The game promised so much when it was announced it was almost disappointing to see what the consumers ended up getting. It is more or less a parody/cartoon of what it was originally announced. No complex skeletal systems, different and simpler stages that were awfully repetitive, a low complexity limit with no true way to bypass it without the help of third party tools that is. Certain technical problem may prevent users from enjoying the complete game (I.E. not being able to log in due to some strange difficulties) But leaving that aside it is a great game, creating (both creatures and adventures) would be the game's best part in my opinion.

Dragon Ball: Fusions4

The game (both localized and original version) is really poor and now that I was expecting. I was expecting it to be a similar experience to Dragon Ball heroes (several timelines mixed together with fun activities to do and plethora of characters to choose from) It may be because it felt more like Dragon Ball Super instead of Dragon Ball itself that I felt disappointed. (I personally would've like it to be more GT oriented than DBS because of the space related story it manages but that is just my opinion) The localized version has absurd and senseless censorship while the original one still has exclusive features non Japanese speakign fans can enjoy such as special characters and online events. Sure, it has a lot of characters to choose from but most are either exclusive to the post game (under awfully specific conditions as well) or require really excruciating chains of quests for you to have access to them. That is if you don't mind having access to generic characters of course. The story was slightly lack luster but I comprehend that mixxing several different stories and timelines with their won inconsistencies and temporal impossibilities is not the easiest thing of the world. If you like Dragon Ball in general (by this I mean no preferences in absolutely anything related to the franchize) and don't mind artificially elongated gameplay then you probably will enjoy this game, else you would be better off playing some other Dragon Ball related game in other platform.

Digimon World Championship10

The game is wonderful, it indeed feels like an upgrade of the old Digimon V-Pets that are now either fairly rare and expensive or hoarded by collectors ergo not really available to the public. I enjoyed discovering the "secrets" that would allow you to raise many different creatures in the game and even though this was frustrating at times it still felt like a genuine V-Pet. Not too unfair and not excessively easy either. The only bad points of it would be the following: The game pacing is relatively quick, I didn't particularly mind this when I was raising my Digimon but when I had to be ready for a match it was such a hassle You can not have that many digimon because the amount of memory (each Digimon depending on species and generation tends to consume different amounts of memory to be kept) is airly low and even when you get to beat the "story mode" of the game it is still considerably low, therefore you must decide which Digimon to keep and which ones to release or sacrifice (should that be an option). I felt the amount of Digimon to raise was lower then it should have and would've prefer to have access to a few other Digimon but even with this I found the game to be quite enjoyable Good Points: The game pace is faster than the V-pets' are supposed to be, this means you can make your digimon evolve or become stronger in fairly little time and have them battle ready at any given point The password system: Even when Nintendo took the Wi-Fi down you can still have battles with your friends world wide thanks to a password system that allows other players to battle different teams owned by real players A nice post-game bonus! When you start the game you can have 3 Digimon battle on matches or against other players but you can not control any of them. When you get to beat the game and fulfil the Digimon Encyclopedia you gain control of all your digimon in a battle (one at a time) which honestly felt quite rewarding Evolving the digimon is a really fun experience once you know/have discovered the requisites and every time they "die" and get to be reborn as eggs they become stronger. You can hunt several species of Digimon in their natural habitats as if they were wild animals for you to tame, the time of the day/night and the season determines where will a species be located, this would mean that you would rarely find the same digimon over and over in the same maps as the years (in game years) pass.

Digimon World: Next Order4

I can't really say much, yes the ammount of digimon you can raise is nice but nothing extraordinary, there's some nice new digimon that have never appeared on any game before and the game introduces interesting a new features that indeed make the game entertaining. Now... it works exactly the same as the first digimon world.... Really? even a "prequel"(Digimon World Re: Digitize Decode for the 3DS) did a fairly better job in most aspects to the point of this game feeling like a downgrade. Since it is an exclusive of a console that is all graphics nothing else you would expect things such as maps, items and models to be gorgeous or at least decent looking enough. They are not (some maps are really nice but some others do feel like the one's another game has and this game is mobile exclusive). I would surely recommend playing it only if you have never played a Digimon game before so that your expectations can't get lowered by anything.

The DLC system, terrible models, lack of sounds (at least on the localized version) and terrible battle animations (without exaggerating I would say there's a total of 12~14 battle animations on the game) ruined the game for me. I was expecting something vastly different of what was shown as the final product. I would not recommend playing it unless you happen to A) Not live in Japan (there's a mobile game that is literally the same as this game, at least battle and content wise besides being free) B) Have no access to other consoles to play digimon games in C) Really like the franchize no matter what.
