Did tiger woods write half these reviews? As someone who couldn't give a crap about featured golfers or extra modes, i find this to tick all my boxes. Half the features people are saying are missing can be changed via options..... sure you can put the effort into making an account to whinge about how much it ****, but you can't press start and look around for a minute? Did anyone actually play the game for more than an hour? I don't think so otherwise over 30 people wouldnt be spreading false and misleading reviews. Shame on you burke's!

Blood Bowl 29

This seems to be great iteration of the game for newbs like me. I have owned the Blood Bowl Legendary edition for 3 years and have never made it beyond 1 game due to the learning curve, it's just plain confusing to new players. The Campaign in Blood Bowl 2 is specifically structured for fools like me, who have no experience with the original table top game. After playing both games, i simply wish the original release had the updated graphics and interface of the sequel. I am hoping Focus manage to patch it to the original glory of the first game without the hang ups of paid DLC.

With the recent updates adding extra fighters/gameplay changes, i am getting alot more enjoyment out of this, although it doesn't excuse the lack of overall single-player content, it does show that EA is capable of listening to their audience for once.

Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi10
Jan 18, 2014
I hated this game the first time I rented it, instantly took it back in exchange for burst limit. A year on and after going back to watch from the vegeta saga for the first time in ten years, I gave it a gamble and hired this out, despite reading all the negative reviews on here, that even went as far to say that this game wasn't even worth hiring. How wrong they and I were...... This game is sheer joy, its just not a side scrolling mash em up like the previous games I have played and loved more than life itself. This is however, a dragon ball z game through and through, the updated soundtrack with over the top shredding remixes of classic songs is great, the animatiob is perfect despite the hilariously bad mouth animations which makes everybody look like they are chewing candle apple straps non stop. Bottom line is, if you are after a tekken or siul caliber clone, this iteration should be skipped, but if you are after a near perfect retelling of the classic series we all loved, then at least rent before you buy, have a session and pretend you are 10 again. It's about dragon balls..... how serious can you be over it......

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag9

Easily the funnest game in the series. Feels like a fleshed out next gen Sid Meier's Pirate's, which to any right minded soul, would be the greatest game EVER!!!! Of course it suffers from minor bugs and glitches any game, but these do little to distract from the sheer awesome of sailing the HIGH seas.

Seriously? This is a video game. Having said that, GTA 5 ticks every damn box, its intended to be mindless, it's intended to be frustrating, it's sure as hell FUN, and if you are expecting to earn a college degree or reach metaphysical enlightenment during your time in LS, look somewhere else.

The only downside to this game is the server issues, which you may have already guessed from the angry reviews going up. These people need to relax and realise this is not a AAA title supported by a 100 million dollar conglomerate, it's a beautiful piece of work that was created to bring unique enjoyment to the player, whilst also making a bit of cash for a few people's hard work. The fact a game of this level can find so much support and make it this far without the need of meddling middle management is testimony to how fertile the future of PC gaming is.

LOL, at the negative reviews from people to dumb to read anything about EA SPORTS MMA or even check it's wiki page 3-4 months b4 release, if you didn't have your head buried in the sand, you would have realised from day one, that ufc wasn't going to be participating in this game, apart from randy because he didn't sign his lifetime likeness royalty rights away to zuffa like most other fighters. how can you get mad at a game for your own stupidity in not reading up about it? there were countless previews stating there were no current ufc fighters except randy, they said it in nearly every demo video they did of the game, it's like me getting angry there are no Star Wars characters in Battlestar Galactica, ufc isn't the be all and end all of MMA, but apart from the dumb people on here, the game is actually pretty good, i do enjoy UFC 2010 alot more, but this game beats it in alot of areas, especially training, i played about 80+ hours offline on 2010 and the mundane training exercises drove me up the wall, Submissions are also set out better, and save your controller from unwarranted abuse, the character creation is alot better as well, the blood is very realistic and smears on the fighters body very well, career mode is a bit meh, i like what they have done with it, and it's not as tacky as ufc 2010, but when 90% of your fights are against cpu created fighters, the whole wonderlust associated with beating a big name star is completely taken away, any animation outside the ring is horrific, and not any better than ufc's terrible attempt, but the fighter visuals look great, except they tend to distort and look unnatural when shown in cut scenes like intro's and whatnot, the way their shoulders pop out when they raise their arm, it is just very last gen, but overall the game seems great, and is a welcome to the very very small niche market of mma, hopefully this will force THQ to pick their game up on ufc 2011 and maybe add The Ultimate Fighter as a feature, as there isn't really much ufc can do except make the career mode more immersive and interesting, add TUF, and maybe revamp the menu's again, but hopefully these 2 titles can grown side by side and force each other to improve, so that we the consumer get the best deal.
