It took the Ocarina of Time formula and gave it such an original twist that no other game has come close to build the atmosphere, complex characters, and entertaining side quests. A masterpiece
Still, the best game I have ever played in my life. I've completed it around 8 times. One of the best childhood memories I have. It was a magical experience
Fun. silly, unique. A fond memory of my childhood. The creativity behind each level is great: Treasure Trove Cove, Mad Monster Mansion, Click Clock Wood, etc. Gruntilda is such a funny villain
A masterclass on what ARPG fantasy games should be. It's Zelda for adults. The character progression, tactical combat, the choices, the music, all of it is a 10/10
This game is living proof of how important it is to focus not only on creating satisfying game mechanics but also building a captivating world and story. The game music and atmosphere is 11/10
Once you master the parrying, you become unstoppable. Once again, Fromsoftware manages to create a fantastic, magical world. The game mechanics are perfect and exploring the world is so much fun. Shout out to FightinCowboy for helping me throughout the adventure. The difficulty might intimidate people but you just need to persevere.
Best game I've ever played. The world-building, the gameplay, the enemies, the characters, the secrets, the music, atmosphere, everything about it is perfect. This was my first soulslike so the learning curve was a bit steep at the beginning but there's no greater level of satisfaction in videogaming like beating a boss in this game. I wish I could add to my CV "I beat Elden Ring" to show my level of unwavering perseverance, resilience, and determination to fight through challenges.
Such an entertaining game. The combat system is top-notch, the semi-open world-exploring is fun and addictive. The level of difficulty is not a problem if you take the most advantage of all the tools the game gives you. Negatives: I didn't like the world and didn't understand the story (same with Elden Ring, BUT Elden Ring managed to create such a world atmosphere that even if you do not understand what's happening you believe the world exists and you are completely submerged in it). Maybe it's unfair to compare this game to Elden Ring but, as the developers use it as an inspiration, it is an unavoidable comparison.
Fabulous game. An improvement to Breath of the Wild: entertaining, creative, unique. But, as its predecessor, the world can feel empty, the story is weak, and WE WANT CLASSIC DUNGEONS TO COME BACK.
Fantastic, entertaining, ground-breaking, beautiful. Top-notch design, innovative, great music. Two negative aspects: world can feel empty and story could have been improved. All previous Zelda games haven't had these two issues.
