Farm Land8
Jul 30, 2024
Overall, it's a fun and relaxing game, and one that you can play in the background when doing something else. It's kind of like one of those tycoon games that you would play on **** in a sense. You play as a little character, and you go around expanding your farm and, well, farming. There are different worlds to explore, and each world takes longer to complete, so it's not a quick game to complete. The game can get repetitive, however, so do all games that are similar. The only nitpick I really have about this game is that there's a glitch where you get stuck in the walls or in objects and cannot get out of them, so you are forced to exit the game and launch it back up again, however this isn't too annoying as for some reason every time you exit the game and return your barns are full, so quick money I guess!

It's all and all fun. The mini games you play through are a blast, and can be quite challenging too! Great to play with friends. It performs well on both PS4 and Switch (The two consoles I have played this game on.).

Cattails: Wildwood Story10
Jul 30, 2024
The sequel to the first Cattails game, and I must say, I enjoyed this one better than the original. The world is cute and expansive for a pixel-style game, so you have a fair bit to explore. The character customization is very good, so if you have an idea in mind for a character, odds are you'll be able to create it. The story, although short, was fun, and was fairly challenging. The ability to really change the settings for the game, being able to make it harder or easier, and adjust the length of days can really make each game-play feel different from the last. It can give you a challenge, or just be a fun and easy game depending on which settings you click off. The only thing I wish was better would be for the story to be longer, and for there to be more to do post-game, however, the game is very solid overall, and I would recommend it!

It is a solid racing game for Switch players, and is often on sale, so you can pick it up for a very decent price. There is a wide variety of cars to obtain in the game, and the customization capabilities are quite fun to play around with, like when customizing liveries and designs on your cars. The story is decent, albeit somewhat lacking compared to other racing games such as the Need For Speed games. The actual tracks you race on are fun, although get quite repetitive after awhile. The tracks add-on, which adds on circuit races such as Le Mans, add more fun to the game, giving you something else to do once you've beat the main story. The graphics are very decent for the Switch. The clubs are a fun online aspect to the game, where you and your club race in time trials to gather points for your club. Onto what I don't like about the game: It crashes and closes, a lot! One time I played it, and it crashed seven times in one day, whether it be while I was upgrading my car, or actually racing. If this problem was fixed, I'd be happy to raise my rating, but it gets annoying when the game crashes so often.
