Did you play the original Digimon World on th playstation 1 and love it? Have you been disappointed by the lack of a real sequel or successor? Then this is the game for you. It brings back the systems you miss, adds more mechanics and even more digimon. If you've ever wanted a more intimate creature raising game that isn't Pokemon or SMT, then this is worth checking out as well. You actually have to raise and care for your Digimon (feeding, taking to bathroom, watching their weight etc) instead of just fighting. Pros: Plenty of content. Story is nice and has that perfect digimon mix of light-hearted comedy and dark themes. Music is pretty good (a little repetitive at times though) There's a ton of Digimon to raise and lots of strategies you can utilize. Cons: There is a constant grind. You always need something, but if you play alot of JRPGs, this isn't new to you. Some Megas have some ridiculous conditions to get. The game somehow both hand holds and doesn't explain everything well enough. Game has pretty big difficulty curve.

Please do not jump on the hate train for this game, because most of the negative reviews aren't giving it a proper chance. The only real issue with the game is that it is a bit buggy (no worse than alot of multiplayer games though.) I have encountered nothing game breaking. The environmental story telling and lore via terminals is pretty too notch as well. This has always been one aspect I felt Bethesda excelled at (retcons aside). Overall the game is oretty fun and dies very much feel like fallout. Not the best entry in the series, but certainly isn't worth the hate it's getting.
