This game is miserable, not only by the standards set by the Gundam Breaker series but by the standards of all action games. It's performance is unbelievably awful. It stutters and freezes constantly during gameplay while achieving framerates upwards of 10-15 whole frames of animation per second. Worse still, it is almost as pathetic during simple menu navigation. Actually playing the game involves nothing so much as stumbling jerkily around overly large and empty environments, slapping enemies with all the force and impact of a feather duster and constantly getting bounced back and forth by the dozens and dozens of enemies that spawn instantaneously and out of thin air between you and any goal. Supposing you suffer through a mission to completion you'll find yourself either in the "story" mode or at the main menu. The story is the blandest most uninteresting anime highschool fanfiction you could ever conceive. It's not worth reading in the least but even if you did want to read it you can't. All the text in this mode is shown as while text on white textbox with a striped translucent background. You wont be able to read anything let alone recognise the letters. What's left, and the monly notable thing about this game, is the mobile suit designer. It's on par with Gundam Breaker 3. Not significantly better or significantly worse. There are changes to the combat which impact the design, like abilities assigned to parts now rather than selected directly and "frames" determining baseline stats and some other nonsense you'll be too frustrated to notice, but they're minimal. What IS new however is the way the game actively disincentivises designing, investing and becoming in any way attached to your creations. You see, not only will your parts be knocked off during combat, of the pieces you recover from destoyed enemies(or your own robot) only a handfull with be accessible to reattach during combat at any time. Once you return from a mission your mobile suit will be a hodgepodge of pieces you started with and random pieces you scrounged as the combat wore on. And that is by design! See, none of the pieces level up or improve in any way so the game WANTS you to regularly discard whatever you have and replace it with the random crap you find on the floor. And if you assumed there would be some in-game store where you could purchase optional parts or new kits and completed designs you're wrong. There is nothing but what you find and actively pick up yourself and it's all garbage to be replaced immediately afterwards. This game is pathetic. I looks nice very occasionally when nothing onscreen is moving and you could conceivably make something cool looking and if it had only been free a virtual robot designer which let you save screenshots it might've been a decent way to kill time on your lunch break but this is awful. Just awful.
