Sea of Thieves9
May 3, 2018
Sea of Thieves is a shared world action-adventure video game developed by Rare and published by Microsoft Studios for Microsoft Windows 10 and Xbox One. in the game you take the on the role of pirate and must sail the seven seas in order to become a pirate legend, you can either sail alone or with a crew of up to 4 people, you can join a game or host with friends or buddy up with strangers and see how you manage. you each have a role to play in order to succeed in your voyage, whether it be finding buried treasure, or taking loot from a skeleton fort. the gold you earn for complete these voyages can be spent in a variety of different ways, such as customising the look of your pirate, or your ship, you can also buy different weapons. The four usable weapons are a flintlock, a blunderbuss, a long rifle, and a sword. a maximum of Two weapons can be carried at once. the game is very fun to play with co op and even by yourself, but if you play it alone it can get very stressful as its a one man crew, so i recommend playing with some friends Graphics the graphics are beautiful with some breathtaking views with lots of colour to the landscape. the only downside to the game is the lack of content which if you payed full price of £40 can feel like a waste of money when other games such as far cry 5 are out at the moment. when the game gets more content added i will jump right back in to the action. but if you bought xbox game pass then this game is a lot of fun. and definitely give it a try if you haven’t already

Nihilumbra10
May 3, 2018
I remember way back on the Xbox 360 a little game called Limbo. Limbo was a depressing game that left me not wanting to ever pick it up again. I can say the opposite about Nihilumbra. Its a game that offers hope and presents a character to care about. In Nihilumbra you play as Born, a creature/thing born of the Void. The Void is trying to destroy you and the world around you. As you play this game you really become attached to this little character and care about his plight. You have 5 locations, Icy mountains, a forest, a desert, a volcano, and lastly a city. Each level gives you a power or as the game called them “colors”. There is a unique color for each level, Blue for the lcy mountains, green for the forest, brown for the desert, red for the volcano, and yellow for the city. Each of these plays a pivotal role in how you proceed through each level. The blue color makes your surroundings icy and slippery. The green color makes surfaces bouncy, the brown color makes a surface sticky, the red color sets things on fire, and the yellow color conducts electricity. The gameplay is exciting and gives the game really good replay value. I really enjoyed the music and the voice acting. The narrator was really cool and it was cool how he constantly slandered me, making each triumph that much better. The music was really outstanding, giving each level life. It blended well with each level. Nihilumbra is an incredible game, being that its a port to the switch, its runs incredibly well. I encountered no glitches, no frame rate issues, and more importantly the game never froze. If you haven’t play Nihilumbra, its must play. Its a worthy addition to any Switch owner’s library. I can certainly see myself playing long after the review is done and dusted. 5/5 EXCELLENT AND A MUST OWN INDIE TITLE!

Timberman VS10
May 3, 2018
There are many games out there that let you be whatever it is you want to be. Whether its a solider, race car drive, or football star. Video games come in all shapes and genres. Timberman Vs is a game that seems pretty simple, but is highly addictive. The role you assume in Timberman Vs is simply put, a wood chopper. You chop wood and before you click away let me tell you its so addicting. large There are three game modes in Timberman Vs, Classic, Hero, and Race. Classic is where you chop, chop, chop until you get the highest score possible. I only ever managed one hundred and fifty five as my best score, a new record on my Switch. Hero mode, is where you are placed in an inferno and you must chop down a tree to save little birds in the top. I did so only once and I was rewarded for it. Finally the mode that really makes you sweat, Race. In this mode, you will race 3 friends to become to the best Timberman. I never won because wasn’t fast enough Graphically Timberman is in pixel form. I loved it and there are so many references to older Nintendo games. These references are used as the backgrounds for each location you are chopping at. I also really enjoyed the sound of Timberman Vs, it was a real throwback to the good old days of 8-bit goodness. My Time spent in the game was fantastic and I find myself after the review going to play over and over again. Its really a fun and challenging game. On the surface it looks a bit goofy but its a game any gamer should try. With friends or alone Timberman Vs is an amazingly fun game and will keep you coming back for more! 5/5 EXCELLENT & ADDICTIVE

Goetia7

In Goetia, you play as a young lady by the name Abigail Blackwood. In this review there are no spoilers, I want you to have the same experience I had with the game. Goetia is a point and click mystery, one that starts off compelling but ends in utter disappointment. In Goetia it feels like every step you take forward, you most definitely take three or four steps back. I loved the mystery element of Goetia, it worked well and kept me in suspense. The story was defiantly a well thought out and interesting one. The settings in the game were actually well thought and came with a good degree of difficulty. Each puzzle that was solved left me with a sense of accomplishment. The catch though, for every puzzle solved a new one arose, one more challenging and just as frustrating. Not that it was a problem, because games need to be a challenge. The Problem is when you get nothing out of the challenge, and that was the consistent problem in Goetia. So now that I have set you up with my experience with the game, lets talk about three review elements of Goetia. Graphics, Gameplay, and Sound. Goetia is a beautiful Game! I was actually amazed by the level of detail that went into the locations in the game. Most point and click games that I have played in the past made it a point not to spend too much time on detail. This often made playing the game less appealing to play and often an eye sore. On the Nintendo Switch, Goetia looks outstanding, its the best part of the game. I took so many screen shots to use on my PC, phone, and other devices. The design team of Goetia really knew what they were doing with the level design. This kept me coming back even when I didn’t have the urge to play it.I played the game two ways, with the Joy-Cons and with the touch controls. My experience was solely in handheld mode and not my monitor. My experience with the Joy-Cons were somewhat mixed and its mainly because the cursor is really slow, when using the joy-cons. Accessing the menus weren’t a problem and just required come clicking of the d-pad. I found that I really enjoyed using the touch controls. Although with the touch controls, who can’t access the hints or at least I couldn’t. Let me know if that was just for me or did other players experience that as well. With the touch controls, Abigail moved faster and I was able to move around better it seemed. It could have just been me, but Goetia is way more fun with the touch controls. It gave the game a more immersive feel and I thought worked well. I have to say the sound was brilliant. It really make you want to keep going just to hear more of it! The spooky sounds made the game unsettling and set it apart from the other point and click horror games I have played in the past. While Goetia does mystery well, and there were times I enjoyed it. There is nothing really here to come back to. I really hope some DLC is released, as I feel there are parts of the story that would be interesting to explore further. As a horror/mystery game its not the worst and its worth buying. In my own opinion it had only one playthrough in it. I did everything there was to do. I left no stone unturned in my pursuit to understand what had happened to Abigail Blackwood. Sushee has done a good job in trying to bring a story to life in Goetia. Although there are some failings as I have mentioned in the opening. This is still a game that should be played and given respect. My goal has been to give you an unbiased review, and a review based on my opinion. For an indie game, its worth the money. In this industry indie games are a refreshing change of pace. Goetia is a game that I was honored to play and review. I enjoyed the games mystery aspect, and I really enjoyed the story. I’m glad to have had the opportunity to review this game and I would recommend this, if you love mystery point and click games, or games based on horror.
