Mass Effect 32

Disappointment, is the word I would sum this game up with. Mass Effect 3, being a last game in a ME trilogy abandons most of the things that made Mass Effect 1 or 2 so successful. The story of this game, revolving around a mysterious alien device nobody knows anything about is full of plotholes and irrationalities. The gameplay is an improved version of Mass Effect 2, which still abandons most of RPG qualities as it's predecessor did. If that wasn't bad enough, Bioware decided to strip the player out of choices and if there is any they consequences are very similar making the choice itself meaningless. The characters and the world respond to every dialogue option in a very similar way making the whole Paragon/Renegade morality system totally worthless. While a player can import a save from the Mass Effect 2, he/she have to be aware that it doesn't make much of a difference, as possibly dead characters from Mass Effect 2 are replaced on the spot with another new/old character without any noteworthy consequence. There is no choice which mission you want to do, unlike in Mass Effect 1/2, here you just jump from one main mission to the other, linearly going forward to maybe the most disappointing ending in history of videogames. Bad writing, lack of logic, lack of choices and consequences means that this game isn't what it is advertised to be. Add annoying control scheme on PC and you have one of the worst game I have ever played and certainly the most disappointing one. Only redeeming quality of this game is it's soundtrack. Overall, 2/10 stay away.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings9

A great RPG, with mature non-linear story, interesting characters and stunning graphics and soundtrack. It's a must for every RPG fan that likes his games to have a good story, likes the grim fantasy world and likes his choices to make a difference. Witcher's issues are seriously minor, combat is more tactical than hack&slashy, and personally I had ever issue with the inventory system. Overall, a very good game, that seriously kicks arse of other RPGs on the market. A newcomer to the series may be a bit lost but if what I wrote sounds interesting to you go ahead and buy it. And a disclaimer it's not a game for kids.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim7

TES V: Skryim open world fantasy RPG that **** You in more than anything and anyone before. Let's talk about the main story of this game... Em... Oh, right, dragons and stuff... yeah. Main story is hardly a strong point of this game. It's all about the exploring and side-quests... and with this Skyrim is damn good. Forget about sleep, forget about food, forget about girlfriend/boyfriend there is another cave to explore! Graphics are good but nothing over the top... but who cares, really? This game is clearly not about graphics. Soundtrack is good and climatic, gameplay is very enjoyable. This game is damn good. Of course is has some minuses: the main storyline is short and it will never be the factor that keeps you playing. Characters are forgettable. There are some bugs here and there but patches are made short work from most of them. And also... Mods support will make You play this game more... and more... and more. TES V: Skyrim certainly worth having.

As every at-least-average MMO game this game **** You in... for a few hours. Not to say that it's a bad game. It's clear that some attention was put into backstory, gameplay is pleasant while not innovative, graphics are looking very well and I have to say I enjoyed the art-style of this game. However... Sometimes You can get lost in features of this game that's not a negative... if You can get back on track and grasp what's going on, but You'll be sure to feel a bit lost for some time. Quests are generic but to be fair... that's to be expected. Overall, the game is not bad, but it did not manage to keep me interested. But if You think it's something for You and You have some times to waste- give it a shot.

Age of Empires Online3

I'll keep this short as I really do not have much to talk about here... While it may seem colourful and good-looking and "oh, it's the age of empires"... This game in uninspiring and straight-forward boring.

Fable III5

This game is a mixed bag. As a console port this game has really low-res textures that sometimes hurt the eye... but sometimes I was simply enjoying the view and colours of the locations I've came across. The other thing everyone would suspect will be terrible controls... are actually pretty good. I never had an issue with them, mouse works nicely no issue here. The story is linear but that doens't mean it's terrible, it's decent enough to not stand in your way... "In your way while You are doing what?" somebody may ask? And I say... hacking and slashing, doing sidequests, exploring... Have to say that despite locations are not very big exploring is actually really fun. Sidequests are well written and enjoyable. The RPG elements of this game... have very little relevance. The game overall is... average, but if You'll just take off Your brakes of seriousness, You'll be able to enjoy this game and maybe even get orgasmic about wonderful soundtrack this game has.

Mass Effect 3: Citadel1

"Bioware finally listened" said BSN. Right. I You would pay me this much I would possibly listen too. Basically, this DLC is one big pile of "fan-service". I use quotation marks because I think there is a difference between "fan-service" and "arse-licking". But as it is... I has done it's job for EA as all these people giving it a loud applaud are certainly more likely to buy the sequel to Mass Effect 3. So as it is for me Citadel DLC: overpriced, unfitting, hardly funny, way past good taste. Enjoy You pile of goo and be ready to buy ME4 with day-one-dlc, DRM, etc.
