Metroid: Other M8
Jul 14, 2012
The game play is superb, and the storyline was enough to keep me interested. The thing I disliked about this game is how it took a strong willed woman like Samus and made her a whiny little baby at times with a thousand insecurities. I can get over that though as I did enjoy the game play and I thought it was a lot of fun to play.

NCAA Football 137

When it comes down to it, football is football. Seriously what do you want them to do with it that they aren't already working on? It's not like a platformer where you can come up with new stages and powers, because this isn't a platformer, it's a sports game! This game isn't groundbreaking but it took some steps in the right direction. Hopfeully they can build on this game and improve the series.

Mario Kart Wii8

The Mario Kart series do something very curious which is they seem to get progressively better with each game. The only reason to play the older games is to play old courses I liked. Lots to unlock on this game but eventually it becomes boring. I only use it to play online now and online is hacked and glitched to pieces. Still fun to play online with friends though, if you have their friend code. Play with a Wiimote and Numchuk though, as the new Wii Wheel controls ****.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past / Four Swords10

I cant decide on my favorite Zelda game, being an avid fan of the series, but this one seems to be leading the race right now, there's just nothing negative about this game. I enjoyed every dungeon and every boss battle, the old graphics don't inhibit it, if anything it makes the game better. I recommend this game to just about everyone.

Mario Party10
Jan 21, 2012
The original and still one of the best ones. This game is awesome, I love every part of it, the newer ones have more characters, more stages, a different playing styles, but this my favorite Mario Party. Nostalgia may be playing a big role in my love for this game but it doesn't matter to me. I'll still play this game on my N64 to this day.

Pokemon SoulSilver Version10
Jan 21, 2012
Playing this game was pure nostalgia for me. I haven't played a Pokemon game in a while because I'm tired of playing the same game over and over again, but when I heard they were releasing a remake of one of my fondest games as a child I went out and bought it. I'm pleased to report that it didn't disappoint either. I highly recommend this game, especially to those who grew up playing it.

Metroid Prime Trilogy10

I loved all three of these games when they came out, now they're all in one and the first two have Wii controls? What's not to love? The Wii controls made the first two play smoother and multiplayer mode was actually fun and competitive because of the new controls. I would have given all of the games separately high scores but all together with improved controls, this can be nothing short of a 10.

Significantly less frustrating than NCAA Football 12, this is a very fun football game and the rookie scouting thing is cool. Although I feel like that makes it too easy though, I can have a team who's entire starting roster is 90+ with A potential in like 3-5 seasons, depending on what team I start with. Also I don't know if it's different for everyone else but it seems to me like importing a graduating class from NCAA doesn't work. I enjoy this game none the less though

I really enjoyed playing this game, at times... The new features in Road to Glory and Dynasty are admittedly awesome but this game is insanely frustrating. It's like my WRs don't know how to play the game of football, either the ball will hit them in the head or go sailing right past their faces. I've also had defenders literally run through my WR and pick off passes. Also sometimes the game will just strait up make it impossible to win at times. I've had my share of frustration playing this game but that doesn't mean I don't like it. I like it a lot actually. That's why I'm giving it a positive review, even with all my complaints.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl9
Jan 21, 2012
It's a very good fighting game, and it's also kid friendly unlike other fighters like Soul Calibur and Mortal Kombat. This game is better played with friends though. Playing alone this game has a hard time keeping it's appeal, but with others it is a great game that I highly recommend. The new features in this game such as stage building and a comprehensive story line greatly increase the appeal. Online play is dreadful, but aside from that as long as there are friends to play with, I saw Brawl on.
