So much potential wasted by clunky controls and ridiculous difficulty. This game should be rather called "Dying Simulator", because there's no way to progress in this game with this obscene amount of forever spawning enemies, and in-game events making it impossible to progress.

The Legend of Korra4
Oct 23, 2014
The game is a poor approach to making Korra game, it feels clunky, stiff and rigid. Controls are pretty hard and there's no real strategy to it other than smashing two buttons. Difficulty level is ridiculously uneven: on normal the first mission is undoable, on casual level it's stupidly easy. Game is heavily scripted, feels like a bunch of Flash games stitched together, there's some fighting, clunky platforming, endless runner and stuff like that. Doesn't feel polished, more like a quick and dirty cash grab. Story is simple, and I really like custom made animated scenes, but game voicing is ridiculous and... well... stupid at least, Korra's comments are out of place and just sound weird. It's a game that you *might* want to get when it's 10€ or less to be honest, definitely not worth 15€.

One of the most interesting FPS of 2014 so far :-) Non-standard approach to cooperative mode reduces the story to chunked missions, but that is by design and playing them all in order actually incorporates pretty interesting (yet simple) story. It is the best cooperative shooter I played ever though, graphics are amazing, music as well. I like simple, yet distinctive customisation features, although there's not much introduction to character classes in-game. It's definitely a shooter for non-hardcore gamers, that prefer PvE approach to online shooters, instead of killing each other.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U10

Definitely a funny take on fighting games :-) I would describe it as "sumo fighting with Nintendo characters", you try to push out enemies out of the arena and not being pushed out yourself. Characters are nicely animated and voiced, even if you don't know them all it's a lot to discover! Fighting mechanics are somehow simple to start with, but hard to master and each fighter has their own 'personality' and style. Many gameplay modes, this game really has the "one more smash!" factor that keeps me hooked for long, longer than I would sometimes play :D Definitely recommending!

Animal Crossing: New Leaf10

It is my first Animal Crossing game and it's absolutely fantastic :-) It's like a "free to play" game, without the micro-transactions, really charming and heartwarming. You decide on how much you want to spend with the game, but I already scored over 70 hours in around a month, there's always something to do: take care of fruit trees, plant and water flowers, collect shells, visit other gamers, have mini parties with your villagers, who are cute and silly and funny. It's a great game to play when you don't want to save the world another time, or you just want to do something positive, since you can never loose in this game, every villager tells you how awesome you are, and in general this game makes you feel great about life and yourself.

In general the game is pretty interesting, although victimised by the Ubisoft's marketing team hype. As many people point out, the story is kind of "flat" — the protagonist kind of tries to keep the moral upper hand on the motives, but the game doesn't follow through: you gonna kill, you gonna maul, you can shot petty criminals in plain sight and still get "positive karma" and points for doing that. It doesn't feel good considering how superior Aiden Pearce seems to feel about his motives and actions in the main story. Also the whole side-mission model is kind of distracting and I felt like that game cannot really decide what should be done, e.g. you unlock some critical abilities with side-missions (e.g. do 10 of one type) which isn't very clear in the game on the start. Later these abilities are useless, so the balance between main story and side missions is broken. Multiplayer experience varies greatly — I experienced awesome hacking sessions in the middle of Chicago, but quite often got "dumped" in the middle of nowhere, no car or any other mean of transport available = lost points. Also one thing that bugs me off is that experienced players keep reseting their notoriety points and vulture on fresh gamers, making the experience unbearable. Invasions are also too early in the game, so the best way is to disable them, do first few acts and then enable invasions again to keep the game balanced. In general the game is a fun way to spend time, graphics (even watered-down) are nice and Chicago is a lively, wonderful city to roll with your shenanigans :-) It can get only better
