Good grief this game is terrible. Little to no positives here, just a garbage kids'game like many others. I had hopes for this game, hopes that were sadly not met. Everyone is annnoying in this game, and it feels like the whole game is screaming in your face all the time. It's an easy and boring kiddie RPG that would make Pokemon X feel like Persona 3, and the only good thing is the music. No good jokes, no good characters, piss easy difficulty, atrocious story, and the overall fanfictiony feel doesn't help its case. I won't pretend 1 and 2 were perfect, but they had charm. They were good games, and they were able to make the idea of a japanese mithology monster collector work. But with how disconnected this game is from the rest of them, you might as well just ignore it, especially with how hard it is to find.

Yay Dragon-bike doggo is very gud. Also why is this game better than all of the others in the franchise by like a mile?

Why is this game so bad? Like, XY wasn't great, but THIS? Why is this so terrible? I'm honestly shocked. It's slow, boring, filled to the brim with boring-ass dialogue that makes up like 30% of the game, the most boring Pokemon fights ever and a mostly forgettable soundtrack (although a few songs are good). Not a half bad Pokemon lineup, a few good songs, and the concept of the Ultra Beasts is cool. Those were all the positives. 3/10, if you want to replay all the Pokemon games, skip this one.

Hehe funny doggo. Also this game is literally perfect in every way. It's no Persona or no Celeste though
