A decent game in the series with innovative ideas for adding more instruments, the graphics take a bit of a hit but there's a lot of character options.
A decent game, the characterizations of the characters used from the series vary from strange to downright bizzare as well as the designs, but the gameplay proper is rather fun.
Novel idea, probably more enjoyable to the competitively minded than it is to the casual player because there's not much in terms of game modes in this game to play with.
Formulaic, bland, not extremely fun, Kingdom Hearts III makes me forget what it was I even enjoyed about previous games in the series whenever I think about it.
Best guitar hero game, continues to tell the story of its genre defined characters and add more to the table, incredibly fun designs and mechanics as well as music choice.
Just generally not very fun I can't imagine someone thinking a fighting game should be based on essentially quicktime events and quicktime events only.
Seemingly rushed, this game doesn't provide much in terms of story or the stories of its characters as opposed to previous titles, the ability to edit weapons' appearance freely is nice though.
The best Dragon Ball fighter to date, fast paced content that feels close to action portrayed in the show/comic with the largest roaster, enough is done in most parts that every character feels somewhat different from each other.
The best Crash Bandicoot game, if it was finished as it was intended it would be one of the best games period, the music is incredible and the gameplay most times works on intuition in a way that's just right.
A fine enough distraction, the mechanics are broken as to always be skewed in your favor but the fair amount of unlockables and bonuses for exploration are nice.
Amazing take on 3d RPGs for this era, very fun, the soundtrack has bops and the enemies in combat are just engaging enough to make the repetitive nature of it never feel as such. Love the weapons system.
An unfun experience, the artstyle has been drastically hit from what was expected in previous games, the characters are flandarized here even by the standards of the previous game, and the main character specifically makes some weird and stupid decisions. I can't recommend.
Not as good as previous installments in terms of story or gameplay. The new gameplay mechanic of using enemies techniques is interesting, music and visuals still appealing.
Amazing visuals and sound, absolutely definitive in establishing Castlevania playing in this Metroid-esque way. The game allows you to get ridiculously strong with the amount of tools Alucard ends up accumulating, this kills challenge but in a way adds to the enjoyment factor of SotN in particular.
A very hard to complete game, glitches are required. Bosses have far too much health, Nathan deals far too little damage, the Castle is designed in many parts to trick you into thinking you're progressing only to drop you into a pit far back from where you were.
An amazing upgrade in every way from SoulCalibur 2 except for the difficulty, this is the closest a PS2 game has ever felt to wanting quarters out of my pocket to continue onwards. The AI is ruthless.
A model SoulCalibur game in terms of mechanics and unlockables, the ai still has that classic Arcade ai difficulty at times but it definitely doesn't hamper the experience that bad.
Everything about this game from the mechanics to the UI gives anxiety, the toppest of the top line teams are required to even successfully beat side missions in this game made to unlock things due to the slow drip feed of premium currency.
Absolutely fine game, what it lacks on tight controls in combat it makes up for in vibes, music and art direction. This experience more than paves the way for future titles.
Enjoyable game, admirable concept of trying to include all characters from Mortal Kombat history in this one, sadly this has the side effect of making many not feel very distinctive. This game doesn't have the vibes of Deadly Alliance nor the extra effort of Deception, with the story mode giving you a boring linear repetitive beat em up slogfest. But I feel like what is here makes up for it and still gives for a fun time.
Amazing sequel to Deadly Alliance, carrying over most of its usual features but falling behind on aesthetics in comparison, what is added that's new is incredible, being able to fully explore the Mortal Kombat universe in an open world is fantastic and the minigames only included with this title will be sorely missed in future ones.
Best Mortal Kombat game, characters are distinct in terms of design and gameplay with most having stories that branch off in completely different directions, the presentation and music is top notch and consistently great. This game also manages to weave in story with a tutorial for how all characters play amazingly well.
Middle of the road, its lows don't sink as far as the previous game's but it doesn't rise much higher. The story mode is enjoyable, but the post story content for the game is extremely hit and miss, this game's main defining unlockable is different skins and color palettes for the fighters though if you don't play online you're not given extremely much to do with them.
