Wowza, there is a lot of toxicity in these reviews! Did watching two girls kiss really make you that uncomfortable? This game has included gay characters (male and female) since before this DLC. Heck, this series already included cross dressers, why are you all so shocked? Just, chill. Personally I enjoyed the DLC. For the prize of a medium pizza I got a bunch of new enemies to fight, new weapons, a new storyline, felt good to me. I’ve seen some people complaining about the zenith weapon, but personally I like it. It’s got cheap, fast-firing explosive ammo, so obviously it doesn’t hit too hard, but it pairs well with plasma weapons in my experience, plus it looks really cool. I particularly enjoyed the final battle against the Horus, what a spectacle! I didn’t expect more content than I received for this amount of money, frankly I expected a lot less, so a big thanks to the dedicated team that made this game. Hope you’re still enthusiastic about the series, and I hope you receive more positive feedback in the future. (Seriously though, the series Already included cross dressers, but one, optional kiss, at the end of the battle, after hours of being too stoic to say anything directly, no, that was too much??) Docked a few points because as much as I like this series, I experienced some apparent bugs with tear damage, but this was patched, great, thank you! But there was an annoying trend with an apparent biased towards female representation, which I first noticed in the second game. Don’t get me wrong, strong female characters are great, but we need strong male characters too. The balance felt off is all, but perhaps that was just a coincidence. Either way, the overall experience was lovely, thank you.

Picked this up in a bargain bin. Was expecting a cheesy weekend long game make for tween boys. Played it for like three weeks and loved every second of it. Powerful feeling weapons, fun enemy designs. Overall a very satisfying experience. After years on the market I couldn't find any multiplayer servers, but come on, that's totally normal and not a fault with the game. The single player is what I expected in tact, and it was fun.

Frankly it's unplayable do to poor optimization so I've been forced to swap to pc. It's a free game and yes you do need to pay or play to get decks but that's pretty standard for card games. Don't be cheap. I've avoided paying cash and after a year of playing on and off, I have a lot of good cards! I don't have nearly all, but that's ok, I still win a lot! And not because of my good cards but because I made a good deck. Early players do certainly have a hard time though because they don't have cards that go together. That's the trick of the game, to use complimentary cards. People who pay a Ton or invest enormous amounts of time can be overwhelming, but the usually play ranked and don't ruin the game. My Major complaint is with optimization. I crashed FOUR TIMES in a single game! That's Never acceptable, especially since they don't extend your turn if you crash, forfeiting a turn. Fix this issue and it's fun, for everyone besides immediately new players, who need to get better cards.

Plants vs Zombies 2: It's About Time1

Issue is the game has the contents **** game, new plants, new types of objectives; but it cranks the difficulty so high you CAN'T win. Not without using the new powers they give you which you need to pay for. So it is Literally Pay to Win. It doesn't matter how well you strategize, you Can't win without using the powers you need to pay for. Yes you earn a little cash off zombies like in the first game, but a lot less, and the Zen garden grants Very temporary boosts, not cash, and upgrading t costs diamonds, or cash [a lot of it]. Rewards are thinned out as well, and many of the basic plants from the first game are missing; requiring you to pay sometimes over $6 a plant to revive the synergy the original collection had. Many of the apparently awesome new plants lack "um-ph" they might hit more, but they don't pack any punch so if you loose one lane good luck because its hard to recover. I wish I could like this game.. but when it comes down to replaying a level over and over, knowing I'm going to loose and just trying to collect dime after dime so I can afford the lightning strikes or whatever to win, that's terrible. (The plant that makes money and the one which removes metal items are also missing) (both might be considered vital, replaced with one which produces items that boost other plants [$2.99])

My word this game is being underscored. Regardless this game has been quite quite fun! Combat is smooth and the plot is the arcade style "here's a job, people are in danger, go" style, but it's really the kind of game where you're just supposed to be able to pick it up and play, and it does that. There are three special moves, a combo attack, and double jump, all you need. I do sometimes get the impression some of the enemies are, too similar, but the game does stay challenging. By the end of most levels you end up being massive and way OP, but the larger you get, the tougher the enemies you'll fight get, so it's really just satisfying to be so huge, and the game doesn't end there. You'll likely be small again soon because you had to give up you're size so you could travel, but it's never sad, just time to start again and fight again! Defiantly give this game a chance. It's not supposed to be challenging, just fun. Relax, kick back, and glory at you're destructive potential.

Universe at War: Earth Assault8

Aliens invade Earth, only seen that one done two or three times before... Saddly, I really do enjoy this game but find it hard to do it justice on paper, some units have trouble path finding, unit cloaking can be unreliable, and the air units are over powered as hell! But, I still love this game somehow.. The plot battles are generally fun with special missions more difficult and challenging then the skirmishes, but I really only ever do play this game for the skirmishes. This game's strength is in it's ability to allow the player to pick a map, team, enemy, and allies at will, and just, press, go. Never experienced any bugs that couldn't be fixed by just recommanding a unit to do an action it got caught up on.

Dead Space 38
Jun 28, 2013
(Spoiler Free) Yes, this game is considerably less terrifying then its predecessors due to good lighting, open spaces, and a weapon crafting system that lets you find the perfect weapon for you, then abuse it to hell.. BUT!! General gameplay was very, very sound, and as a Dead Space fan, looking for the issues.. I'm happy with the game's overall quality. Combat is still stressful with many necromorphs taking to running and/or being thrown at you in packs, rather then one by one, now trying to get in your face even more then they already were. The detail is also amazing.. but that doesn't make a game. Story wise... Well the DLC "Awakened" was much better I gotta say.. Main characters seem, distant throughout the story, their development rushed and their impending "crash" all too expected and hurried along. At least in Awakened we got the audio logs and notes from those as everyone started to kill each other and fall apart, see them cut themselves and go mad, FEEL the human element again, realize that people are being hurt by this.. Even the main characters became so much more, REAL.. Rather then just talking to you at checkpoints, there's rather constant chatter between them, keeping each other updated, LIKE PEOPLE WOULD BE DOING. In most of the regular game, I often felt like the characters were tools for moving you along in the plot, yet the heart was, there enough to make you feel like you were watching a movie.. Still though, I found myself replaying levels for fun, honing my skills and trying to earn the parts I needed to add another gun to the collection. The online community is generally very friendly, so it's worth mentioning. I must stress however for those craving horror, Awakened IS the way. Many complain of it's shortness and enemy's, "cheating", even the reused map segments, but here's the truth. It's short, yea, but it's GOOOOOOD. The human element is back, and it's scary as HELL. DS3 had a noticeable lack of hallucinations, but the extension was ripe with them, and if a nightmares being able to teliport, causing you to panic in claustrophobia, or multiplying when you kill them, making you fearful if your actions are meaningless, or a boss that follows you throughout the game, popping in every so often to say "hi, how's it going? Like how you can't hurt me? No? How about my causal stroll as I come ever closer before vanishing?", if this is cheating, then horror games just ain't for you. (Sigh) Overall? If you like Dead Space, get it, you're not gonna be disappointed, but cross your fingers and make sure EA gets the point about this being a horror game. Help fund Dead Space 4 and making sure it'll make your skin CRAWL (PS- The reused map segments are as if they were trying to say "hey, you won, now RUN THE FK AWAY" The landscape has been remodeled, making it look like it's the fking apocalypse, and the white snow is crimson as your hallucinations kick back in, so you'll hardly even notice with the map's new fresh coat of blood EVERYWHERE. The whiteout has also been doubled, so, uhhhhhhhhhhh)

Dead Space 3: Awakened8

Honestly this game's been getting a lot of terrible terrible reviews, and I understand why, it's turning into an action adventure.. But I tried out this DLC and still feel it's being given too much hate, actually this new content's being hated waaaay too much. This update was a step in the RIGHT direction! Mind you a short one. The playtime was, a few hours, but damn was it scary again.. This game hasn't scared me once since the first game, but this, this got me. The hallucinations are back baby! And so, SO much scarier! It really feels like a nightmare again, like the world's pinned against you! If you want this series to be scary again for you, try this DLC out. It'll help fund the series, and tell the gamemakers you want a real terror game!
