ammo supply. When done right, you can use one weapon forever. The graphics are as simple as ever, but that does not matter for this simple concept. It is sometimes a little rough to see stuff, especially when under water. The classic Farm music, the narration of the Redneck Farmer and the sound effects are great and enhances my experience with the game. This is an example of how easy good sound design can be. The controls are fluent and easy to pick up. The hit detection works surprisingly well. When playing solo, the bots are incredibly stupid, but luckily, you can adjust their skill level in the menu when creating a match. Apart from the Death Match stuff, you can also play a Wave Shooter Zombie survival mode. Here, you survive 50 waves of zombies, before eventually killing a boss. I found this mode to be the most fun, although the progression is slow as a snail. The only problem I have with this game is the achievements. I like unlocking and collecting them, and sure, some effort and time should be put into them, but in this game, they are as grindy as ever. The “Make this many kills with this weapon” kinds are fine, but one achievement states: “Prestige 5 – Master Farmer”. This means that you need to level up five-hundred-f*kin-times to unlock it. One level takes forever so roughly calculated you spent a month of nonstop grinding to reach this. Overall, I think Shotgun Farmers is a really fun game. With friends it is hilarious, and I can play for hours on end. It is constantly being updated and it has a good content to price ratio. I would surely recommend this game.

Great Co-op game with some fun mechanics. (Played via Remote Play) Fling to the Finish is a simple racing game in which you are a snail and are bound to another player via a rope. You must coordinate your movement carefully and solve obstacles together. First team to pass the finish line wins. You can grab ledges and fling the other player across. Some levels have metal poles which lie horizontal across a burning pit of lava. By centering the rope on the pole and swinging around it you can move forward. The graphics are simple but nice and colorful. The races are all in a downward path, creating depth and far distance views, which look nice. The controls are easy to learn, but the biggest controller is your partner on the other side of the rope. Good communication is key here. The silly soundtrack while you fail and reset over and over again is just mocking you at times. The teamwork and coordination, and the fact that you are still participating in a race, makes this game intense as **** sometimes. This is also one of those games that you must play with a friend on a Discord voice chat, with a random person, this matter of teamplay is not going to work. Overall, I really liked Fling to the Finish and would recommend it.

Joke ****. Grind Zones is one of those filthy abandoned startup projects in which you pay a small amount for a Unity Tech Demo, beat it in half an hour and never touch or think of it again. Such is the case here. You create some kind of ugly abomination that is resembling a human, pick up a sword and start killing random mobs. There is no story, no clear objective, just progress further through a linear road. You meet generic zombies and skeletons along the way, which you must fight with the God awful controls and mechanics. The graphics are terrible. Many developers try to use “jolly and playful” animations, to hide their inability to create something decent. The music is blend and generic. The controls are basic but feel stiff and broken. By far, the absolute worst part, is when you exit the forest and enter some castle/dungeon. Here, you walk five steps, kill some skeletons and then see a broken bridge. You would think that you need to find some way around it or find an alternate path, but no, this is it. The literal end of the game. The rest beyond “will be completed somewhere in the future, or not, the dev’s already got paid anyway so why should they". It is cr@p like this I hate the most. In about an hour, I “completed” the game, unlocked all the achievements and explored every inch of the map. I spit on this game and regret the hour of my life that was wasted.

Fun little Board game but way overpriced. (Played via Remote Play) The Game of Life 2 is a simple board game in which players embark on their life's journey. You choose which path you want to go on the board, earn money, spend in on a house or career and try to earn points. All controlled by the luck of the dice. The player with the most points and life goals reached wins. Of course, this game is a lot more fun with some friends, but solo or with strangers, it is boring as ****. The game looks basic and unpolished, even for a simple board game. The sound, music and controls are basic and simple. The customization is useless because your little character is always hidden inside a vehicle and does not even have a face. A round of The Game of Life 2 takes around 15 minutes, after that, you have seen the whole game. Rince and repeat until you get sick of it (fairly quick). The DLC's are definitely not worth it and are quick cash grabs by selling you one map at the time. Only buy in sale or do not by it at all because of the lack of content. Would not recommend this game when full price.

Hilarious and frustrating game. (Played a lot via Remote Play) Make Way is a simple Toy car racing game in which you can build your own track. You start with some basic pieces like corners and ramps. Each player grabs a piece and connects it to the track. Then you race, earn points for passing the checkpoints and finishing the race and then the track is expanded. After someone is declared winner, everything resets again, and a new game is started. Every time you race or build tracks, you earn XP. These experience points are used to fill up a bar. With each full bar a new piece of track, or a new obstacle or gadget is unlocked. You can also unlock new cars. The music and sound are generic and not worth talking about. The graphics are simple and basic but work for a simple game like this. The camera angles however can be terrible. You fall of the track; the camera goes haywire and then you realize that you dropped on the track below you and you are still in the race. The controls in Make Way are horrendous. You constantly have the feeling that you are driving on ice, covered in grease, after being lubricated by an eel. It is almost impossible. When you get hit once, you better have a parachute at hand, because you will go down my friend. While racing, you can pick up various power ups to hinder the other players/bots. These include a sideway shotgun to blast someone of the tracks, filthy slime traps that send your already uncontrollable car spinning and flying into the abys and a freaking hammer to beat the living **** out of someone else. In the end, I liked Make Way and would recommend it.

Fun for a few rounds but gets boring quick. Perfect Heist 2 is a simple online game in which you can be a criminal or a cop and need to rob or defend a bank. As a criminal, you blend in with normal people to avoid suspicion. Your goal is to steal a lot of euromonnies by hacking or blowing up the bank vault. To achieve this, you need to outsmart the other team by distracting them, hacking their surveillance, communication or simply by shooting them. The cops need to identify the frauds and capture or kill them before they plunder the vault. Each side has their own tools and abilities for detection, distraction or incapacitation. This game looks cheap and quickly made, which is fine for the content that it offers. The sound effects and music are generic as they can ever be and the guns sound like pea shooters. The element of surprise makes this game fun, however, after playing Perfect Heist 2 for more than three rounds, it gets boring very quickly. There is just not enough action, variation or rewards to keep you playing. Overall, I would not recommend Perfect Heist 2. It is reasonably priced for today's standards but offers too little to be enjoyed for more than one session.

Chaotic and stressful game. (Played via Remote Play) Overcooked is a game in which you manage your own restaurant, cook food and serve customers. It is the same principle as PlateUp!, but a lot more chaotic. You unlock new levels, restaurant and dishes by playing the same game loop over and over again. Graphicly, this game is nothing special. With all the **** that is going on at the screen at once, I would even say that the graphics are a little messed up. Sound wise, it is nothing special either. What kills it for me, are the controls. They are so complicated and un logical, that many times, I was searching for the right button, while my whole kitchen was burning like the deepest pits of hell. The final nail in the coffin from my perspective, is the sheer chaos, combined with the controls. I simply cannot proces fast enough what is happening all in the kitchen, which dish is on fire this time or which customer just lost his **** from the waiting. Unlike PlateUp!, which is relaxing and enjoyable, this game gives me stress and anxiety, and I did not like it. Personally, I would not recommend this game.

Glorious game with the right aesthetic. (Played a lot via Remote Play) Bunhouse is an absolutely glorious game. You play as a cute little bunny that grows its own crops in his little Greenhouse. You plant your crops, water them shower them with love and then selling them for cold hard cash (or carrots in this case). You buy improvements for your Greenhouse, buy new seeds and handy shelfs to conserve space. Eventually, you can buy some automation, in which your tiny rabbit paw only needs to press a button and the crops grow themselves. The graphics are a 10/10, cute little bunnies cannot go wrong **** sound of your tiny paws hopping all over the place is very satisfying. And that's it, rinse and repeat. Grow, sell, improve. It is just right. I can watch hours at the little bunny hopping around with his tiny watering can and his tiny little hat. Bunhouse is just so full of joy, so simple and peaceful, I love it. Definitely recommend this game.

Simple and hilarious game. (Played a lot via Remote Play) Unspottable is one of my favorite party games when I play with friends on a casual Friday night. The concept is simple, and, in its core, it is just Hide and Seek. Everyone blends in with a large group of clones, which are all robots. Your goal is to whack all the players before they whack you. First to win 10 points wins. You can also loose points when you are punched in the face by a robot, which can happen in some stages. The whole charm of Unspottable is to act "normal", walk once in a while to avoid suspicion and act at the right time. Unspottable looks silly and cartoonish, and the music and sound is no different. Control wise, this game is also a piece of cake. Just walk, run and punch. Winning at this little game feels very rewarding and this is one of the few Indie Party games that I can boot up any time. Definitly recommend this game.

Fun game with fresh concept. (Played via Remote Play) There are many small indie games out there, many of them with exactly the same concept, idea, game mode etc. However, Unrailed! has something unique. You need to transport a train from point A to point B, while completing the tracks under its wheels. You need to collect stone and wood to build tracks, cool down the engine from time to time using a water bucket and keep an eye of the movement of the train at all times. The multitasking makes it fun, especially with friends, where everyone has a different task. After each successful mission, you can buy upgrades for your train carts, making the later stages a little easier. However, in the later stages, the train will move faster and faster, giving you less time to complete the track. When your little train crashes, it is game over. All progress, upgrades and carts are lost, and you may start over again. Unrailed! uses simple, "Minecraft" graphics which are fine for a simple game like this. The character models look silly and hilarious, especially when moving. The sound effects and music are alright and just play nicely in the background. Control wise, this game is very simple and easy to learn. Overall, I liked Unrailed! especially with some friends on a Saturday night. It offers some quick casual fun and with its unique concept, I would surely recommend it.

Very good game with good strategic elements. (Played a lot via Remote Play) Party Hard is a great game in which you are fed up with the partying of your annoying neighbours and choose the obvious route to resolve this irritation. By burying a knife between their eyes. You go undercover to different parties (levels) and try to blend in with the party people. You place various traps and wait for the right opportunity to rob someone of life. If your deeds are discovered, the cops, or even a S.W.A.T. team comes in, looking for the murderer. You then need to hide until they leave and then do it all over again. You can trigger various environmental hazards that help you wipe the floor and sometimes a random bear or shark does all the foul work for you. The art style of Party Hard is gorgeous. It is a mix between 8-bit NES and modern cell shading. I love it. The sound effects and constant party techno music is well done and give you the feeling of a certain cover, while you casually shank everyone. I like the strategy element of this game, and it is even more fun to play with friends and see who can last the longest. Carefully planning who to wipe next, set off traps at the right moment, and the tension of escaping the cops, it is just a genius piece of game design. In the end I can only praise this game and would recommend it to everyone.

Fun and relaxing game. (Played a lot via Remote Play) Sometimes I need a break from all the violence in games and just play something nice, something casual. That's where PlateUp! comes in. You create a little restaurant, receive guests, make food and wash dishes. You collect upgrade plans for your restaurant to make stuff easier, like a dishwasher, a cooking pit that cannot burn food or conveyer belts that transport food to a freeze unit. After earning 10 stars throughout 10 levels, you can make your very own franchise, which is then saved. Fail anywhere in between, and your progress is gone. Every time you play, you unlock new recipes, buildings, decorations, locations and silly hats for your character. Graphicly this game is nothing special. But for a simple, calming game like this, that is totally fine. The sounds effects and background music are silly and goofy. The controls take some time to get used to, but once figured out, they are smooth and easy. With a friend, PlateUp! becomes even more fun and when two people divide the various tasks, managing your restaurant becomes a lot easier. I really like the simplicity of this game. You cook, clean, serve customers and collect monies, sometimes, that is all that I need in life. Overall, I think PlateUp! is a nice, little game that offers some relaxation and satisfaction. I would surely recommend it.

Fun little game with friends but way overpriced. Witch It! is a fun party game in which you play hide and seek as a witch that can transform into different objects. In the other team are Witch Hunters, which need to find and destroy all the witches. You pick a team, select your skills that you want to use that round for the witch and the hunter and let's go. When playing as a witch, you get 20 seconds to hide yourself by transforming as an object of you choose by touching it. Then the hunters are unleashed and search for you. When they find and whack all the witches in time, they win, if they fail to find you, you win. Easy and simple. You score points by winning a round, but also by moving as an object, making it harder for you to stay undetected, but worth the risk. Witch It! looks standard and blend, as can be expected from a small Indie game. The art style and decoration of the levels, however, is nicely done. I have to say that some of the skills are a little cheap. The witches can use some little monster for example, that blocks the hunter's view. This skill reloads very quickly, making it hard (and sometimes impossible) to act or react when finding a witch. So far, this game has two game modes. Traditional Hide and seek, and "Hag Hunt". In this mode, the witches cannot use skills and simply run around and try to avoid the Hunter. This is very, very boring however and feels like the developers just threw in something to fill up the game. This game is on par with Human Fall Flat, Unrailed! II and Party Animals in terms of pricing. All of them are fun but very small and limited games, that sell for half or 1/3 th the price of a Tripple A game. Maybe inflation is to blame, but I would recommend buying this game in a sale. In the end, Witch It! is just another party game for some quick hours of fun for way too high of a price. But for the concept and laughs that this game offers, I would recommend it.

Boring, repetitive and mind-numbing. I don't know what happened exactly, but from all the Deathmatch classic games, I really hated Team Fortress 2. The graphics and ascetics, the gameplay loop and the combat itself. Team Fortress 2 is a multiplayer only game in which 2 teams battle it out in different game modes. You got all the classics like King of The Hill, Capture the Flag, Deathmatch and some unique ones like Medieval Mode and Special Delivery. The principle is always the same. Blow up members of the enemy team and score the most points. There are different classes available, each with their own purpose and abilities. You got a Scout, Pyromancer, Medic, Engineer and many more. In theory, these classes and the way the game is supposed to be played, revolves around a balanced team with different members that, together with clever teamwork, can overpower the opponent. The medic heals teammates; the Heavies guard a certain exit etc. However, this game is all over the place. You pick a certain class, just go with the flow, and try not to die. I have a special dislike for the cartoonish and jolly graphics in Team Fortress 2. Normally I can write whole lectures about what I didn't like, how bad the animations are etc. but with this game, I can't. I just think it looks ugly and that's it. The sound effects and music are fine; they could be a lot worse. The controls are fluent, although sometimes it feels a little unresponsive. This, however, is mainly me who is not that great in Deatmatch shooters in general. My biggest personal complaint about this game is the sheer chaos. I try to reach a place, follow an enemy or simply walk around and BAM, I am dead. Some turrets on a ledge pumped my @ss full of lead. After respawning, my screen is obstructed with the fires of hell and a Pyro just burned me into a crisp. Sure, I am not that great at Team Fortress 2, just like I am not that great at Call of Duty, CSGO and many others. The only difference is, I can enjoy those games, unlike Team Fortress 2. In the end, I personally hated Team Fortress 2 and knew that this is not the game for me. It is too chaotic, blend, unrewarding and straight up boring (in my opinion).

Very simple but intense little game. Stick Fight: The Game is a fun little distraction, played from your couch on a Friday night with some friends. The game is exactly like the title says. A fight with Stick Man figures. You battle each other in different arenas while picking up weapons (melee and ranged) to obliterate your opponents, you push them into the abys below or simply blow them up by shooting a barrel behind them. There are swords, pistols, rifles, bazooka's, lasers and many more instruments of death to unleash on your enemies. The last player standing wins the round and earns a point. The player with the most points win. Rince and repeat. The graphics are simple and consists of crates, ledges and Stick Figures. The animations and framerate, however, are butter smooth. The sound is nothing special. Control wise, Stick Fight: The Game shines. Every movement and action feel responsive, and you are in total control of your little Stick Man. If you fail, that's on you. For its low price, I say that this is a good value, and I would recommend it to everyone for some quick fun and action.
