This might be controversial but I think id software just keeps improving every time they make a doom game- which is crazy since doom 2016 was incredible and eternal was near perfect. I think the medieval setting was an unexpected but genius idea. Giving doom guy a pelt cape, morningstar, chainsaw shield and gun that grinds demon skulls into fragments and then shoots them through other demons was everything I never knew I wanted. 110/10!!!!
Halo will always be the best game series of all time to me personally, and halo reach is co-king of this legendary series (alongside halo 3 and maybe 2). It's story is actually heartbreaking, it's graphics: old yet still modern, it's user friendliness is 10/10. Multiplayer super fun and forge topped that off. PLEASE PLAY THIS!
Half my life has been a series of memories playing halo with my friends and cousins, and combat evolved was always a halo we could come back to. Incredibly user friendly, beautiful multiplayer maps and campaign missions, great arsenal of weapons and story that is not only original- but exhilarating.
Other than the graphics- which are worse than the first one and quite distracting, especially 20+ years later- this game is literally perfect. I can't say any more without waffling; please... play this game.
Addicting gameplay, evolving and constantly updated mechanics, realistic graphics that still hold up, enjoyable and plentiful customisation and overall, a passionate service to fans of the movies. Some imbalances in the game exist but if you really want to win as the predator you can just play against bots lol. Loads of DLC but I won't mark it down since these days it's cheap.
This game is brilliant. It has graphics that shame modern AAA titles, a story line you can delve into and an open world you can explore for hours and hours unlocking new gear, meeting strangers and slaying fantastical beasts. Now while this game can feature tricky controls at times, it's important to remember the game is 10 years old.
Forge, theatre, campaign and multiplayer are all A+ tier. 343 could learn a thing or two from bungie about making halo games.. The campaign was the perfect conclusion to what should have been the end of Halo and the emotion of this is carried by it's expert musical score. Best game on the planet.
This game is a complete betrayal of what Halo games were. The new characters are dull. The new weapons are too modern day and not futuristic enough. And to top it off, the main bad guys of the game aren't even fun to kill, they're boring bullet sponges that all look the same. The Flood have been neglected by 343 again for some reason and despite the good graphics I still cringe at the blandness of this game. And the star of Halo, Master Chief, has LESS missions than spartan Locke who is a boring cardboard cutout of bungie's memorable characters. I sat through this game with high hopes out of loyalty. I've been playing halo games since could talk and this is by far the worst one I've ever played. Halo 5 is closer to Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare 2.
