If there had to be a reason to spend money on a switch it has to be this game, It is everything the AAA Industry of today is not. It has an open world that actually feels open but more than that the world Is such a perfect size that it does not feel bloated or boring and there is always something to pique your interest during your adventure no new interaction is the same, Ignoring the Koroks of course. Every mission has weight behind It even the side quests which are usually added in games for nothing more than filler feel like a natural part of the game and are actually fun to do since none of the side quests are the exact same it genuinely feels like you're making a difference in the world. Combat Is gorgeous and somewhat realistic for a game in its genre specifically talking about the weapon durability which really adds a new layer of challenge to the world and always has you watching your resources. Nearly everything in this world can be interacted with even the bugs that are flying around randomly have benefits to catching them. I wanted to save this for last, but breath of the wilds story felt awesome uncovering memories will never get old and discovering the emotional past that link lived stays with me through every playthrough.

A truly great ending to the Metroid Prime Trilogy having finished the game almost 4 times the game is both graphically impressive for the Wii hardware and manages to be an essential for anyone who has a Wii or wants one. The inclusion of phazon being implemented into your weapon systems made this game feel like the proper ending to the phazon trilogy that will hopefully be fully remastered on the Nintendo switch. And you cannot forget the awesome boss battles that really shaped this game especially the hunter who with each defeat makes you more and more eager to finish off Dark Samus and the curse of phazon once and for all. Exploration In this game follows the Metroid formula of backtracking very seriously but at least you won't be using an elevator you will be flying around planets with the newly revised gunship of Samus whom has a fully interactive cockpit a first for the series and a lovely, unfortunately one-time addition to the Metroid prime series. Possibly the only issue I had with this game was beam selection once you unlocked a beam you could not revert back to the original power beam which I understand why they may have done it but nonetheless it has no effect on the fun you will have playing this game.

From the moment Samus's boots landed into the world I was tantalized by how immersive and gorgeous the world looked and played. The Fluidity of every motion and movement made this game feel much better than most AAA slop that we find nowadays, combat feels much more intuitive than past Metroid Prime games and with this latest edition to the franchise you now have the ability to scan nearly every plant, creature and object that you find truly enhancing the world building and Lore of this new planet. _____________________________________________________The Npc's in this game weren't too much of a problem for me. And to be honest it felt like a breath of fresh air to escort companions on your missions albeit you will be left alone around 90% of the time and while I understand that many other critics have had issues with these Npc's specifically a certain Gal Fed technician I truly have great respect for the developers of Metroid prime 4 for trying something new and to be honest the yellow technician wasn't as annoying as most people thought and I actually found him pretty fun but just as equally annoying.____________________________________________The desert sequence of the world did feel a bit empty at times, but It Is not boring or terrible by any means and zipping around In your trusty Samus mobile VI-OLA more than made up for the so called "empty space". You will be glad to know that the desert section Is only a hub world not a full open world so you do not have to worry about it being the main part of the game but even the hub world has some interesting battles, but you'll just have to experience them yourself.______________________________________Retro truly attempted to change how Prime games are meant to be played in this game instead of following the exact same formula for every prime game they decided to change things up a bit which Is still a much better attempt than most game companies have done. The psychic power system in this game was fun as heck and having Samus's hand move object and control beam trajectories was sick and having Samus's hand move around gave this game a level of immersion not present in other Metroid prime games._______________________________________________Overall, this game is not a waste of money or time and Metroid prime 4 manages to be the best of all 3 Metroid prime games while also having its own Identity and Is a worthy successor for the original trilogy and is most possibly one of the best switch 1 games you will ever play.
