I'd have to say that this is a brilliant strategy game with astounding replayability due to the ability to select any nation at any date between 1399-1821. The graphics have aged, but are still passable, and the options one has while playing it are expansive. A sheer joy to play.

Decent game. The story is quite well layed-out, and the gameplay is fun. Extraordinary levels of customization also make the game quite nice. The AI isn't the smartest out there, but it's still great fun. All things considered, a nice game.

Good graphics, like the previous game, interesting stories, and enjoyable air combat. Only problem is the ground missions felt quite bulky, and some of the other levels as well seemed slow. Other than that, a decent game.

A very, very fun game. Had replayable missions, excellent gameplay, and good story as well. The story tied in with the movies and general SW canon, which is always important. The bonus missions are also enjoyable. Overall a very enjoyable game.

Realm of the Mad God is quite a fun game. It has a very nice combat system and class uses are varied enough. With the different items, it can be quite rewarding to level up as well. Different monsters have different difficulties. The permanent death feature makes it quite frustrating when you die at high levels, but this is repaid in a counter-intuitive way. Only problem I'm having is excessive lag, which can cause me to lose control for short amounts of time. Still, a very fun game, not to mention it's free and doesn't take up much space at all on your hard drive.

Very nice World War II RTS game. I especially like the global WWII mode, in which you take control of Germany, Japan, Britain, America, or Russia and win the war with the opposing factions, which are predefined and cannot be changed, so it's not like HOI in that regard. There are two campaigns, one for the Axis and one for the Allies, which are also quite nice. Quite nice.

The story addition was good, but was far too short. Other than that was quite similar to the previous game in terms of gameplay, except for better graphics (I would like to add here that I did not play the first one on an Xbox 360, which had far better graphics than the Wii version of the first game. That was my mistake while reviewing).

Quite fun, but suffers from idiotic AI and easy combat, except during boss fights. As for the storyline, some may hate it but I personally find it a decent addition to the SW canon, neatly filling in a bit of the slot between the two trilogies.

An excellent strategy game, with great amounts of variety, especially in the upcoming Rebellion expansion. Controls take a little bit to get the hang of, but after that it's fun as can be. Only drawback is the lack of a single-player campaign, but I believe that's being worked on in the Rebellion expansion as well. The other two expansions, Entrenchment and Diplomacy, add different technologies and structures while still building on the backstory to the game itself. In place of single-player campaigns, it has multiple scenarios in varying sizes. Without a doubt a fun strategy game.

SMNC is an average third-person shooter which honestly is rather difficult, and in-game items are ludicrously expensive. Despite this, it is good fun, most of the time. It can get tedious after prolonged games, but still manages to be a decent game.

It had an incredible amount of potential, but fell flat on its face. The game would have been better if if didn't look like it was designed for children. It could have been a revolutionary game if not for the mindbogglingly idiotic AI. The entire idea has been trivialized and simplified to the point where the only good thing about it is the Cell and Space Stages and that's it. The game that Will Wright showed in 2005 was slaughtered by the **** at EA and turned into a game for children.

Many new civilizations are added in the expansion pack on top of the ones already there, each with their own special power. The Conquer the World Campaigns are fun and challenging, and teach you a few things about history too. This is a great game and an essential game for any strategy fan.

The music is slightly altered in the Gamecube version, but it still sounds nice. In short, this game is one of the greatest games ever made, and you are doing yourself a favour by playing it.

User ScoreDiscord
May 19, 2012
Civilization V is currently my absolute favorite strategy game that I have played. Civilization V is a brilliant game with excellent gameplay and graphics, but obviously the main qualm it has with most players is that it seems inferior to Civ IV. Well, having played Civ IV, I can say that Civ V is massively better, in terms of gameplay, graphics, and general playability. Large problems in Civ IV included STACKS OF DOOM, in which one could create a bloody massive army and generally annihilate everything in your way. With Civ V this is removed, and strategy comes back instead of blind unit spamming.
