If you've never played a contra game, this is NOT for you. If you were rockin' it back in the 80's & are looking to relive some nostalgic awesomeness, then you are in for a retro hour you won't regret! This game looks like it was made somewhere between Super C and Alien Wars & feels like some lost gem that was made back in the day that you are just now playing for the first time. If you are a fan of classic Contra, quite reading this & go play it already! Its that good!

I have avoided the Skylanders craze, but I fell victim to the Amiibo craze which ultimately brought me here. The Nintendo exclusive Donkey Kong & Bowser Skymiibo's are wonderfully designed and seeing them come alive for the first time in this game was a real treat. The graphics aren't as polished as the PS4 & Xbox One but the gameplay and frame rate remain true. The Mario Kart style gameplay is an absolute blast and is challenging enough for veteran players, yet forgiving enough for the young & casual crowd. Overall, the addition of DK & Bowser along with Barrel Blaster & Clown Cruiser vehicles and additional racing options make this the superior version to own. If you are a fan of Mario Kart or Diddy Kong racing or you have yet to play a Skylanders game, this is the time to give it a spin! You won't be disappointed!
