a really fun adventure with controls that are a bit wonky but easy to grasp lots of humor and character building levels are fun to explore, with a excellent art style however!, the final boss is really annoying, i legit have to call it quit, give up & never face it again, which really sours my review if you want a indie platformer with similar mechanics but easier controls & final boss, go with Shovel Knight instead

a very enjoyable journey, with lots of plot twists i legit did not saw coming fun characters, music (the Go-Getters Club theme is something i keep listening to), and a fascinating world giving the characters hidden super powers was also a nice touch sure the platforming is not the best, but its simplicity fits with its style

i personally love the game, i return to it pretty often. sure the game play is simple, but it does not require complex game play. the music and looks of the levels are beautiful. and try to finish the game, it has a very emotional ending. the game is about overcoming struggles the worlds take place in people's heart, the Tims are positive emotions, the Negati are negative emotions most negative reviews seen to be from people who don't understand the game they get angry out of confusion. sure the game is not perfect, some costumes are pretty useless, camera can be a bit wonky at times, the menu did not need the same button actions as the game play. in conclusion is the game perfect? no, but is it the worst game of 2021? far from it, it is a beautiful roller coaster of emotions, that is better to finished rather then complete. i hope Yuji Naka and Naoto Ohshima's Balan Company return for another emotional adventure
