An outdated game with little improvement. Almost the entire time is spent running back and forth between NPCs to complete the main story quest with boring dialogues and cut-scenes that feels like time wasting. Evening skipping is slow. You go through so many clicks and load even if you try to skip. The game world is colorful but pretty blend, mostly empty and little variety. Enemy design is quite uninspired. It feels like paying a subscription to waste time and feel annoyed. The game's mainly about never ending gear grinds. The newest and highest level gears and items will always require an near infinite grind to achieve. The raid boss fights is like a staged show with 100% fix script fireworks and aoe markers. Feel like a game for bots. The difficulty lies in high damage, short response time, unpredictable mechanics that are unforgiving. Feels like most people play it for vanity and bragging rights. There is very very little actual gameplay content to justify the subscription. Its just not worth it.

I usually find user scores to be a better indicator of critic scores but in this case I was wrong. The quality of the visual environment, the car and the sound effects are good. The settings offer decent customisation for a rookie like me. The actual components that make the game is some what lacking. The behaviour of the car, the obstacles, the bumps, trenches in the road makes the game very frustrating. I thought GT was unforgiving, this game is worse. Unless you have talent it its going to be a real struggle to play. I really dont think an actual car and wheel will behave the way this game does. Overall the game is decent but nothing that really stands out to make it shine. It probably just satisfies a very small group of people that really like rally car game and this particular style of game mechanic.

A passable remaster but doesnt retain the charm of the original game. While the graphics are definitely better it is lacking the intense and realism of the original game. The camera movements are too quick, zoom function didnt work for some reason maybe because its the tutorial, the texture is too bright. It puts me too much to continue much further. I'd just go back and play the original homeworld 2.

Decent fleet action with a basic story. The combat is nice but leaves some to be desired. The scale of battle is not as big as it could be. The points system which restricts the number of ships to be deployed and the power of ships that can be deployed doesnt work out very well. The "fleet" is just too small. Homeworld 2 is still a better game. The currency used to unlock ships upgrades etc is a bit too scarce. It doesnt allow you to swap around your configuration much at all. Some of the common missions are not designed too well. If you play normal mode and win all your battles you end up with too many "favors" that are just useless. But an abundance is alot better than shortage. There are alot of things that can be polished in this game. The story while its ok it isnt something I desire to see a sequel.

The game is very crude and the unit design isnt well thought out from a balance perspective. Its very small scaled compared to the original homeworld games. The progression into higher tiered units and the higher tier units themselves dont feel well thought out. But the animations are quite alright. Its not flashy or anything, just ok. The game retains the unique features of a homeworld game: 1. You have a mothership carrier that serve as mobile base, builds units and have armaments of itself. The mothership in this game have level up points, you acquire them by gathering artifacts and you can allocate points to different systems - armor, repair, weapon damage, and range. A good system. 2. All your remaining units and resources gets carried to the next mission. It makes the game flow better and the scenario more real. Unfortuantely the scenario themselves arent that well made. 3. User interface and controls, you have a menu on the right to control your mothership to build units and research technologies and upgrades. The move command shows you a radius of movement. You can specify a number of commands which include attack a specified group of units. Unfortunately it does not feel good on planet surface as opposed to space. Homeworld was really special because you play space battle in a 3d environment, you specify 3 co-ordinates to move units instead of 2 co-ordinates on a 2d map. General features: 1. Non-unique is all units in the game have some special abilities you can activate, I quite like them. 2. Pace combat is slower than your average RTS, difficulty is easy to average. You can mine more resources than you know what to do with. You carry over resources from last mission and each mission they made sure there are enough resources for you to win. So your carry over resources stacks up over a number of mission and you just get richer and richer and can pump out more and more units. Problems I have with the game. 1. User interface and control system. But the original homeworld 2 looked and felt better probably because because its set in space. It made sense in a 3d environment, and the textures also fit in better. you dont just specify where on a plain you want to move, you also select which verticalOn the surface, its nothing but a shell that offers a different visual display. 2. Remaining units from each mission is carried forward to the next mission. It gives the game a good follow. My problems with the game: 1. AI is really really bad, in skirmish you cannot play a game with uneven teams. e.g. have to be 1v1, 2v2 or 3v3. Only a few maps to play with as well. There are not many people who play the game so multiplayer you probably be hard pressed to find people to play with. 2. Too many chit-chat in game, the script talks almost none-stop sometimes. But this can be good too depending on the person. It gives the game more realism with things happening real-time. no timeout. 3. Some units fire like rail guns shoot through obstacles sometimes. sitting on top of a cliff and animation of the laser just shoots through ground. the ground takes no damage of course. 4. Story was a bit weak. Ending was wrapped up too quickly and didnt have a lot. Didnt really feel a climax and finale. 5. Units feels are too simple and not well thought out and designed. If this game is not homeworld I would probably only give it a 6. But been homeworld and with all its good and unique features 6 does not do justice. I think the crude feel of the game comes mainly been a small budget title and an old game running out of ideas. Having said all that I feel its still a worthwhile game to buy and support. Homeworld and its gameplay is really special.

To start off, none of the reviews really tell you much about the game except to just say nothing new, this is bad. I will describe here in details what I have experienced. Theme The theme of this game seems to be based on chinese martial art/fantasy novels. The exception been the player outfits. They are very umm..."liberal" and "flasy". But not all of them are like that. You can choose to be a male midget with ears and tails that look really cute - nothing sexualised. Visual The visual environment of this game is very impressive. More so than any other game I've come across. However, its a very asian style that probably doesnt appeal to westerners. You get to glide in mid air and in certain zones it makes a really impressive and awesome experience. Namely Hong Mong Isle (starter area), Hogshead Pastures and Taimong Fishing village. (possible spelling problems, I dont remember it that well.) Its a bit like an asian "heavenly realm". Combat As for the combat, its smooth. The characters are easy to play, has good skill tree and combat visual. Controls is similar to TERA but better. there are two modes you can choose from. The TERA style or the default. I find the default be better. walk with keyboard "W A S D" and basic attack with left and right mouse button. Left and right mouse button execute two different skills. You also get a suite of other useful skills that have easy to use hotkeys allocated and you can freely choose the skills you want to allocate your points to and which key to assign them. Leveling/Quests The way to level up is through quests. Most of them are kill x creatures, or kill x and gather drops. But there are quite many others that let you get involved with the local community - e.g. turn sprinklers, gather tea leaves, food materials. help catch pets. You dont really have to repeat them to level up. But unfortunately, there are alot of them and can feel grindy. But you dont really stay in the same area for long, the monsters in new areas are different. Plot/Dialogue The dialogues are ok, but it will largely depend on you. There's a heavy eastern flavor which westerners may not appreciate. otherwise it can be alright if you are patient enough to read them, some of them are quite funny too. The world and characters are also consistent through out. You see characters from earlier areas and their story remain consistent. Gear Gearwise you get a weapon at the beginning then other accessories as you progress the early game. The cloths are only cosmetic outfits and there's a pvp faction outfit in every area you can use to combat with players that are wearing the opposing pvp faction uniform. Unfortunately I think you can be lvl 10 and they can be lvl 45... To progress gearwise, you just upgrade them by feeding it weapon and accessory drops you get. There are multiple stages for each weapon and accessory, each stage contains 5 levels. to progress to the next stage after maxing out levels you need a class specific weapon or for accessories a specific accessory from a boss. The accessories are easy to get, but the class specific weapon can be a pain. The fastest would be to purchase from the market place or if its not tradable recommend you buy the special key that grants your class specific weapon and eliminates RNG. Money Money is sparse from level 1 to around level 30. Once you get to the area where monsters are around lvl 38 the quest rewards suddenly spike upwards in money rewards. and the money required to upgrade gears also spike upwards many times. Overall This is a very well made game, attention have been given to alot of details. Likes of this game I have not seen in others. If guild wars heart of thorns can get 85, this deserve much much better than a 0-6 score. This game does alot better.

Good game overall however most character events are a bit shallow. It leaves a lot to be desired in terms of real bonding and significance. It feels alot better than every other jrpg I have played. One interesting note is that the game both looks and sound better on a vita than a ps3. Im using the original vita with an OLED and a basic 24" monitor. The picture dont look as clear, as sharp, as bright. But it still does feel good playing on a bigger screen. There is also an adjustment option to change the width, height and brightness of the picture. I found the lowest brightness setting to be the best, but thats just personal preference. For sound, I used the same headphone - Creative Aurvana Live. Its a bit hard to explain but vita sounded better. its definitely not the volume, the sound was slightly sharper, more crystal and felt better. The PS3 sounded a bit hallow in comparison.

This game is an improved version of the game Argarest Generation of War. It has the same art texture, style and very similar user interface. The combat is still turn based but you are no longer on a board moving from grid to grid. Its now closer to ARPG where you move freely on the combat map and attack and activate skills. The story and character is ok, music is ok, but skill camera feels too close. The game graphics is a bit crude for a game of 2015 but the 2D art is really good. It feels more like a game for the vita though where you dont have much screen space. I have no idea why this is released for PS3 and PC, its not really fit for the big screen. It doesnt really look good. You do not need the character art taking up a third of the screen, and sometimes full screen for skills animation. Particularly when the 3d models look somewhat dated. it may not even qualify as 3d. The game is worth playing but dont think it will make you a super fan.

I've never played a settlers game before but I found it to be quite good and enjoyable. Certainly one of the good strategy games out there. The story line and dialogue is very basic but is very childlish. The downside I find is the game does not help you find where the bottle neck in your warehouse distribution chain is. The combat is a bit too simplistic. The AI is too weak. There should be stronger tiers of AI available. You want the AI to be more like a human player too.

10 years later trails in the sky FC is still my favourite RPG. Im currently playing Trails in the Sky FC Evolution and still cant helped but be impressed. no one ever came close make a game like this. All the negative and mix reviews are pretty much idiots, using words to bash the game without actually understanding and describing what the game is like and why they did not like it. The bright points for this game are: 1. Detailed and consistent game world that is very charming and soothing. There are many different things to discover, some hidden. 2. Good progression and story telling structure. time slowly progresses as main quest is completed. the game world changes as time progresses. NPCs stand in different locations and have different dialogues. Some have their own tiny stories that progresses with time. 3. Really good soothing and also exciting music that fits in well with the scenes. 4. combat system is very very unique. It has 3 aspects - a. a action order that can be manipulated and occasionally has random boons attached. (its really amazingly one of the mixed reviews didnt even understand what it is b. skill that require use of CP points. CP points are collected through dealing and receiving damage or as attached bonus in action order slot. c. magic (magic in this world is called "orbment" which relies on a device utilising power of crystal shards of different elements) there are 7 elements including time, sky (air), illusion. You dont learn the magic skills available, you obtain them by combining different "processed" shards from the workshop. The combat also has good animations. 5. very good storyline that is well planned and thought out. the bad spots: (rant against haters) I have absolutely no **** this game, i just simply cant think of one. i dont think there is any other game that I can say the same. the people that dont like it are the ones that dont have a clue about this game, all their comments are completely stupid. they are probably into different genres like action games. anything turn based even action order based **** to them. there's some guy is like he expected it to have depth like secret of mana. Im like pffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff. that is depth? the depth of this story is hell lot more amazing, the graphics is hell lot better, the game play, game world, combat system is worlds apart. another guy is like: combat is useless repetition over and over. that sounds pretty much like action games and pretty much every other game lol. and especially action games like diablo 3 that has a total of 4 skills you spam over and over and over in that hours and hours you do in the same map to the extent that your fingers hurt from all the clicking. and i bet he like that game alot more. the part about dodging enemies is pretty bs too, to have your whole party on the adventure map is quite refreshing, it make you feel more like you are travelling in a party. its still pretty easy to dodge, but you may not be able to cant dodge every single enemy on the map. and at least you can dodge. all other rpg is just random landmine and the combat just starts and you have to fight hell lot more. its not any harder to dodge than you average arpg. this complaint is completely bull. just looking for reason to trash. and its funny how those people only reviewed this one single game....

Technically speaking the game is great. Positive: Looks very pretty, good UI and good additional game modes and features. Good cinematic and cut-scenes. Campaign is very well done. You unlock different variants of units including popular ones from broodwar as you progress. Neutral: Real-time strategy game with a very heavy RPG influence maybe also Action game influence as well. Lots of special abilities to use. People to talk to in your base and level up your abilities in between missions. Many missions are very restrictive and heavily scripted, feels more like an RPG level. Not a big fan of this element. remember how the primal zerg from heart of the swarm is essentially the same as the diablo 3 boss lord of lies? thats what I mean. This game is essentially a hybrid which makes blizzard Amon lol. Music comes across very strong and dramatic, even good, but not quite great. doesnt resonate with the scenes to generate excitement. Music switch between different screens however is not well done, its just cut off and a different track suddenly blast at you - partly because the track starts off on full blast. so 1 sec quite, next second full blast and its not a pleasant ther. just doesnt fit together well. Negative: Missions are nothing new. Pretty much copies of wings of liberty and heart of the swarm. Defend temple/artifact, run from oblivion and giant laser. Multiplayer game is too fast paced. New units are grossly overpowered

- poor animation, unspectacular artwork. feels like an indie game. - music and sound are copied from heroes 6. for some reason the sound effect doesnt sound very good and sharp. - texture is a bit too gray, doesnt generate excitement or give a shadowy feel to the atomosphere. just feels unpolished. UI - some poor typsetting, no consideration given to style, some are just too big. - skill system unimpressive - resource system improved but for an old fan like me still doesnt satisfy. only two resource types of special resources - minerals and crystals. the original ones felt better suited to the game world and environment. - very poor introduction - no replay function for the intro scenes when you click the campaign button for the very first time. the audio replay for the first scenario brief just flat out didnt work, maybe in a particular circumstances only havent bothered to find out. still the core game play is still there. story is probably ok. so its passable. just really nothing spetacular. if you played heroes 6 or 5 this game very likely will feel vastly inferior.

The game has all the same voice actors and anime art - very pretty. If you like the SAO and want to play a game with all the female characters in it will be a ok game. The actual game play suffers from extremely limited features with very boring dungeon for the infinity moment portion lvl 75-lvl100. there is only 1 town with 3 very small areas with a few shops. The shops and items are mostly useless and can be done completely without - and that means gold is not very useful... However the game does have many weapons types for you to play and skills that goes with them. You can party with one female character at a time and each female character uses a different type of weapon. you can gift them better weapons to use and set their combat behaviour. the skills are mainly good looking weapon combos plus support skills. not all are useful. The hollow fragment portion of the game is alot better with better maps, events and boss fights. (more complex and interesting) one other thing to note is that there quite a few typos and a few grammar mistakes. translation isnt done too well, but mostly ok. some lines are completely different or just skipped. overall acceptable game but could have been alot better.
