I don’t like the artstyle that much and the spin-off title would have better suited to isometric view rather than a side view. I feel like the combat would have flowed better with this change. That being said the combat is still somewhat enjoyable but I find the story uninteresting overall. I feel like Kratos is too young here to be interesting, it does not feel like a pivotal moment for him and as a result causes less interest from fans of the franchise.
This was one of the best games of all time. It scratched a certain itch I had for space games. I know games like No man’s sky does space travel better and less load screens but this game does a lot of right too. The graphics are great and detailed. The gameplay was very fun with the shooting, powers, space combat, hoarding, upgrading, levelling up.
The story was interesting and it gets more interesting (if you know, you know). I will double-dip into one of my favourite franchises alongside Skyrim and fallout if it comes to Switch 2.
This is exactly what I wanted Metroid Prime 4:Beyond to be. It runs great on Switch 2 and I love the Halo influences that makes it more modern and interesting such as the NPCs and Cutscenes. However, that isolated Metroid feel is still important and it is still there. This is another great hit from Nintendo and I look forward to playing Prime 4 again on harder difficulty.
The Last of Us 2 is basically just a bad movie that's $60. Gameplay is minimal compared to other games. Story is uninteresting and characters feel un relatable. Graphics are nice but that's about it.
The Order 1886 is a great game, with an interesting story, solid gameplay, cool weapons and amazing gameplay, it could use a few improvements but overall it's an awesome new franchise and it should be appreciated for it's beauty.
I never really loved fighters back in the day, sure I've played them, and MK was always my favourite because of the Lore and characters. But after playing a few more fighters, I thought I didn't like it at all, then came MK9, bought this, and because of this I've become a big fan of fighting games and even a bigger fan of MK. Here's why. Pros: - Easy to learn, easy to master, fun, flashy and challenging. - Engaging Story, for a fighting game to have any story is something on it's own, but for game to have such a good and cool story which happens to be a fighting game, is plain awesome. - graphics, colourful fights, awesome backgrounds to watch, with something else always going on, makes it feel believe able and real. - the characters. There's a fair bit, but Johnny Cage, Scorpion, Raiden and Sonya being my favourites, all is awesome to play with and all feel distinctive. - the content or "Kontent", heaps of modes to play, from tag team matches to test your luck. Lots of stuff to unlock, like Fatalities, Concept art and costumes. - the gore and X ray attacks make this awesome, as it shows the most gruesome moves in slow motion with x rag vision, to see those Bone crunching animations. Cons: ? Haven't found any honestly!
A game that you can quickly just load up and let your imagination run wild. In Survival mode this game mode requires hard work, and time. And it rewards you back, you feel a sense of ownership of the things you create. In Creative mode you have all the resources at your disposal and while you can build just like Survival mode, since you don't have to earn these ingredients, it feels more hollow. But fun no matter what. Pros: - Embraces Imagination, creativity, and gives you limitless freedom. - charming game design of blocks, with nice colours. - Hard work pays off - fun with friends - basically never ending, limitless possibilities, can always come back and play - the enemies you fight are cool and scary - nice soundtrack - realistic gameplay but retro design Cons: - while massive, I believe had potential to be bigger, even on the 360 version. Overall 9.5/10 An Absolute Masterpiece!!
Simply one of the best games period. Now obviously you'll play this game all the more likely if you like Batman, and these days most people do. And Rocksteady did not disappoint. They didn't just create the best Batman game of all time, but also one of the best games period. This is why. Pros: - True to D.C. It knows it's roots, it's original friendly, all of batman's skills, gadgets etc is all what you'd expect and nothing bizarre. - gameplay- the fighting system in this game is very extensive, all these combinations which surprisingly easy to remember, which you'll use to win. It's fun, challenging, and plain cool. The dodges, counters, strikes, combos, evades, and all the cool gadget you'd use like batarang, electrical shock etc. the gliding is great, the Riddler puzzles are great. Just so much to talk about! - the graphics are great, the colourful but bleak world is amazing. While on paper the map isn't the biggest, there's so many secret passages, it becomes quite large. It's not a empty place either, quality over quantity. Any bad? No actually. The story is amazing, it's fun to play, it's rewarding! Just play this game! If you liked Asylum you'll love this!
This review is based on the CAMPAGIN and core functions of gameplay. Pros: - Amazing graphics, shows what a PS3 can do, it's absolutely jaw dropping at times. - tight fast gameplay, everything is as good as it's competitors, everything precise. - 10hrs in length with awesome levels - sound of guns and effects are great, voice acting is average. - great animations when reloading, running etc feels like a person with its heavy but agile feel. - challenging and smart A.I - great cast of characters. Cons: - cant throw back enemy grenades (like COD) would've of been useful - cover system while good, you can't run into cover, you have to go next to it, then crouch. You can't crouch into it. Needs a tune up, if it's more like Far cry 3 were its free flowing then that would be great. Side note: - to keep up with competitors it needs to add survival co op modes, that support split screen to add the value to this game. That supports both offline and online like COD.
When it comes to simulation in driving in Video Games, Gran Turismo 6 is no.1 for sure. After recently having a battle to what I like more Forza or Gran Turismo. And after playing Forza 5 and 4 and GT5. GT6 makes me a PS fanboy of a sort. With its massive selection of cars, tracks, and it's beautiful day and night cycle. With rain, gravel, snow and dirt tracks, it's a very varied experience. But no game is perfect. This has it flaws. Pros: - 1200+ Cars - GT6 career mode is varied and diverse. - driving, turn everything off, Apex everything, become a legend. - tracks, a huge selection, including my personal favourite. Bathurst. - sounds are amazing. Cons: - the game freezes a bit too much, especially after races when you claim victory - the graphics are pretty, but some tracks and cars don't have as much attention to detail. - blackout **** is just lazy. Overall running at a stunning 1080P 60FPS on the PS3, presumably the last on this gen, it's an amazing game with flaws that don't hold it back too much. 9/10.
Updated review. Originally I gave this game a 9. When it first came out. But after paying more attention. It was foolish of me to think so. For a 2014 game it has major problems! > when you shoot the water or throw a grenade in it. No water particles.. Nothing. > the front windscreen on vehicles never fully break. Only crack > awful graphics on last gen. Gta 5, skyrim, dark souls 2 looks way better. This is not even trying to push the hardware to its limits and it looks like a disgrace. > screen tearing. Too much pop in, even on ps4 > you can't punch? There's good stuff I mentioned in my other review that's great. Such as the driving, shooting, hacking. The 100hr game is fun to play.. But these simple ABCs that's featured in many open world games, this doesn't have! So a 5/10
Finally got the chance to play this game. And it is what of thought it be. Is it a bad game? No. But is it great? Not close. It's a good game that's for sure. Pros: Atmosphere- it feels all too real. The survival feeling is true. Scavenging ammo during shoot outs whilst taking cover is intense. Side characters- The situation is tense, you don't know who to trust, or what exactly they might do. But some.. Are just flat out insane. Ellie- she's a great character, certainly better then Joel. You can relate to her, and always hope the best for her. Cons: Joel- he's a boring character, never had a connection with him, although usually his arsenal is better then Ellie's . Story- is too far predictable, me and my cousin laughed at times, because we knew what was going to happen. And the ending is sequel heavy. Not satisfying. Enemies- some will magically see you or notice you even if you were in cover or moving quietly. Some wear helmets, many times I clearly shot the face, and the helmet just falls off. And there is far too many QTE, which makes it a button mashing fest. Too linear- not enough room to scavenge or plan, it makes the game far too hard. Okay I understand Ellie can't swim, and this adds puzzles for Joel to help Ellie across the water. But why is the a 'convenient' plank for Ellie to step on, every where? It gets old really fast. And the DLC pack that comes with it, makes Ellie do certain actions for no apparent reason. Only to raise more controversy on the game. Special mention- this game was fun, but has bad pacing, and a list of other problems from keeping it great for me, but you do get your money's worth, for the length of about 20hrs doing everything. I don't exactly recommend this game, it isn't something special. And on the PS4 the graphics aren't as good as Infamous, it's still PS3 ish. Although this is the most mature Zombie game on the market.
This game is fun and satisfying, although has a few flaws that keeps it from being great. Pros- - combat, it's fun, fluent, and addictive - graphics, are nice with some great use if colour - stealth, Is great, and also satisfying. - gadgets, fun gadgets to use. Cons- - story, while it's not bad, it's very predictable. - navigation, you get lost in this game a lot, the Map is almost useless, and throughout the story the maps landscape changes, and paths get blocked. - boss battles, is the worst part of the game, even the great combat can't save it.
Saints Row 4 is the best one in the series by far, it has a lot of fan fare, and sets the series on endless possibilities, which makes me excited of what there is to come. Pros: Nice and colourful world, with great art style Funny, well written lines Features unexpected celebrities Superpowers are awesome and it makes this the best superpower game. Unique guns Lots of customisation Lots to do, with variety Difficulty is well matched Voice acting, sound track is great. Nolan North all the way. And it's just plain FUN. That's all this game wants you to have. It's not serious, it isn't trying to send a message. It realises it's just A video game, and it succeeds in that. Cons: Couldn't really being bothered doing some activities again, since I've played all SR's.
This is the second Crysis game I've played, and it's not reveloutionary but it's a solid FPS, with jaw dropping graphics, well realised universe and great characters. Story. About 20 yrs after the events of crysis 2, you awaken in a world overrun by the croupt Cell corporation that controls the worlds energy. You are still in NY and it's now a urban jungle in a dome. But why? What is Cell hiding? The story is well written, simple but great. Prothet is a great protagonist and he now talks which gives him the depth he needed. Side characters like his comrade friend Pysho is great, and all feel human. Graphics. Absolute beautiful. Makes next gen look outdated. The grass is amazing, the water the way it ripples during footsteps and gunfire, explosion how the thick black smoke comes. Everything is amazing. The colours are beautiful. The gun textures are great. I'm surprised that a game that is 5.5gbs which runs 60fps on the Xbox 360 can look this great. Facial animations are top notch, the Ceph look amazing. Sound The voice acting is great. Prothet sounds cool and robotic. The footsteps from enimies and yourself are great, the way you can enhance sound by looking through your visor on an enimies in the distance is cool. The metal cutting sound that the Ceph makes when their moving, or when they are mumbling to eachother. The chatter amongst Cell guards. Are all very well done. The guns sound amazing. This game is awesome with headphones. Truly a movie like experience. The soundtrack is great. Content. This game on the hardest difficulty is will make it about 10hrs long if you find all the collectibles, look for alternative paths, upgrades. 7 missions, the maps on the later levels are truly enormous. Side activities to do during your main quest too. Like helping fellow soldiers stuck in a car, then reward you with a weapon if you want. Gameplay. Stealth, hack, assault, ambush, snipe? What do you want to do? You can jump 3 metres high, or slam your fist into the earth the ground shock enimies, you can straggly dispatch them with a knife. Or you can use your bow, kill them with normal carbon, or explosions, eletricute them. You can kick cars into them. The gameplay is near endless, so much you can do, all skills can be improved to maximise it's efficientcy. Cloak and armour are back and can also be enhanced. Car driving, or tanks is optional if you find one throughout the map. All handle well. Overall it's hard to find a fault in this game. It's high production value, sets the bar high. The game is highly replay able. The only downside it's shorter then crysis 2 buy a good few hours and the story can be a bit over dramatic at times. But still a amazing package.
Okay, I spent my time thinking about this. I had come to terms that GTA 5 in fact all Gta's aren't me to be realistic. No it's not, it's meant to be an exaggeration. Of Rockstars opinion of modern day life. They give stereotypes the depth they need, too feel familiar but interesting. Here is my review of Grand Theft Auto V. Story. Well I'm not going to describe the story, everyone's herd of it already. But I'm going to tell you if it's any good. Well it's well written, in depth, lengthy and rich. Personally Michael is my favourite protagonist in gta 5. His touch of thievery expertise is great. His family troubles are realistic. His skill is great. Trevor is okay, but he's too crazy. The writers wanted to make Trevor a statement. I like how he gets the job done and tries to run his own business. Franklin, is not deepest, I don't really care about him. He's not a main character even though he's meant to be as important as the other 2. He's just not. A guy trying to get out of the hood but just shuts up and listens to Michael and Trevor for guidance isn't doing him any good. Overall the story is great, Michael is the real seller here. It has 3 endings but the one dubbed 'death wish' is the best one honestly, don't want to spoil it so I won't say no more. Graphics. Graphics are great, colours are amazing, draw distance, traffic count. Etc Gameplay Pretty much the same as every other gta. Unfountantly. While it isn't bad, it's not very different. Couple of tweaks. Like the driving, nice and arcadey, special abilities like slow mo. but the stealth doesn't work, suppressors and such. You can't crouch. But has hilarious physics that make driving off the cliff of my chilliard a blast. Sound. Cars sound great, with variation. Guns sound great and feel good. Nature sounds good. Radio tracks are as good as ever, with hilarious talk shows. Music for in game missions or cop chases, new addition in gta finally. Sound great and the radio list is as good as ever. Voice acting is well done. Animations. Very well done, crash physics are great. Content. Lots of cars, guns, outfits, to buy. Activities to do like golf, tennis, hiking etc. side missions have a lot of work, like breaking 46 signs only to get like 10 bucks? It's frustrating. I have all these contacts in my phone, but I call and only goes to the voice mail. Hanging out with characters isn't good as 4 because there is a shortage of dialogue. And 4 had abilities unlocked after hanging out with them. So you get to know the characters better and you used to unlock discounted guns or free helicopter rides. But none of that here. Hunting is bad. Why can I skin? And sell pelts. Why in one location only? Why only 4 street races when I can mod my car and stuff. They have all these elements. But feels unfinished or un cared for. But the map is expansive. And it's amazing. Too bad the side missions aren't as useful. Side missions to freak into homes are rob specific stores for a 30 grand payout would be great. Things I didn't like worth mentioning. - no difficulty setting, needs to harder. - recycled gameplay - stealth doesn't work. - side missions are unrewarding. - no skinning of animals. Things I really liked. - graphics - Map - Michael - content. - music. Not a bad game. It's a great game for all out carnage. But lacks rewarding side missions like other games (skyrim) and has good elements but great. Or the ones id like. 8/10.
This game is Amazing! Wow, so good. Story - well there is a main story, elder scrolls games are about lots of stories, different factions to join, armies to battle for skyrim, people to help and punish. The main story is essentially kill the main dragon. Cliche yes but great. You don't play skyrim for it's story, it only provides a backdrop of why your doing stuff. And that's perfectly fine. Doing all these stories and not just one, makes it deeper then anything though. Gameplay. - the most important thing. Well it's great. So many different options, all feel powerful, stealth works well, not 100% realistic but it's a fantsy game after all. The swords and mettle feel heavy, feel powerful, two handed weapons more so. Magic feels powerful and feels like you have total control at your fingertips. Stealth like an Assassin makes you feel dangerous and a professional and a thief makes you feel smart and silent. I have created numinous characters, to try out every style I could think of. And thier all fun. The one I enjoyed the most is conjuration- to create magical swords and summon creatures from oblivion to help and distract, one handed obviously for the bound sword spell, aletartion for magical armor and restoration for healing and ward spells to block breathe attacks from dragons etc. menu system is great, easy to navigate. Oh and Shouts? Their awesome. It adds like a 4th layer of gameplay here, and anyone can use it, and standardly there is 20 of them. To slow time, push enimies, burn them, freeze them etc. Graphics. Looking closely is muddy. But take it as a whole it is great. Due to skyrims massive scale it can't be a crysis level looking game? Maybe with mods, but graphics look great no matter what. Framerate is stable, it can get iffy. Colours are amazing, landscape has so much variety. Sound. Voice acting is great, soundtrack is best I've heard. Weapons, magic, have variations. Shouts are cool. Content. Well this game is practically never ending, but max level is 50 (standard), lots of gear and customisation. I spent thoundands hrs of it. Different characters and such. High replay ability . Very high. Things I didn't like. - sometimes too much walking, got bored, wanted to fight something but nothing's around. - glitches, that repeating jumping sound. It's annoying, broken quests. Every 40hrs or so it will freeze. - loading screens, some are too long. - a lot characters sound same. Overall a 9.7/10 no game is a 10 nothing is perfect, but this is close. Buy it, download it, mod it what ever just play it.
One of the best series I've played, and its Epic last game. (of the trilogy) basically for this review im gonna add the things it does well and the things it does bad. if you want anything about gameplay, check out my Mass Effect 2 review. Pros: - Amazing Backgrounds during battle. - Reapers feel real, and a like a real threat - more customization - great last two missions - a bit inspirational. Cons: - That Ending lol. - Too much like 2 in terms of gameplay. - Some returning characters, you cant interact with them as much as you wish. Why cant i convince Miranda to join my crew again? etc.
An Amazing RPG by Bioware. Pros: - Amazing story with detailed characters, with many different options in dialogue - Well voice acted - Lengthy - Choices matter - Great gameplay, level up system. weapon mods, character mods etc - Beautiful graphics, great use of colour. Cons: - Jerky Cut scenes - Bad team mate A.I, hardly do anything in combat unless told to do so.
A investigation game by Rockstar and team Bondi. Pros: - Great facial animations, top class - Nice graphics, items that are used are detailed very well. - lengthy cons: - Boring, no real story - bad draw distance - bad driving - Not an open world game, no proper side missions, or safehouse. no freedom. - Too much hand holding
This is the first Hitman game that i've played. Pros: - Graphics- No one can deny the great use of the Glacier 2 engine. Environments are amazing. characters looks great. - animations- it looks great, facial animations are great too. - level Design- lots of different opportunities, to approach in different ways. good tutorial cons: - Bad gameplay. Agent 47 is no way near as agile as Sam Fisher, and would help a lot in its gameplay. - Bad boring story that never interested me from the get go. - feels to linear. - you lose your silver ballers early in the game, and limits ur option to do silent head-shots or point shooting.
The Witcher 2 is an amazing game. Story- the story is great, it has a lot of mystery and bombshells and keeps you guessing. Lots of characters can be a hassle but all are relevant and well written. Lots of different opnions, That intrigue you. The main protagonist is likeable, and the side characters are all well written. Content- it's a 55hr game. All the side missions (which are well done with different outcomes) there's a lot. Three different 'zones' you play in. Lots of different weapons and armours to acquire. Graphics- nice textures, shadows. Lots of colour in combat. Gameplay- swords, axes, hammers, spears, bombs, oils, magic, block, parry, daggers, traps. This tactical RPG ticks all the boxes. Three main skill trees, alchemy, swordsman, magic. Lvl cap is 35. Lots of enimies variety ranging from creatures and humans, and any in between. Sound- voice acting is great, sound effects for combat is great, background noise for nature is good but towns chatter is repitive. Overall but this masterpiece of an RPG.
this game had potential, i liked the gameplay and graphics and was interested in the story.. but since for some reason i encountered a glitch where i cant go past the first mission, is severely disappointing. i'm a offline gamer so i cant patch this up. tried everything, keeps on putting me back to the start. POOR performance Edios Montreal, i really liked Deus Ex HR, hence my name. worst glitch i've ever countered.
Pros: -fun to play - lots of things to unlock - lots of missions - great gameplay - good story, like the film - good boss battles. - Enclave and army fighting is cool. - bad draw distance - graphics are out dated.
A third person fantasy game, where It pushes you to it's limits. Pros: Graphics are a nice touch. Sense of danger. And basically feels like your stuck in hell and the only way to get out is to kill everyone in front of you, and if you die, you try again. Cons: No real story. Bad voice acting. Unrealistic gameplay and stamina use. Lifeless world and NPCs. Bad facial animations. Unrewarding.
A pretty solid, and well designed game, with a fresh single player campaign and a addictive multiplayer. Pros: -Excellent graphics. With nice touch of colour and superb touches to weather effects that make it feel authentic. - makes you feel part of the ghost squad. - great level design, which takes you to varied locales. -gameplay is well designed, all guns have their unique spread and distinctive abilities. And all have a nice feel to them. And gameplay is also fun in general. - guerrilla mode is really good, and fun. - sense of immersion. - covering system is top of it's class, and sync shots are a nice touch. - good voice acting. Cons: No real story or main villain. Bad facial animations.
I've always been a fan of true crime games, coz they do something different. And Sleeping dogs is no exception. Pros: Solid, deep main story. With unsuspecting plot twists. Fast, fluid hand to hand combat. Good shooting mechanics both in vehicles and on foot, with Bullet time like slow mo, if you're fan of max Payne, you will feel right at home here. Driving mechanics are fun and arcadey. Voice acting, is spot on. Nice visuals, and colour palette. Heaps to do, I got 100% done in this, and I don't usually but this was definitely worth while. FUN. And levelling up systems are good and useful. Great protagonist. Cons: Even though, this a combat based game, and I love and prefer that idea, but since the weapons and feel of them are so good. I wish you could keep them, instead of stealing them. A better more popular sound track for in game radio's, not they weren't bad but a few more recognisable songs. Facial animations could of been slightly better.
Amazing western. Pros: Lots to do. Great graphics. Great gameplay. Great voice acting, characters, story and main protagonist. Great variety in missions. Amazing weather effects. Addictive side activities, strangers tasks, hunting, challenges to perform. Cons: In game economy can feel pointless at times. Honour and fame doesn't feel too deep and different.
Pros: Great story, about regret and guilt and overcoming obstacles. Amazing shooting mechanics, makes it top of it's class. Great protagonist. Presentation with cutscenes and how there aren't any loading screens are really well done. Intense shoot outs. Great missions, and a really good length of 12 hours. Difficulty settings are really well done. Bullet time, and shoot dodge are just plain cool. Graphics are fantastic and really detailed environments. Cons: Last mission could of been better. Threw way too much enemies at you, made it a bit unrealistic
Pros: Fun to play. Rewarding content. Lots to do. Heaps of characters. Vehicles are useful as well. Good, simple, true to marvel story. Nice charm to it. Keeps surprising. Cons: Slightly Repititive.
While it has good ideas, it doesn't live up. Due to technical issues. Pros: Your batman enough said. Good graphics. Good fighting system. Puzzles are good also. Cons: Bad story, wasn't interesting. Small world. All characters look similar. Bad boss fights. Too easy. Stealth was mediocre. Wasn't fleshed out enough like a splinter cell game.
Even though it's not the best game it's the COOLEST game! Pros: Nice graphics. Not the best but certainly better then the first one. Great gameplay, Nice level up system. Missions was fun. Hellar is a good protagonist Last boss fight was challenging. Con: Too easy except for the last battle. Bad story, needed more personality. Too short for an open world game, should've been longer then 15 hours.
I was excited for this release.. But was disappointed. Pros: Choices on how to play, ghost, panther, assault- more flexibility much like crysis or far cry. Customising Sam was great. A fair bit of content. Cons: Way too hard. Bad graphics, this wasn't a 13 game. Screen tearing. Bad facial animations. Bad and pointless story.
On a technical level dragon age 2 outshined origins. Pros: Better graphics but just below average. Gameplay is better. But nothing special. Fully voiced character. Cons: Repititive. Boring. Not very open. Bad facial animations that detract from the experience. No feel for impact in gameplay, feels flat. Bad setting. Worse characters.
Pros: Good choices. Good back story for each race. Good story, not great. Good voice acting. Cons: Worst gameplay ever. Horrible graphics. Bad facial animations.
Firstly if your expecting a fps, this is not it, but a RPG that is pretty stellar. Pros: Choices. They matter, want to kill the deuchebag main character? You can, want to kill strippers for some reason, you can. Heaps of factions to choose from all with interesting back stories. Different endings that are summed up well. Level tree. Diverse and you max out everything skill by the end. Content. A good 35hr game with lots of quests and interesting discoveries in the this open world. Cons: Gameplay. Feels sluggish and out dating, and relies on stats rather then skill. Animations. Out dated, bad facial animations, awkward time stopping conversations.
Pros: -open world, lots of stuff to do. Cons: Bad gameplay, slow climbing, stealth, cover doesn't work, difficulty spikes, tank controls are awkward. Bad graphics, this game does have a good art style, but it's often too dark, and once liberated the colours bring out the bad textures. Horrible voice acting, really irratating. Ridiculous story.
I gave AC one last chance.. But unfountantly they took the Rockstar bridge with gta 5 and made the same s*** as before except ruined every element. I want to play as an assassin, not some pirate. Edward is an affront to the creed, and a badly written character. The side missions are horrible, everything is Repititive and the story is now weak. Everything is ruined.. I've played all 6 games (the main ones not psp bulls***) and ill play no more.
Pros: Good story. Good graphics. Nice swordplay. Great protagonist. Cons: Not really open. No side missions. Climbing is too slow. Too easy. Desmond sections are pretty boring
Third person free roam game, developed by volition, published by THQ/ Deepsilver. Pros: Lots of stuff to do. Funny. Colourful graphics. Highly customisable. Every mission is different. Good choices. Highly replay able. Good characters with personality. Good length: about 30hrs. Supports Co-Op. Cons: Too easy. Lifeless city, Stillwater was better.
Had potential but failed. Pros: Combat. Boss fights. Presentation. Amazing sound track. Cons: Collect THREE of everything! Horrible characters. Too linear. Repititive dungeon designs- go here climb that fight this, get the key, climb here, fight boss. Tries to be dramatic.
Lara Croft is Born. Pros: Amazing graphics. Semi open world. Great level design. Atmospheric. Great protagonist with the nice English accent. Triple A voice acting. Action packed. About 10 to 16 hrs. Cons: Story is ridiculous. Lara's friends are bland. Side tombs are uninspired. Exploring island is too scripted. Lara is like a god surviving all that chaos, she's not superman, make it less set pieced.
343 destroyed halo. Pros: Great graphics. Good controls. Nice sound track. Cons: Bad level design. Like 5 hrs long. No fire fight... Map editor mode is worse then Reach. Master chief is the most over hyped protagonist of all time. Aliens ****. Recommendation: go buy crysis 3. Not this garbage.
First person shooter, levelling up system, bosses, classes, loot- Diablo with guns. Pros: Funny story. Imaginative. Great enimies. Great cell shaded graphics. Highly addictive. Fun multiplayer with SPLITSCREEN. Amazing levelling tree. Chaotic and fun. Challenging. Great length of about 40 hrs+. S*** load of guns, all unque, stats, stats, stats. Claptrap, and other characters are well voiced and written. Cons: Not really fun as single player, basically once you go to multi, being single seems boring. Vehicles needed more use.
Pros: Atmospheric. Excellent pacing. Good weapons that feel good. Graphics are pretty good. Length of 12 hrs is good. Creepy. Cons: Mute protagonist. Confusing story that could of been amazing. Two endings? Apparently. Didn't see any choices are nothing. Stealth could use more polish.
Basically if they had the gameplay and made it open world exactly like guerrilla but also adding aliens, it would be an easy nine. Pro: Geo Mod 2. Weapons, especially that magnet gun. Repair function. Good story nothing special but an improvement on G. Good voice acting. Fun. Atmospheric. Cons: Bad soundtrack. 6 hrs long? Linear. It took underground where fewer buildings are, so what's the point of having a destruction built engine? Boring the second time.
