So far I really like it. I've been having the problem for years with horror games not scaring me, at all. Well this one feels a little more creepy and claustrophobic and atmospheric than most. Part of it is the awful film grain filter the game uses, and part of it is the slightly sluggish survival horror style controls, but in this case I'd say they're a good thing. They make the player feel vulnerable, and to me, you CAN NOT have a scary game, unless it makes the player feel vulnerable. This one does. I feel the same way about the original Slender game (not the Arrival). It was super dark, unforgiving as hell, you didn't feel powerful or athletic AT ALL, and because of that it was the most a game has scared me. Even more so than the highlight of Dead Space 2 which I don't even want to spoil. It does require that you've played the first dead space to have its full effect but lets just say it was a masterfully done nod to the first game that makes you feel an incredible sense of dread the second you realize what's happening.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild9

I'm giving it a 9/10 so far, and I still think Horizon is the better game based on its combat and story and it's more linear nature (a good thing IMO, some times open world games are too open IMO) but wow, Zelda is incredible. I might change my opinion after I've beaten it though. I enjoy the story, I just hope it goes somewhere aside from what's totally predictable. I'd love to see an epic ending for this epic game but we'll see. All the haters giving bad reviews are so stupid it's really hilarious. You can't even get mad about it, that's how dumb they are. No one agrees with them besides. Also the comments about this having bad graphics show the complete ignorance most gamers have when it comes to graphics. It's like they're blind. The deal with BoTW is yes, it does have last gen textures, and relatively simple geometry, but it absolutely excels when it comes to lighting and atmospherics. The lighting and atmospheric effects are far beyond anything in last generations. Much like the Last Guardian. Pretty much the same exact story with that game graphically. Another gorgeous game where all people can do is look at a texture and proclaim the graphics are bad. That's not how graphics work. Hate to break it to these people but lighting always has, and always will be far more important than textures. You could use the most detailed textures, and photo grammetry techniques to produce a ridiculously detailed game, but without quality PBR shaders, global illumination, ambient occlusion, shadowing and bounce light, it would look as flat as a PS2 game. Uncharted 4 isn't the best looking game in the business because of its textures, it's because of its lighting. Same with GT Sport. Zelda looks gorgeous you morons.

The most well polished GT game ever with the second best/most realistic gameplay and force feedback on console (second only to Assetto Corsa), and a solid base for what could very well become the overall best racing game ever made. We'll see what happens with post launch support but as a starting point, it's a 10/10 effort from PD and the most addictive game I've played since Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain. They've done so many things to fix the problems of past GT games like poor sound, poor AI, poor online racing, poor UI, unpolished graphics, poor framerate (GT6), etc. and they've literally fixed all of those. All of those factors are now fantastic in GT Sport, as well as the things GT has always been known for. Yet now you have people whining about something else proving you can never satisfy everyone. They said this was to be an online focused GT game, and it is. People came in expecting the traditional and overdone GT career mode, and it's there but shorter and different so they whine and cry about it. News flash idiots, EXPECTATIONS HAVE NO AFFECT ON REALITY. The game is what it is, you not doing your research into what this game would be does not change the legitimate quality of the game. So many reviews on here are straight up lying as well. IT IS NOT AN ALWAYS ONLINE GAME. These people are being completely misleading and dishonest. It is playable offline. If you have no connection to the internet at all, I wouldn't recommend it because you'd be limited to only a few cars and 3 tracks, but it is still factually not an online only title.

With a gamepad - 9/10 Without one - 6/10 It's amazing on PS Vita but you really need physical controls for this one. Motion controls just aren't twitchy or accurate enough to play this. But like I said, if it has gamepad support on iOs, it's awesome. Addictive as hell. Badlands has the same issue. SO MUCH BETTER on the PS Vita than it is on a phone.

A hidden gem for sure. Also, at $5, this is really a must have for Vita owners IMO. The gameplay itself is really fun, addictive as hell, and provides plenty of challenge even if you don't get into beating your best scores/times. It's basically a stunt flying/racing game. You fly through tight tunnels at insane speeds, avoiding obstacles. The controls are actually very good as is the 60 fps framerate. There's a ton of levels, and even a few bonus levels which set themselves apart from the rest. There's also a range of ships you can unlock. The graphics are also definitely good for a 60 fps Vita game. It's very easy to pick up and play, but hard to put down so make sure you keep an eye on the time because 10 minutes can fly by as if it were 2. It's really that addictive and engrossing. Highly recommend it. If you own a Vita, don't hesitate, just buy it.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End10

Hands down the best game on PS4 so far, one of the best games of all time period, best third person shooter gameplay ever, best third person shooter multiplayer mode ever, best graphics ever in a video game (so far, and yes, even compared to 4k games on PC), possibly the best sound design and voice acting ever in a game, and one of the best conclusions to a series ever. Need I say more?

Mirror's Edge Catalyst10
Jun 17, 2016
One of the greatest sequels ever made. Up there with Assassins Creed 2 as far as a sequel that builds, and completely improves upon the original in almost every single way but not only that, it's easily one of the best games on PS4 in its own right. Parkour has never been so much fun. Well, in a video game I mean, I don't do it IRL. The gameplay is just awesome, much more intuitive and smooth than the first one, and the missions as well are much more varied and interesting. There's also a ridiculous amount of things to do in the city in addition to user created content. I was skeptical about the open world setting, linear games are typically better, more focused, and I seriously loved the first Mirror's Edge but bottom line, this is where Mirror's edge belongs. The world they have crafted is just too perfect to lock it down to linear missions. And I always did kind of have that feeling in the first one. It always bums me out when a video game gives you an amazing city skyline but doesn't really let you explore any of it. That is not the case with this one. You get to explore most of the highlights of this amazing city. One of which is the new "Shard" which looks like it's at least 1 mile tall if not 2 (so cool). the graphics are great for the most part. 900p is a big drawback though. Like most 900p games it always looks fuzzy and frankly subpar. Otherwise the game is gorgeous and features an amazing art style, excellent lighting, nice reflections, and surprisingly great character models and facial animations. Sometimes there are some subpar decals/textures though (the ALLCOM logos next to many of the circuit boxes) The story is another big surprise. It does somewhat retread some elements of the first game (it is based on the same basic plot ideas after all, it's mirror's edge) but otherwise it was much better than I expected and infinitely better than the first game. I didn't mind the story in the first game but it was at times way too cheesey. This on the other hand was much more mature and well written in addition to being less predictable but I won't go into spoilers. Overall, this is a perfect sequel, it is everything I hoped it would be, and for that I'm giving it a perfect score. And seriously F%^& all the idiotic haters. It's the first game all over again with these idiotic reviews and moronic gamers. People always want something unique and innovative until they actually get it. You all can burn in hell. EA took a risk making this game, and because of **** like you people, we might not get a third one

Killzone: Shadow Fall10
Nov 19, 2013
Such an awesome game. I'm already on my second playthrough. The gameplay is so much fun. The graphics are the best ever in a game (unless you have a 4K TV, not even Metro Last Light or Crysis 3 on 1440p ultra settings looks better). The really impressive thing is that the gameplay is Shadow Fall's strong point, not the graphics. Not only is the shooting amazing, it's so good that it doesn't even have auto aim in it because of how good it feels. The OWL and tactical echo allow you to carefully plan how you want to play as do the much larger and more open levels. The story is great. It's very intriguing and more relatable than past Killzones. Believe it or not, this game does make you think about your own morality. It's not just a bro shooter like CoD or BF4. The setting is absolutely incredible. From the dark and atmospheric slums of New Helghan, to the absolutely gorgeous Vekta City. Plus there are some surprise locations along the way including a trip to a VSA battle cruiser near their sun. The multiplayer is back and better than ever. It's fast paced and balanced and unlike CoD or BF4, it actually rewards the skilled players instead of holding noobs hands. Also, there is no XP system, and all weapons are unlocked from the start. The Custom Warzones add in an interesting element as well and will provide so much replayability to this game. Unlike in CoD, anybody with the game can join, not just friends, and unlike BF4, you don't need to pay a fortune to make a custom server. Don't like dealing with certain weapons and abilities? Make a warzone that excludes them. It's as simple as that. Also, Shadow Fall does use dedicated servers. Overall, my only complaint is that the game doesn't have an option to swap the analog sticks for players like me who learned to play FPS's on N64, and therefore need to aim with the left stick, not the right. Though I did contact GG on twitter, 3 of them said they're looking into adding it so hopefully they fix that.
