The game looks aesthetically pleasing, and has good music. But nothing else about this game is good. The game is ridiculously easy as the enemies do not scale in difficulty. After beating the game, I used my level 1 character in one of the final dungeons and was 1 shot killing the enemies. Game has lots of glitches that years later are still not fixed. I played the entire game couch co-op. When player 1 wants to go into the menu, they will start auto attacking once they come out of the menu. The only way to stop it is to have player 2 go in/out of the menu. Other glitches involve getting stuck behind doors, same enemies that go from 1 hit kills to impossible to kill, lock doors not unlocking to halt your adventure and if you kill a boss TO quick the game won't recognize it and you will be stuck. Most of the dungeons are completely empty, especially the concert halls which take almost 40 minutes to run through and you might fight at most 5-6 rats. Puzzles are pathetic, move a box on top of a switch that is 2 feet away. The game definitely feel incomplete. An extremely boring, glitchy, and below average game. Got this on the PSN for $5.00 and still not worth it.

Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story5

I have to agree with FleaSixty's review. They are spot on with this one. While the core game play is very simplistic, I scored a 5, as it still managed to be addicting enough to see it all the way through. Game is easy, short with a simple Platinum trophy if you can burn through 2 extra playthroughs. Wait for a discount if going to purchase this one.

A great game for those that love the Zelda style adventure games. A cross between traditional old school Zelda mixed with Wind Waker. Gameplay is smooth, exploring is fun and some good puzzles. Music is good and the game is just long enough to warrant the price tag. Most locations look the same with different textures but are just different enough to set the atmosphere for each zone they are aiming for. For you trophy hunters out there, this is an easy Platinum. (So easy you can Platinum without beating the game)

For the price, this game does not disappoint. Quick and easy arcade racing fun. A great game to play when you don't have a lot of time but need a quick gaming fix. Stunts are fun to pull off, especially later on when you have a variety to choose from. Challenge is just decent enough to keep you on your toes. For you trophy hunters, an easy Platinum once you obtain the better Jet Skies.

Hmph. Well...beat the game, because I paid for it. After beating it, I remained silent, contemplating my thoughts on this game. It's not **** it's not **** 5.

Diablo III8

Based on all the negative reviews I'm lucky that upon purchasing this game I had never played Diablo 1 or 2. Most of those negative reviews seem to be based on comparison or expectation. I will give my opinion with neither of those issues as I have no comparison for this game coming into it, nor have I followed it enough to have any expectation. The only reason I picked it up is cause my friends wanted me to join in their festivities. So I did. Twice lucky, I missed launch day, so I never had any issues with errors or connections at all. I have only played this game mulitplayer thus far and have put about 7 hours into it. So far I am enjoying it. Its a great Hack & Slash RPG. Simple story, simple control, simple graphics, great art style and great music. This is the type of game you pick up and play when you want that mindless fun. Brought me back to the days of playing the original Gauntlet. (Obviously enhanced) but a great feeling of classic gaming for sure. It seems at the time of writing this (User score 3.8 on 3000+ reviews) that the average user score reflects the launch day madness and not the game itself. For those that say this is not as good as 1 or 2, thanks, just means I better go back and check those out now too.

Jak and Daxter Collection9
May 17, 2012
Was very excited about this series getting an HD release. I never did keep my PS2 but did keep my games due to the backwards compatibility of the PS3. However, my version only has an emulator which can make some of the games not run properly, IE: Jak & Daxter. Back in the day I loved these games so for sure I was getting them for the HD release. Though graphically part 1 isn't as sharp as 2 or 3, its still the better game IMO. The first game is a true platformer; fun, exciting, balanced difficulty and even different endings based on how much you explored. The lip snycing for that time was incredible!! Parts 2 and 3 added more of the 3rd person shooter aspect to the game, still really well done, but changed the feel of the first game. Don't get me wrong, part 2 and 3 are still amazing, but part 1 gives you that fun classic platform that you expect from that genre. As an HD release, I'm happy. I didn't expect any additionals, videos, pictures, etc. I just expected to be able to experience the 3 Jak games, (in widescreen), all over again. And thats what I got.

Mega Man 107
May 16, 2012
I would have to agree with 'Axlthehunter's review. Great fun, with a wash of nostalgia all the way. Obviously not as good as 9, or a couple others from the past, but still works well in the series. As far as a cash grab, I agree as well, however, for $10 I get a new 8-bit mega man... then cash grab me anyday. Should you download it, just know its not better than 9 or 2 or 3, but its still a great fun Mega Man game. The only disappointment I had is that of the music. Most Mega Man's have great soundtracks. Not this one, probably the worst of them all. What does $10 normally get you? A combo at Subway? Go make a Sandwich and use that $10 to buy a game instead... you'll thank me later.

Long awaited, but delivered. A fantastic JRPG! One of the things I loved the most about the game was the art style and music. The characters look great, the world looks great, and the game sounds great. While the Wii is obviously behind in tech, it proves that you don't need the most current hardware to have a game be great. The gameplay and control are smooth. Lots of exploring to do, and thousands upon thousands of side quests to be done. When playing this game, I felt a huge wave of nostalgia wash over me. It felt like playing a new RPG for the SNES back in the day. Its a shame that not alot of people will get to play this game. JRPG gamers for the most part should love this game, though you can't please everyone, the overall reviews still speak for themseleves.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning5

The game starts off better than it ends in my opinion. At first you are welcome to a lush world to explore, simple but effective graphics, and easy to learn & use combat. You immediately see the potential this game has early on. Thousands of side quests available, farming and crafting, making decisions during the story and the ability to try different classes mid game if your bored of the one you are using. I found my self excited to explore a world that R.A Salvatore has written and do every side quest possible. However, just as quickly as you saw the potential, it is just as quickly washed away. Before long you realize you are doing the same quests over and over and over. The main story becomes so incredibly boring that you will start to skip the dialogue scenes. By the last areas on the map, I was walking past every side quest possible and only doing main story quests which lead up to a pretty disappointing and anti-climactic ending. The diversity of the each map area was also disappointing. From having areas with lots of trees, to area that have not as many trees. As well as a small assortment of enemies that only change in color as the game gets harder. Its by no means a horrible game and I believe that this game could only be as good as you make it. I was getting bored of it, because I tried to do everything which in turn let me see just how much this game is a rinse and repeat. For those who need a small fix of mmo without having to pay online to play, this MAY be something of interest to you. If you do, you will enjoy it more if you are a loot gamer, as this game is filled with it. In final, for those that do want to purchase this, it's definately not worth $59.99. Wait for a bargain bin of $19.99 or maybe... MAYBE $24.99 (and that's pushing it)
