Destiny 2: The Final Shape10
Jun 9, 2024
This is, bar none, the best expansion Bungie has ever created and one of the best experiences I've ever had in gaming. The story is nothing short of perfect. Characters are fully fleshed out and masterfully voiced (RIP Lance, thank you Keith), the destination is beautifully rendered, and the plot threads all wrap up into an ending that rips your heart out and then puts it back together with the Light. On the gameplay side, Prismatic is a whimsical subclass that enables buildcrafting that you've never even considered before, and the weapons have fun and diverse perk pools. The healing auto rifle and the rocket sidearm are particularly notable. The exotics aren't anything game-breaking, but they buff Prismatic in dynamic ways that expand buildcrafting even further. All-in-all, a masterpiece from start to finish. Thank you for everything, Bungie.

Azure Striker Gunvolt 34
Oct 14, 2022
The writer for the Gunvolt series really has a hate boner for GV himself. Every single ending is either extremely depressing or bittersweet at most. Not to mention characters and plot threads are just completely dropped between GV2 and 3. If you’re playing this game for the story, don’t bother. If you’re playing for that sweet sweet Azure Striker gameplay, once again, don’t bother. Gunvolt is relegated to a time-limited power up for the new protagonist, Kirin. This should’ve been a Gunvolt Chronicles game setting up Kirin as a new protagonist. As it stands, it’s an insult to fans of the first 2 Gunvolt games.

Mega Man Zero / ZX Legacy Collection10
Feb 27, 2020
An excellent collection of some of the best games in Mega Man history. Pros: + Save assist and Casual Scenario for a more relaxed playthrough
+ Remastered audio and full-resolution anime cutscenes
+ Bonus content like the e-reader cards and the Z3 and Z4 boss fights in ZX are accessible. + Massive gallery of Zero and ZX art
+ Z-Chaser mode for some extra replayability + English and Japanese versions Cons:
- Typos and minor censorships are still present. Ergo, changing “die” to “retire”
- Despite having a touchscreen, it’s not possible to touch the “bottom” screen for actions such as A-Trans in ZX Advent. The stick works, but isn’t ideal. - Filters leave a bit to be desired. I personally like the smooth one, but I would’ve liked to have more options, such as a different type of smoothing technique or a CRT filter. Ultimately, very much worth the $30. Capcom has done a lot right here and the cons are essentially nitpicks. Highly recommend for fans of Megaman and action platformers in general.
