A great game full of dark crude humor. Not particularly scary, but rather gruesome and disgusting in a very funny and childish way. The artwork is very creative and original. The puzzles are not too hard. You will enjoy it.
It's a good full action shooter. Until the half it seems like an uninteresting story but after that it gets darker and darker, the artistic creativity gets better rand better, sometimes nearing a masterpiece. The apocalyptic desert setting is quite original actually. The gameplay is easy to learn but some fights are very difficult, there are lots of weapons.
I have enough of these games without saves and that you can't change controls ! Also very poorly optimized with huge FPS problems. Have some respect for PC gamers !
Nice little game. Atmosphere and music are great. Revenge is sweet. Gameplay is simple. 1) Choose a weapon which will best keep the suspicion away from you. 2) Plant a fake evidence to put blame on someone else 3) Interview with the investigator and convince him.
A great addition to the text-based gothic adventure genre, following the example of Sunless Sea. A creative original fantasy realm, deep complex characters and lots of adventures, survival is much easier than the Sunless Sea, combats are turn based and path-finding is almost automatic. Very enjoyable.
Worst controls and camera angles ever ! Completely unacceptable in 2015 ! They completely kill the game and the whole atmosphere. You call it "remastered" !?! Try again !
Good adventure game. Nice setting and story, interesting content. I didn't play the original 2d game but the new version seems quite good, both visually and audio-wise. There were some rough edges though, like some slow-paced animations, and some overly-heroic teenager stuff. Overall nice game. And you will learn a lot about Woodoo.
It's a great game, it summarizes the modern human tragedy without a single world, but with strong symbolism. It creates a perfect fearful atmosphere by masterful camera angles, using extreme loneliness, wastelands and huge deep waters and lots of echoes. I wish a similar game were made for a Lovecraftian theme.
Great, deep adventure game. Graphics and gameplay are somewhat simplistic but the story is very original with nice occasional humor. Also it's a bit short and needs more voice-acting for better immersion. But overall a great point&click adventure.

Great point&click horror adventure. The story is very interesting and original. The black&white hand-drawn gameplay is perfect. The puzzles are just moderately difficult and logically consistent and creative. It is simple but deep.
Good horror game. A must-buy if you love the genre and dark grotesque classical art. It's just on the border being of a walking simulator, but it's no problem since it manages to frighten you enough. Following the gameplay style of Amnesia and Penumbra series, the horror aspect mostly rely on hallucinations and ever-changing realities and distortions. The visuals are great, with greatly detailed indoors, perfect dynamic shadows and lighting. Honestly I've never seen a better colored game before, it's over-realistic.
Great game, in the same line and level of Gemini Rue. Simple gameplay, great artwork, very deep fictional futuristic dystopia, nice moral lessons, creative and mature. It definitely deserves sequels or new games based on the same fictional world.

It is also an artistic masterpiece, gameplay is quite simple, with some nice mini games. Don't let cover fool you. It's an extremely mature game considering the moral lesson it gives. I played this game few years after its release, and it seems it no longer has the optimization problems it had before, although it is still very taxing on your hardware, and you can't turn off some graphical settings. These aside, it is true masterpiece, like first game in the series, better graphics, great gameplay, darker atmosphere, deep characters and a great plot. Besides, there tons of lore, reading and audio material which are very immersive. It is worth your every penny.
A masterpiece ! It seems like the PC version is so underrated. Not only one of the best puzzle games I've ever played, it also has solid story. Everything about this is so elite and stylish and geniusly creative. The design is both simple and minimalist but also very rich in content. Also, deep inside, it has a solid horror aspect in it, which leaves you with so many unanswered questions. Buy it if you like classical art and clockwork mechanisms.
There is potential in this genre and in this gameplay style, but the end result for this game isn't satisfying. The story is pretty boring and unoriginal, combat is repetitive and straightforward, the characters are shallow, generic, too much heroism and teenage, the enemies are pretty generic copy cats of goblins and orcs and liches under different names, too focused on combat and looting but not enough dialogues. The graphics are ok and the hand drawn art work are fine, the interface is a bir slow and clunky but the design look good. It needs lots of polish and a much better story.
A great game. Perfect graphics, great gameplay, exciting battles, good ai, decent story, lots of content, lots of weapon and crafting, huge map. If I make a little criticism: characters might have been a bit deeper, and a mature atmosphere would be better with a little bir less bullet-hell style.
Whomever gives this game a positive review, they either never played a quality horror game before or intentionally makes this game a huge favor ! This is not even a very bad "Amnesia" copy. The graphics, the animations, the sounds, the story (the lack of it), the meaningless ****. Everything about this game looks so unfinished and so empty. A horror game should terrify you, not kill you 1527 times just after you open the second door. What a waste !
This game deserves a much better overall score, I think it's severely underrated. This is a pure artistical masterpiece. A gothic and grotesque jewel for true, mature nihilists. It's hard to stomach for everyone, but for those who can, it is more dark peaceful and sad than disturbing. Furthermore, it gives you a solid story with a good amount of moral dilemmas, chances of confrontation with true guilt, a good amount of sense of meaninglessness. It certainly deserves a sequel.
Mediocre at best. Bad controls, you can only shoot straight, very repetitive gameplay, flat colorless characters, uninteresting story, I gave 5/10 just to appreciate the effort.
Very good game. Nice, minimalistic design, superb soundtrack, crude humor, challenging gameplay. Plus, the protagonist is super cool with his skull and fur coat. And all the little touches such as the chimney, the cat, the car and the scythe are just perfect. Some stronger narrative would be better though.
Great game. An artistical masterpiece, the gameplay is also much improved since the first two games in the series. I think the next game should be more on the choice-based RPG side than a classical shooter. A little criticism though about dialogues and other sound-based narrative and lore: please make sure different captions and voice-actings do not overlap too much next time, it makes following the story very difficult at times, especially for the non-native english speakers.
The best text-based "choices-matter" RPG that I've played so far. Great victorian steampunk atmosphere, a creative plot with deep characters. The writer always manages to hit the right notes, nicely done.
Great game. Great atmosphere. It gives you a perfect assassin experience. There are many different ways of killing your targets. You can go right in to a bullet-hell, or use stealth, create deceptions, use poisoning or explosives. Level designs and gameplay are great too. Very detailed and immersive. I liked the story too and the characters are deep, with occasional sense of humor.
Great text-based game, I am waiting for the second book with excitement. The fictional universe, although not completely original, has an interesting, creative plot. Playing a detective in a gloomy world with vampires and other supernaturals is exactly my kind of setting. Keep up the good work.
Great text-based, interactive **** original creative universe, with an original concept of magic and magical schools. The plot is interesting and you have many different choices about how to engage in it. Text-based, deep story RPGs in which your choices matter a lot are my favourite, I recommend it to every one who's not a lazy reader. It definitely deserves a sequel or even more. A little criticism: There is just a bit too much allusion to the modern life, which is sometimes humorous, but often kills the immersive atmosphere. I hope developers keep that in mind.
A nice little game, with beautiful hand-drawn black-white scenes. The gameplay is ok, with some funny frequent deaths, therefore you need to save a lot. It ends in a few hours at most.
Good game and very creative. Not particularly scary, but more like disturbing. It is good that it has different endings. It's not difficult, it's pretty much just dialogues, reading texts, watching videos and photos. The best and the most creative part is that it strongly questions your morality, by making you use someone else's phone, involving their internet activity etc. İn its core, it questions the social media and our fake internet personas. It has some good points on these. I think the horror aspect could have better and enriched. Better visuals and sound effects were needed for deeper immersion.
For an hardcore player of the horror genre, the game is just above average in all aspects. There are some creative things, but mostly it's just a mediocre copy of the Amnesia: Dark Descent. The most frustrating thing is, you can't change the controls !!!
This is a great game, really one of a kind. It's both an artistic and technical masterpiece. I think there is much more jewel to discover in it, so it definitely needs a sequel or more. This game is about childhood fears and sadness, it's as depressing as scary. It will also give you moral dilemmas and disturb your conscience. I gave 9 out of 10 because, it doesn't allow you to skip the long credits part at the end of the game, which was frustrating. Also the game is quite short.

This game is really one of a kind, it is an artistic masterpiece, perfectly refined and deep in every aspect. The fictional world based on Nordic Mythology is very original and creative, the plot is fascinating, keeps your eyes wide open during the whole story. Deep characters, deeper dialogues, moral dilemmas, tremendous amount of choice etc. crowned with good combat dynamics and beautiful animations and cinematics. I can't think how this game could have been better.
Good game. Story could have been deeper, but it's not bad. The AI is impressive actually for a shooter. There are several difficulty levels and the more you increase the difficulty, closer you get to a real sniping experience. Ballistics take gravity, muzzle velocity and wind into account, cover and sound dynamics are also great. If you like sniping concept, this game is for you.
Great game. Plus, a huge improvement over its predecessor "Dead Island" in every aspect. This series is really one of a kind. The gloomy atmosphere and the sense of abandonment is great, the adrenaline, the tension, the constant feeling of insecurity are just perfect. Compared to the Dead Island, zombies are much stronger, faster and even smarter - as smart as zombies can be :) The plot is detailed and characters are deep enough - although there some rough edges.
If you think it's just a game you are severely mistaken. This is THE GAME, certainly the best RPG ever created and one of the top 5 games among all PC games ever. The amount of content, the complexity, the meticulous artistic design and everything else it offers was incomparable to anything back in its time. Just buy it, play it ;)
This is a great game ! A must-buy if you love the survival horror genre. Great atmosphere, high tension, difficulty is challenging but not boring. The story is awesome and loyal to the original Alien fiction.
This game is a perfection in its own genre. If you like "choices matter" and "story rich" games, just buy the whole bundle. The epic ending of episode 5 is especially mind-breaking. Don't let the apparent, naive, teenage vibe fool you, it's a deep game.
This is a very good game, both humorous and tragic at the same time. It is not a pure adventure game with difficult puzzles, something I never liked at all; on the contrary, this is a quite easy game both for action players and puzzle solvers; so any average player can enjoy it, the best part is the story and the characters; everything about the First World War is looked from the side of humanity, human losses, nad sacrifices. In addition, you get very nice and summarized history lesson about the First World War.
