I've played very close to 1100 hours of this game by now, and that number is only going up. You'll only ever know you enjoy it if you play it and try for yourself. For me, that absurd amount of time should speak for itself.

This is a very well rounded grand strategy game. It has many addictive and very immersive features that have kept me playing for hours. The unprecedented level of control you have over the economy, government, and military is very fun and rarely gets old. Despite it's good qualities, it has some pretty big problems. The AI are total morons and are terribly coded, and the multiplayer is a broken feature. Not only is there no match making or even serve browser (you can only connect via LAN) when you do get playing, stats and features displayed to each player almost immeidately go out of sync. Over all good, but much improvement is needed.

Brought to my attention by PC Gamer, I do not regret at all buying it. The story in depth and expansive, and is truly choice oriented. The art style and sprite based animations fills me with nostalgia. I am playing it for the first time, 14 years after its release, and it seems to have aged very well. THE best top down RPG ever made, and argueably one of the best games ever made.

In my opinion, one of the finest games ever made. My inexperience at explaining will never this game justice. The pure statisfaction and depth most games are missing is found in abundance here.

Easily one of the best games I've ever played. Incredibly deep story, rich gameplay, while not compromising the features that make it distinctly BioShock. Definitely recommend.
