I don't understand the hate this game gets. It has everything. A godlike soundtrack, great stage selection (except 75m and Hanenbow) and the best roster of characters in the series. With characters like Sonic, Solid Snake, Wolf, Ice Climbers, Meta Knight and Lucario, how could you go wrong? The art style is darker than the others, which works well for this game. The only gripes I have is that Online was horrible, Meta Knight was broken as f*** and Subspace Emissary was mediocre besides being an easy way to unlock the characters. But none of that will ever interfere with the quality of Super Smash Bros. Brawl!

The 3DS port of Mario Maker is mediocre. The course builder is actually better than the Wii U version (I like not hearing an annoying voice say the name of everything I place), but everything else is just meh. The inability to upload courses or search for courses blows, the Super Mario Challenge to unlock extra features went on far too long and no mystery mushroom courses. Don't pick up this game unless you want to play the Super Mario Challenge, play the Wii U version instead. But then again, this game will be dead soon, so what's the point of owning either version?

God, this game rules! Amazing level selection, Hydrocity, Flying Battery and Chemical Plant are some of my favourite zones ever! The new zones are so freaking good! I especially love Press Garden, so serene with perfect music. Oh yeah, this soundtrack is godlike, Tee Lopes, you're a legend! This game deserves all the praise it gets, as it shows Sonic isn't dead, all he needed was for Sega to give a damn, as well as fan support. I pray this quality will go into Sonic Forces. C'mon, Sega. You can do it. You can avoid another Sonic Boom if you follow what Sonic Mania has done.

Easily one of the worst Sonic games i've ever played. Horrible control, screen crunch like you wouldn't believe, terrible GBA versions of the music and sound effects, slowdown all over the place and glitched physics are only a taste of the problems contained within this sundae of garbage that is Sonic Genesis.

I've generally enjoyed playing this game since 2008. Yes, the stylus controls are awkward, the combat can get a little tedious and the music is awful, but everything else was good. It isn't a game for everyone, but Sonic fans will get legitimate enjoyment from it.
