The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword10
Jun 8, 2020
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is a masterpiece, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have flaws. Take a shot everytime i say "controls", "control" or "controller". The main enemy in this game is not Ghirahim or The Demise, it is the controls. This game probably has the worst controls out of any game i've ever played, they are incredibly inconsistant. I'm perfectly fine with unique controls, but when those unique controls don't work, i have a problem with them. Another flaw but not really a flaw, is this game probably has my least favorite graphics out of any Zelda game since the CD-i Zelda games. The reason i say it's not really a flaw is because the graphics are still great, i just don't like the way the humans look in it. The story is arguably the best out of any Zelda game ever made, it knows how to make you hate, it knows how to make you sad and it knows how to make you smile. That is all i will say about the story, because i don't want to spoil it, despite me having a lot to say about it. The dungeons in this game are great, besides the ones that use the timeshift stones, i'm not a big fan of those, they are fun to use the first few times but they get very repetitive. The dungeons have clever puzzles and great bosses, just like almost every other Zelda game. Each dungeon is incredibly different, but are all at a slightly hard difficulty. They are definetly easier than the dungeons in Link to the Past, but are still tricky... because of the controls. This game would be incredibly easy if i could control it with a regular controller, i understand that they would have to redesign a lot of the bosses and enemies but it would just be so much easier and smoother to play. Despite me saying that, about 6 and a half hours after i started playing, i got used the controls and realised that this games controls were bad to make the game more difficult, you are always doing something. Which i can praise it for, you can make any movement with the controller and it correlates with the game, which even though it is unnecessary, it is impressive. I know i seemed hard on this game because i just ranted about the controls, but i truely loved it. It is definetly not my favorite Zelda game, but without any doubt in my mind it is the best Wii game i have ever played. Everything that wasn't the controls was truely great, this game has it all. This game keeps you thinking throughout the whole game, whether it's the puzzles, bosses or just the controls, you will always be thinking. This game is a strong 10/10, when i first started it i did not like it purely because of the controls but once i got used to them i absolutely loved it. If you started this game but quit because you didn't like the controls, try it again, you will not be dissapointed. Alright now take 15 shots, if you haven't already!

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past / Four Swords10
May 29, 2020
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is a masterpiece ****, almost everything about this game is amazing. Out of all the Zelda games i've played it has had the best dungeons, the only 2 dungeons that i genuinely disliked were Skull Woods and Theives Town, other than those two the rest of them are amazing and unique. This games bosses are also amazing, all of them are icredibly unique, most of them are challenging, but most importantly, they are all fun. The gameplay itself is also really good, most of the time the combat is fair but isn't as good as some of the 3D Zelda games in my opinion. Where the gameplay shines the most in my opinion are the puzzles and items, none of the puzzles are unfair and most of them are not as cryptic or repetitive as the first 2 games. Most of them are fun, the only ones i disliked are the ones that are timed. The items in this game are each very fun to use, whether it's turning anti-fairies into fairies with magic powder or using the mirror to travel from the dark world back to the light world. Also, the boomerang in this game is so broken, it makes this game so much easier, so make sure to spam it. The story in this game is great, but that's all i am going to say. I won't spoil anything, go buy this game if you haven't already. This game is easily the best GBA game i have ever played, it's a strong 10/10 and a must own if you have a GBA or a SNES and if you don't have a GBA or a SNES then go buy one and buy this game. It's not the best game ever, but it's currently in my top 5. Now, about Four Swords.. i haven't played it because i can't, i'm sure it's good but i don't have any friends that own this game, let alone 3.

The Legendary Starfy8
May 26, 2020
The Legendary Starfy does nothing bad, but also does nothing amazing. The platforming is really good but isn't anything special, the what i call "combat...?" is also good but isn't special, you get a spin attack and when your in water you have a dash attack, that's pretty much it. The what i saw as the gimmick to the game is Bunstons abilities, in some levels Bunston will let you either turn into a fire dragon, a seal, a rooster or a ghost, each of which have a special ability. The dragons spits fire, the seal has a powerful water dash attack thing, the rooster wipes out every enemy around you and the ghost let's you avoid things that damage you and move through spikes. Overall Bunstons abilities remind me of a worse but still good version Kirby's copy abilities. The story in my opinion is the most memorable thing about the game, it's not perfect but i found it entertaining. I'm not going to spoil the story because, well i think it's the best part about the game. Overall, The Legendary Starfy is a great game, i know some of what i said weren't the most positive things but i still enjoyed every moment in the game. If you have a DS i honestly think this is a must own, definetly not the best DS game but it was still great overall. I give it a 7.5/10 but since i can't do that here i will just say an 8 because it's definetly better than just a 7. Oh yeah the bosses are fun too.

Shovel Knight9

This game is amazing, the only reason it's not a 10 is cause the level Stranded Ship is extremely annoying, not that difficult, but very annoying. This games difficulty is perfect, other than Stranded Ship it is perfectly fair but still pretty hard. If you like Mega Man you will love this game. Also, Stranded Ship may ****, but levels like The Lich Yard, Explodatorium and Clockwork Tower completely outshine the trash that is Stranded Ship.

This game is very underrated. I was surprised to see that the ratings were so low. It was a fun time playing through it and is worth it. The only thing keeping it from a higher rating is microtransactions. The base game is good.

I don't remember much about this game, i mainly remember the characters being annoying and i never liked the graphic style of it, but i'll probably replay it soon cause it's been so long since i've played it. I will update or delete this review after i replay it though. But just off how i felt about it the first time, i'm giviing this a 4/10.
