cringy speaking character "oh there's blood on my face because my brain bleeds sometimes" and clunky walking sim controls. Feels like bad indie writing that wants to be profound
Everyone involved in inventing MacKenzie, and everyone who approved of him needs to be fired. F************************* GOOD GOD F***********************
"Yes, The Crew Motorfest has difficulty spikes caused by aggressive AI with unfair advantages like infinite and regenerative boost, as well as rubber banding, say many players. The difficulty can feel inconsistent, with some races being surprisingly hard even on higher settings, while others are manageable or even easy" -quote Google AI. That's right, the difficulty spikes are so frequent and bad Google AI knows about it. I play on 3/5 difficulty, and very easily win every race, and then face a random race that is absolutely impossible, following every instruction the racing line says and managing your boost does nothing. It is absolutely bipolar, such a deeply frustrating experience!!!!!!!!!! I had a little bit of this problem with Forza Horizon 5, but it was only about 30% as frustrating as this! Stay Away!

Some solid fun, with some frustrating moments, you often don't have any time to react to some powerful enemy attacks, and with multiple players it can be very hard to tell where you are.
Load it up on Epic [got it for free], it tried to make me sign in, I wasn't going to play online so I clicked the x and got out of that window, and that gave me an infinite loading screen. Online people say you HAVE to log in, which is awful for a single player, so I try with the Steam option and with Facebook, and the window is blinking rapidly and glitching out, so I manually sign in to Epic [EVEN THOUGH I OPNED IT IN EPIC] and the game works. I open it up the next day, and it wants me to log in AGAIN, and doesn't remember even my email address, WTF IS THIS?????
This game started with a bang, but fell off a cliff like Death Note. I never had any concern during combat, I always had infinite ammo, and there wayyyy too much dialogue in ratio to a small ammount of quick combat I was steam rolling. You get off the first world to a space station that is 95% talking, then the first mission you get is to go back to that first planet instead of having the fun of going somewhere new and then revisiting that planet later, this was a large mistake.
One of the absolute best games I have ever played, and I normally hate puzzle games such as The Witness, this is up there with Ocarina of Time and Symphony of the Night!
Be warned, they didn't only artistry ruin the game, the movement of the deku is awful, now you need a running start off lily pads to make it to the next one, and attacking doesn't accelerate you, this is shameful.
Cool art style and ideas, followed by a direct copy and paste of Gravelord Nito from Dark Souls and crowding the screen with enemies to force difficulty
Very surprised by this game, I've been so sick of the 15 super hero movies per week fad that has lasted a couple decades, and this game is so good it made me remember the feeling i had as a kid when I first saw Batman. There is Zelda influence here, and it is a solid solid 9/10. Beware, the new PS4 version ruins the art style with anew lighting system, look up the compassion videos, it looks worse than the PS3 release.
Unfinished and abandoned, have to go through menus using a joystick to move microscopic cursor, and I think you don't even get to keep your health upgrades.
"One of the games with the worst gameplay mechanics I've ever seen. If I lived for 25 years in a cave and it was the first game I ever played, maybe I would like it."Is what the reviewer before me said, I would change that last bit thought, even walking feels bizarre, glitchy, and jagged, it feels rude that such a thing was released at all! AVOID. Awful awful awful on the switch!

The first part of this game feels like a 9.5, then the awful jumping and climbing come [jumping on those hanging boxes killed me more than Fromsoftware bosses] with a whole host of other isnta-death things that make you need to save every 5 seconds. This game has alot of great ideas, but is very very cheap with his liberal use of insta-kills. Expect the basic military guys to either be easy or instakill, you never know.
I love Ogre Battle 64, but this just drags. I gave up when I went into a series of forest levels, unable to progress at all with my characters there because of the level cap, no story there, just grinding for what?, and if you leave all your progress is deleted??? Apparently the PSP version had important items in there, but even then it would be a **** mechanic.
SM3DW is overrated, you get to the desert world and there are no desert levels! Same with all the other worlds, it's very very cheap. Bowser's Fury on the other hand starts out feeling like one of the best Mario games of all time, and then becomes abrasive as hell towards the end. Not worth a buy.
Just played 8 hours of this for the free weekend, it has a really weak story, very beautiful English land, super clunky combat, a whole lot of collecting different things for god knows what, super clunky attacking of pots, and the **** blacksmith. The blacksmith does not show up on your map, and he is the only place to upgrade your weapons which you will need because you can die pretty quick. I finally find the blacksmith in the new land and I can't even talk to him. Audio is constantly glitching, people starting their next sentence before the next begins, it's just sad. And the aurora looks insanely pixelated, how does Skyrim have 100x a better sky??? *also you cannot zoom in far enough to the map, so symbols can overlap and confuse you, opposite experience of Far Cry 5
I was able to look around with super awful laggy controls for a complete 30 seconds before it told me my demo time was up, don't buy switch, get the Steam Deck, better selection, bigger sales, and refunds a plenty.
Got stuck in the demo, had to use a guide to progress because it is very poor at communicating, then I got to these annoying enemies you have to run away from. First of all that isn't fun, second of all you have to be fast so then you can't get your bearings and memorize the level, which is very important in these games. No I'm looking at other reviews and hearing of repeated boss fights, that's just sad, what an overhyped mess.
This game started off so strong I thought I'd be giving it a 9 in modern times! And then it digresses into never being able to find the key-card or the exit, so much so that people speculate it was made super convoluted in order to sell ""Strategy"" guides. I still recommend the first one, gave that an 8 on PS4
You click an enemy for your party to attack, they attack and kill it. They immediately ignore all the enemies right next to them and run back to where they were before you told them to attack. This is an abrasive hot pile of garbage that is only recommended by a stereotypical boomer mentality; like fully recommending a car as a 10/10 car, only to find out it breaks down all the time, and when you tell them that it breaks down all the time, they make fun of you for not pushing through having to fix it all the time and being 'entitled' to a product that actually **** works. Do not trust any who recommend these games!

Some amazing unique fantasy landscapes that big fantasy fans will not want to miss. Fun auto based combat. Cool enemies that sadly repeat in new areas alot. Some bosses you need to grind for, with the last boss being one you will most likely need to turn "casual mode" on for, even if you have a solid team that has gotten you easily though the whole game up the that point [and no they do not let you teleport away to grind for that one]. Half the writing is good, half is extraordinarily cheesy bad anime/ 80's kids cartoon level writing. Lots of plot twists. 8 overall.

The shoved the clunkyness of Gears of War into Bloodborne, and the result is frustrating. It seems impossible to find any rhythm in combat, you'll hear that alot. Bloodborne is my 2nd best game of all time, behind only The Ocarina of Time. There is some fantastic presentation here and some fun exploring, but even turning down the difficulty to story mode, it felt like a chore.

Piss-poor communication. It will teach you a certain branch of puzzles works one way, and then it turns out it didn't teach you how it actually works. That is just passive-aggressive. I do not trust the designer.
Phlegethon is great fun! This is a moody, ambient, retro-fps game where only headshots and explosives count! There are a variety of levels and enemies, and some really wild looking, unique, and horrific giant enemies! No headbanging-metal blasting in your ears here, sometimes just environmental sounds like birds chirping. I highly recommend this to people who love cool spooky games, ones who love the aesthetic, and people looking for a game like quake, doom, or dusk that is a bit more relaxing.
