Never watched nor read Harry Potter before, so I went into this game completely blind and not sure what to really expect. The game did a good job at teaching what different things were and what certain things meant, even if it wasn't important to gameplay, which helped me understand the world a bit more. The fighting felt fluid and amazing, the character customization was nice, the story was fun, the graphics were beautiful, this game was just amazing through and through.
Possibly the worst optimization I've ever seen in a game, I had to install a third-party program just to allow the game to run smoothly without crashing or lagging. That's my only complaint with the game, besides that, it's one of the best games I've ever played and the devs are amazing.
You know, I wasn't expecting a football or "soccer" game to be so fun and enjoyable, but I genuinely love this game. It's fun, the controls feel nice, the gameplay loop is good, the customization feels nice, an amazing game. Not much else to say about it.
The game has improved by a lot, there's so much to do and so much to explore, and building homes and bases on planets with other people is fun. My only complaint is the story for this game is really short and really lame, but the game mostly makes up for that with everything else you can do, and the devs are still to this day continuing to expand the content and things to do, even after all these years.
The modding for this game is amazing, and the game can be quite fun, however, the game is quite janky at times and in the most popular servers, you tend to see a lot of hackers on the game. The game can also be quite dead at times which is unfortunate.
This was one of my favorite VR FPS games of all time, I've spent hundreds of hours in it, but the game has a major issue. The game claims to moderate it's users and it's voice chat when in reality, it doesn't. Racists, homophobes, transphobes, any kind of phobe or ist you can think of, they run free and unmoderated in the servers of this game. The average player is most definitely one of those, and if you aren't, you're bullied, harassed, and even vote kicked from lobbies. If you have a trans or gay flag in your pfp, you get kicked, if you're a furry, you get kicked, if you're black, you get kicked, the community is by far the worst community I've ever seen on a game. If that wasn't enough, the game also ruined any chance of PC players thriving on the game by adding crossplay and switching to a different version of Unreal Engine, destroying the years worth of unique content added by mods. By then, most of the modders had left Pavlov and the modding in the game still to this day isn't like it use to be. It's a shame to see something that could've been so great turn into something so awful.
A short and simple game that's incredibly fun. It's not too hard but it's not too easy either, the items are fun and unique, and the multiplayer mode is very fun with friends and strangers. Given how cheap this game is, if you've never played it before, I highly recommend that you do.
The game was fun for a while, meaning a few hours, but after that the game just got really boring and repetitive. I tried to play this game some more and get more time out of it since I was gifted this game and felt that I needed to play it but I just couldn't. It's well made, just not that fun after a while.
The game is very fun and enjoyable to play, and with some of the more recent updates, a lot of the issues the game had were fixed. However, not enough people actually play this game for it to be playable. The only times I could play this was with friends as the game didn't have enough people online to create a lobby.
A very relaxing fishing game where you play as a silly little cat/dog thing. Some fun unlocks, some fun character customization, support to play instruments in-game with midi programs on your computer, and very addictive. I caught every fish, I unlocked every cosmetic, and bought every fishing rod. For a simple indie game, it's very enjoyable and very relaxing. Would recommend.
You can't transfer your PC save to the Switch, meaning if you played on PC and would like to play on Switch, you have to start over. Nothing, not even in-game purchases, transfers.
A very fun and enjoyable game. There's way too much in the game to cover here but my only complaint was the whole "light" mechanic where you need "light power" or something along those lines in order to progress in the later areas. Everything else was very fun and enjoyable. Would recommend.
The game is super fun and enjoyable, the graphics look nice, I like the customization, it's cool that you can earn items for this game inside Fortnite, and the game has a very high skill ceiling. Not only that, but probably the best optimization I've ever seen in a game. My laptop, which can't run Java Minecraft, ****, or even Garry's Mod without crashing or blue screening, can run this game at a solid and constant 30 FPS with no issues. My only complaint is how expensive some of the items in the item shop can be. Very fun game.
A good looking aesthetic, well designed maps, a very fun gameplay loop, genuinely can't complain about anything in this game. One of the best PvP games I've ever played, and has been super fun to play with friends. It's simple, it's fun, it's great.
Ah, yes, I love it when games are listed for free, only for you to find out that the game is, in-fact, not free after downloading it. A majority of the features and maps are locked behind a monthly/yearly paywall. The game is fun, it's really fun, but because of the monthly/yearly paywall blocking off most of the game, I can't rate it anything other than a zero. Actually disgusting.
The game is fun, the swordplay is very enjoyable, the parkour is great, but the story and game itself feels like it isn't done yet. This game could've had so much potential, it could've been so good, but the devs let it go and the game never got the attention it deserved. Truly a shame to see a game die like this.
I normally don't enjoy 2D games, I'm not sure why but something about them just drains me and I lose all motivation to play it, but this game, somehow, someway, made me play it non-stop until I finished all the available chapters. The story was a perfect mixture between serious, interesting, and funny, the characters are nicely designed, the music is beautiful, the sprites are well made, the combat mechanics are super fun, genuinely no complaints. I even tried to sit down and think of a complaint to put here but I just couldn't, I don't remember having even a single bad experience in this game besides skill issues, which are a me problem and not at all the game's fault. If you have not played it, I HIGHLY recommend you do.
It passes. I didn't mind the graphics, my main complaint is just how short it was. Think it took me 5 or 6 hours? Was really simple, the battles were too easy, and the game was over before I even had dinner. I also beat Cynthia's ass in one try, so I'm not sure why people were so scared of her. Maybe she's harder in normal diamond? Either way, disappointing. It's the bare minimum of what's needed for a Pokémon game to be passable.
The game is fun, the story is nice, pretty cool. The regional forms are great, I liked the clothing you could get in-game, and the whole style of the game is just brilliant. However, I do dislike the whole "style" mechanic during battles, no voice acting, bad graphics, short story, filling out the pokedex was a pain in the **** ass and not fun at all, and overall the game doesn't really last that long. If you cut out filling the pokedex, the game lasts maybe a few hours, but I literally completed this game in a day, unlike Violet and Z-A which took me 3-4 days, with Violet taking the longest (believe it took 7-10 days but I was distracted). Overall, kinda a disappointment story-wise, but it was Nintendo and Game Freak's first step in the right direction for what they should be doing with Pokémon Games. Though, with all the negatives, and especially the short story, which is a huge con for me, I can't rate it anything higher than a 7.
Very fun and enjoyable. I enjoyed the map, I enjoyed all the new Pokemon I could capture, I like the item fabricator you can abuse by changing your Switch's time settings to give yourself a bunch of master balls and XP candy, and I liked the absolute crap ton of legendarys you can hunt. My only complaint was that the first half of this DLC is ****, and that my frames constantly drop while in the main area. Other than that, I loved fighting the small gyms, I liked the end fight with Kieran, though I hate Kieran, and the new legendary is cute. Would recommend.
Part 1 was a complete waste of time, I genuinely wish I could say something good about it but I just can't. The story was incredibly boring and tedious, the Pokémon The Teal Mask focuses around all **** (except Ogerpon, we love Ogerpon), and Kieran was annoying as ****. The map didn't look cool or feel fun to explore, the town didn't look interesting, the festival was boring, and once again, low frame rate.
An actual open world Pokémon game with fun gyms, cool double battles, a cool legendary that you can use as your transportation, and classic Pokémon battling, I'd say this is one of the best Pokémon games of all time. With the DLC, I loved the huge range of Pokémon you could catch, filling out the dex took a while but was pretty fun, and I loved the content the DLC added to the game. Was it worth $30? Probably not, I'd say it's worth more like $20 since the extra content is alright but nothing that'd blow my socks off. So then, with all of this, why a 9? Why not a 10? Well, the game has several issues. Multi-billion dollar company funding game freak can't set aside enough money to make the graphics not look like ass, tons of visual bugs at release, the game even to this day has constant FPS drops and lag spikes, nearly half of all the Pokémon in the game are locked behind a $30 pay wall, terrestialization is ASS and we should've had megas instead, the story is very cringe, fun, but cringe, and STILL NO VOICE ACTING. Actually insane. But, given just how many Pokémon are in this game and the amount of hours I've dumped into it, and how long and enjoyable the game is, I'd give it a solid 9. I'd recommend it.
I understand why a lot of people are rating this game as disappointing, but to immediately say it's the worst and rating it a 0 is a bit of an overreaction. To get the bad stuff out of the way, the graphics of this game are incredibly sad, I wouldn't say bad, but definitely sad. The buildings are like PNGs slapped on a brick with no depth added to it except for the roof, the render distance is incredibly low and things constantly load and "de-load" within a block or so of the player, the dialogue options feel very limited, and the price is incredibly outrageous for what's offered. The game is, at most, worth $40-$50, and the DLC should only be maybe $1-$2 as it only gives the player a set of additional clothing. I honestly feel bad for Game Freak sometimes, as I know a lot of the graphical issues are Nintendo's fault, not theirs. In the recent leaks Nintendo had, people had access to beta and dev builds of previous Pokémon games, and in the dev builds, games like Legends Arceus and Scarlet/Violet had a lot more detail, but something prevented them from doing that. I wouldn't, and didn't, pay $70 for this game, nor would I pay $30 for the DLC. I'm lucky I was gifted this game, because I do genuinely enjoy it. Yes, it has issues, but I had way too much fun on this game to rate it anything lower than an eight. The new battle mechanics are fun and enjoyable, the city environment felt cozy and I loved the small parkour you did with the scaffolding around the city. The story actually felt interesting and wasn't cringe like Scarlet and Violet's starfall street story. I liked the addition that shiny Pokémon won't despawn, I liked the catching mechanics, I liked the player customization, though I do wish there were more hairstyles, and I liked the other characters in the story. If this game went on sale, I would recommend playing it.
